    May I suggest a brace behind the post at an angle up to and attached to the post, the round pole may have a tendency to turn in the wind, or if you you had one of those portable basketball hoop stands, mount to that and you’d be able to move it around for convenience

    I really like that. Be awesome mounted on poles that drop inside the poles either side of the drive gate

    Them solar charge street lights are great imo, I have a couple old fashioned PIR versions with separate solar panels, set on "standby mode" the glow keeps a lot of the urban wildlife out of the yard of the apartment building I live in and those who do wander in don't linger when the yard is lit up like a prison yard lol also don't get too many bugs around them unlike the old halogen and sodium lights

    Hey just wanted to say I really liked watching your Survival show where you were finding your own food. I was wondering if you ever trapped bullfrogs for food? You can get alot of meat from their legs and I have to say I grew up eating them and I can definitely say they taste really good.

      Ive never trapped them before. I just hunt them with a big stick

    Nice, plug and play type light. If it's not too much trouble, could we get a bit of info on how long the light will run, after you've observed it for a couple weeks?

    Does the solar panel move independently from the light? Thinking of where I would place these, the direction I'd like the light to face would direct the panel away from the sun. Thanks

      @@SurvivalLiving yeah that would prevent it from moving around during that Florida weather. I'm gonna look into one of these because I think it would be a good driveway light

    • @SurvivalLiving
      @SurvivalLiving  2 года назад

      It has a 2/4/6 hour setting. I've left mine on the always on setting and still had light the following morning until the solar sensor automatically shut down

    Just curious. but wouldn't that draw every mosquito, insect etc. especially in Florida. It does here in Tennessee.

    • @SurvivalLiving
      @SurvivalLiving  2 года назад +2

      You don't need light to attract mosquitos down here. They are drawn in from carbon dioxide exhale

    I would have went with a 10' 4x4 post. The next breeze will knock that skinny, flimsy pole down. Just saying.

    Blessings! Were pretty new to your channel & loved this video! It's pretty awesome to be able to have light like that outside. We're wondering if you know of a way to have indoor lighting but off grid? We're trying to avoid using our homes electricity so, looking for ways to do that on a long term basis. We currently are testing out using Christmas lights indoors connected to our One Up generator. Do you have any videos or ideas on this? We would appreciate it! Thanks God Bless!
