    I'm a member of the Free Reformed Churches of Australia, and recently we had to cut our ties to the Reformed Church of the Netherlands as a result of their theological liberalism. They are allowing women in ministry, becoming friendly with homosexuality and the whole works, and it all began with question the truth of Gen 1-11. When we question what God has said in one area, we give ourselves licence to question God in all areas, and pretty soon all theological orthodoxy is gone.

      There is only one solution here. All of Christians should obstain from having sex all together. Thus there would be no woman any longer. And solve the christianity issue at the same time. It will only take around 50 years and we are all like god wanted us to be. After all god is male with testicles and a penis but no partner to reproduce with. So all male christians should obstain from having sex ever to be closer to their ideal. Conclusion: The problem are not the woman who become ordained, its the males who are sinning in having sex with them in the first place. Dont blame the woman blame the males who have sex and reproduce.

Let alone the idea of a single god that has a gender (male in the instance of judean christian muslemic worldview) is ludicrous and defies logic. Yet all the religions in this realm center around this idea. Apart from that all of those books that claim to be gods word, i.e. bible, quaran are contradicting themselves in such obvious ways that one has to be very deluded to think anything in it is true and not made up. The bible being the worst of all. to then claim that everything in is literally true is either insane or, in the case of ken ham, a very good business model. after all he attracts enough gullible people to make a living with it. ken ham is clever in the way that he exploits this failure in the human phsycic.

Among other reasons because of hundreds of prophecies, which are already fulfilled. This was a central point for the French mathematician Pascal, who was a devoted Christian. Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, the second Adam, is the way the truth and the life. GOD became human flesh in Christ to redeem all, who believe in him and his work in death and resurrection. @Ooochild 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@MikeFree22 That’s a loaded question but I think you and I would agree that the Bible must be taken both literally and consistently, aside from obvious songs metaphors, parables etc, correct? The ancient Hebrew/Aramaic language was relatively limited in its vocabulary in comparison to our modern language, so frequently ancient words had to do double or triple duty. For example, you can interpret the ancient word for “day” (24 hours) just as literally as you can for other meanings, such as long periods of time. That all boils down to the 6 “days” of creation, literally not necessarily being limited to six 24hour periods of time. Additionally the science points towards much longer periods of time and still fits in with what the Bible says, literally and consistently.

    In Genesis 1, did the Most High God and Father in heaven created the heaven and the earth? Or the word God can mean elohiy(el-o-heem) in James Strong who was chosen by the Holy Spirit to use numbers in the Translations of the original manuscripts found into English of the King James Bible! Did you dismissed and keep hidden from the Church like they did from their congregations back in 1890 the Strong's numbers translations? Because it's been dismissed and kept hidden from the congregations until now! Not that I worry about that, because the Church that was out there in the physical bodied Church back in 1890, was not the true spiritual Church of Christ by 1890, but was a fallen into apostasy believer churches just like they are today!!! I would love to get a reply for my comment Ken!

  • @dank9828

    Asking Genesis to explain the "how" of creation is like asking a family cookbook to explain how an oven works. The errancy is with the reader.
    It's okay to allow other Christians to disagree with you and not discount their faith - some are YEC, some are OEC, some have no-issue with evolution, some are Catholic, some are Greek Orthodox, some are Baptist. From what I can tell the Lord requires 3 things - seek justice, love mercy, walk HUMBLY with thy God.
    I think Ken Ham has done more to harm the faith than help because of the lines he draws.

      The devil has quoted scripture and twisted it. Are we to stop reading the Bible too? Do we let pagans claim and define everything?
      Christmas trees in and of themselves are not evil…and do not belong to pagans because they used them for dishonorable uses.
      If you only used things pagans never used….you wouldn’t use anything.

    NOOOOOO!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Genesis 1-11 is NOT the “foundation for everything” as you claim Ken Ham!! - “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is JESUS CHRIST” - 1 Cor 3:11!!!
    While you claim to hold the Bible out as your ultimate epistemic and moral authority, it turns out that you're in fact paying nothing more than lip service to God and His revelation as the Truth (not merely true, but the Truth (with a capital ‘T’)!
    Holding ‘autonomous man’ (and his assessment of the evidence for creation as you contend) as the final arbiter of what is true and what is not, in effect subordinates God and His revelation to the ‘authority’ of man! By your reckoning, the things of God are nothing more than ‘mere conclusions’ rather than your starting point!

      Genesis 1-11 is the foundation for every doctrine. Ken Ham teaches that every doctrine, directly or indirectly, can be found in Genesis 1-11. Why is there suffering in the world? Genesis 1-11. Why do we need Christ? Genesis 1-11. Why do we exist? Genesis 1-11. I could go on. So when we mess that up and interpret it through man’s word, like millions of years, evolution, etc. we ultimately destroy the gospel.

      @@markusw.2690 OK - 2xQs: One… did all of that and what subsequently followed in history - did it all happen by sheer chance, or did God decree it all before He laid the foundations of the world (Rom 8 & Eph 1)? And two… did Paul then get it wrong in 1Cor 3:11 to suggest that the birth, life, ministry, death and resurrection of His Son did not represent the fulcrum upon which the entire gospel rested?

      @SDRBass 8 месяцев назад +3

      @@osksYou’re missing the point. If you don’t accept a literal interpretation of Genesis 1-11, there’s no reason to believe the rest of the Bible. If the creation account is nothing more than a bit of mythology there’s no reason to believe Christ was necessary. Get it?

    • @osks
      @osks 8 месяцев назад

      @@hollybooth6946 Really Holly? Have you actually ever done a proper exegetical study of those first eleven chapters (and I’m not dismissing their importance, but NOT at the cost of the rest of Scripture, ALL of which - not just PART but ALL - is “God breathed…” (2Tim 3:16)?
      Gen 1-11 explicitly deal with CREATION, so, without INFERRING (a really big inference) any of the essential doctrines of the Faith and without any REFERENCE to the rest of Scripture) how do you for example get to conclude the essential doctrine of salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone for example ANYWHERE in those first 11 chapters, when Jesus Christ only first (arguably) comes into view in Genesis 16:7 (viz Rom 3:21)? How do you for example INFER (because that’s all that you can do since these doctrines are not explicitly stated anywhere in those chapters) the doctrine of perdition, the doctrine of redemption, the doctrine of reprobation, the doctrine of restoration, the doctrine of glorification… from these chapters without reference to the rest of Scripture, especially when the law is only given to Moses some 2,500 years later in Exodus 20? While we understand the doctrine of the Trinity for example from Gen 1:26, that is something we can only see within the context of the rest of God’s redemptive work, all of which in fact hold together without any reference to Gen 1-11!
      Consider this… when the risen Christ revealed himself to his disciples on the road to Emmaus, he didn’t start with creation in Gen 1 (not that Gen 1-11 isn’t important - it is, but it’s not foundational), instead… “Beginning with MOSES AND ALL THE PROPHETS, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself” - Luk 24:27
      The key point is this - as the Logos (and that explains absolutely everything)… “There is no foundation other than JESUS CHRIST” (1Cor 3:11)!
      Please please please don’t just blindly mouthe men like Ken Ham without being a Berean (Act 17:11), I beg of you…
