I'm probably never going to dye my hair pink, much less any color. But here I am, watching this entire video because Kelly is just so stinking wonderful.
OH MY GOD.... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE WAY IT LOOKS AFTER U WASHED IT AND IT FADED. It was like streaks of multiple different shades of pink, it was stunning. And looked fabulous when she had a slight pink on her eyes to go with it. Love it!
Hey girl! They're ALREADY re-formulating the hair dyes...atleast the grey one so far. But they're still selling all the "old" batches. I was going to buy Bunny but heard it was really light wash too. So I think I'll wait a month or so & see where the company is at with the situation
Thanks so much for the full honest review, not that I expected any less from you Kelly. It's nice to hear your point of view knowing how particular you are about what you want. Awesome video lovely lady!
Why is everyone saying Kelly is biased? She's critiquing in exactly the textbook way you're supposed to; something good followed by something bad followed by something good, which is exactly how I was always taught to give a critique. She wasn't rude, she wasn't bitching about them , she just gave her opinions on what she thought was good and what she thought they could improve on. And honestly perhaps she's so hesitant in what she's saying on this video because she is so aware of what I visceral and violent reaction people have to lime crime after what happened to them in the last few years. I've been buying from lime crime for years and I have to say nothing bad has happened to me but I know that's not the case for all. Personally I think Kelly did a bang up job on this review... well done on another informative and fantastic video ☺️ x
I totally see what you're saying about the limecrime hair dyes. I couldn't put my finger on why I wasn't a fan of the color palette, I agree it's the grey undertone. They're not bubbly, which is more what I go for when I dye my hair. So you're not alone on thinking the colors aren't too attractive to the eye when it comes to pastel girls like us. P.S. I love your sparkle freckles and you look like a twinkling star! Your eye look is beautiful, really digging it.
Sabrina Thayer, same, it should have been all pastels in my opinion. No mint 😢, also agree about the grey Btw Kelly in the last clip the colour looked perfect! When you look at that pic beside the pic of you & Toshi with the paper straws you can really see the peach in the overtone
Sabrina Thayer sparkle freckles arnt something I know I needed! and I agree about the muted tone to it. I tend to like muted colors myself though. Either muted or jewel tone. which is...very similar.
you probably know, but just in case, this isnt showing up in peoples subscription to you for some reason. I couldn't get in through my notifications either, it gave me some error notice. I could only get in through your channel directly or Twitter. I always look forward to your uploads, and hope you feel better as soon as possible. you're in my thoughts.
I totally missed this video yesterday. I'm glad I get to watch it now. I actually liked how loud the pink was before it was washed. I would so love a vibrant blue like that for my hair.
I agree with you about the color palette LC chose- muted is the exact word! I think the colors are pretty, but in general not what I'm looking for. Glad you had a good experience!
I really appreciate this review. Its always hard to be completely honest especially when its for a brand owned by a friend, not that id think you'd be swayed either way. You were honest, constructive and had VERY good points made in your review. The thing i love about Doe is she really appreciates consumer feedback and takes it in. I've met her in person and gave her suggestions and a few months later i had 2 of the lipsticks I'd been requesting. I really appreciate your review😗😗
I really like the way you talk about the packaging, as a graphic designer in process, the package is a really important piece for selling a product, and i really appreciate that there is people that care about the look of the product, all of us ( the people that work on the look of the product) look forward for more people that gain interest in that..... so thank you kelly xD :D
I happened upon your channel yesterday, and I already LOVE your videos :) I love that you complelty embrase who you are and arnt afraid of it. I struggle with accepting who I am and my confidence but you really inspire me :) Much love Kelly from your new Fan!
After watching watching your channel for like a week now, you've inspired me to finally want to color my hair. I've been putting it off for a while but I'm just gonna do it Going purple💜 Kelly you're awesome.
I kind of like how it adds dimension to your hair with some lighter strands, but it is kind of crazy how quickly it fades. I think you'd look great with blue! I also can easily picture you with a light lavender color.
I tried Lime Crime in Neon Peach and absolutely loved it. I'm about to do what I'm calling a Slytherin ombré. Which would be emerald at the roots fading to mint then grey. I agree with you on their color palette decision. I expected to see more pastels. Not going to lie I was secretly hoping you were going to go mint. The pastel pink is always so lovely on you though . Hope you're having a great week. Love your videos 💕
gotta say i kind of love the roots darker when u first dyed it, looked cool. I switched from doing pastel pink to bright because i find it easier to keep.
Hello Miss Kelly Eden! I've been a big fan for ever all the way from Australia! Thankyou for always brightening our days with your videos and I especially love seeing your unboxing/review videos! Sending love and hugs from Oz xx🦄🌸🍭🎀💖xx
I love this review and I love your eye makeup in that glittery freckled look you did after the first wash!! Also, just sayin', BLUE TAKES A LOT OF COMMITMENT!!! I had SO much trouble getting red out of my hair and I didn't think blue would do that as well BUT IT DID! So definitely beware of the blue ahahaha, it's fine for me since blue is my staple color but if you might not like it too much you might end up stuck with it ahah... but I guess if you do pastel blue it'll be different and easier to get out, probably, so just depends what blue you use. I SO want to try Lime Crime's Anime though!!! It's so beautiful!
Girl. TELL ME ABOUT IT! (I’m super late) So a couple months ago I dyed my brown hair blue, and that shit would not come out! I tried so much stuff like clarifying shampoo, baking soda w/ dish soap, and bleach baths. And about a week ago I completely bleached my hair blonde, and it STILL took some extra work to completely get the leftover green out of my hair. It was not fun to say the least.
Hey love, next time you use it try mixing the dye with conditioner and it should lighten up the color firsthand. So 2:1 conditioner to dye. That should give you more of a baby pink ♥
Ah thanks for doing this video Kelly! I was so excited when you said you were going to use the unicorn hair and I wanted to hear your opinion before I tried them for myself. Thanks for an honest review, love your videos! xoxo
I have no interest in having pastel hair, but thank you sooooo much for doing such a great review of the hair dye and hair extensions. This is so much more thorough than so many other reviews I've watched on RUclips that are more first impressions than more fully documented experiences.
I like the faded color!!! As always Kelly, you're the queen of pink. ;) also could you do a tutorial on your makeup look from the second half of this video? I'm in LOVE with it.
I randomly watch your videos (I hope that doesn't come across as an insult) but this is the first time I've seen you with no makeup and your gorgeous ✨
I love the color! I think it's really, really pretty and it looks great on you! I agree that your old hair dye fading into an orangey-peach color was not cool. The way this one fades is much nicer. 💖🎀🌸🎀💖
I know this video is old, I watched it when it first came out, but I came across is again watching pink hair dying videos You need to try Arctic Fox's new color Frosé! In my opinion it's a little warm but definitely leans more toward being neutral. My hair is as light as yours when I apply my color, and I just used Frosé, it is absolutely beautiful! Definitely try it out, I think youd love it.
You look absolutely gorgeous! I really want to have my hair dyed a certain color but I'm not sure if I can because of my job. You're such an inspiration! Keep on being you!
i agree about the color palette they're all like.... smoky??? i was excited for a cool toned purple but they're all just meh.... this turned out so pretty though!
Apsolutly adore this shade on you, you look beautiful 😍 it's also the cutest name for a pastel pink 🐰 would love to see a makeup tutorial on the glitter look you are wearing!!!! So stunning and cute 💜
maybe there are lighter and darker strands of pink because of how your hair was bleached. sometimes you do get those different variations of bleached strands when it develops on the hair. its hard to get it perfect all the way through but she definitely got it very close! love it!
I had pink hair for a few years, and one pet peeve I always had was when it turned that peachy color. I knew it was because my hair had a lot of warm color in it. I gave up and started to do silver hair, but now I'm dealing with the brassiness that I can't seem to get rid of. Ive used toners, purple shampoos, clarifying shampoos, cold water, you name it. I am one of those people who are never satisfied with their hair. lol It's a struggle. I loved the pink your hair got right after you colored it, though. I wanna try it.
salad and neon peach turned out pretty pastel on me (except they also seem to be uv reactive as well) and seem to last about 3 washes as well. so i feel iffy. i like the color buuuut i think artic fox deff stays way longer
Lainie Lincoln I used Pony and Anime and they are still in my hair over a month later. lasted so well. But they are brighter colors. maybe try using a more gentle shampoo and cold water?
Ive just never had pastel colors before so it was just suprisong how much it changes so quickly. I use brazillian bond builder shampoo and conditioner. (when i made the switch the difference was amazing) and cold water.
Thanks so much reviewing the Limecrime hair dye! I want to dye my hair and after watching this I think I'm still gonna go with Overtone, as I prefer how it looks when it fades and it seems less streaky to me. Again, thanks for the honest review :)
Having now seen both, I think I prefer the oVertone colour to the Limecrime. The jar shape also presents a problem for people with disabilities like me, whose symptoms include hand tremors or other hand problems. Getting the dye out would be an issue.
I'm so glad you uploaded this. I literally just posted a picture on FB last week of their chocolate cherry colour. I found them on a website called Beserk here in Australia. I'm the same as you, after having my hair, blue, green, grey, pink, I've been enjoying being blonde too, but when I saw that colour I wanted it so bad. I'm trying to stick to more washout colours than semis so I don't have to get a pixie cut again because my hair hated me, so it will be interesting to see how your colour fades out. I'm using you as my guinea pig! lol . I think the colour looks great on you! ;) xxx
I loved the blonde so so much, but I think pink is just so you that it did actually have me feeling a bit confused while you were blonde. In saying that, YES!! OMG!! TRY BLUE!! It would be so fun, go for it!
I tried putting pink dye in my hair before. I honestly didn't think it would work because my hair is dark, thick and long, but the dye took. I only did a few strands of my hair and I didn't use bleach. The dye lasted for months! I thought it would have washed out in a few weeks, but it stayed in my hair for months and the pink started to look sort of reddish after a while.
when it comes to colour description i trust what you say because of your background 😊 i currently have Dare hair dye in and its not my favorite (one wash faded to your second wash). i do love your honest opinion on things and the way you review things 😊 thank you.
I feel like maybe part of the reason why you don't really like it is because you weren't ready to go back to pink. Maybe it's time to mix it up a little and let the pink wash out back to blonde or like you said, dye it blue. I don't think dyeing your hair blue would be considered an "identity crisis". Sometimes we brightly colored hair people need a change. I know that whenever I dye my hair a different color I just feel better. I have chronic depression and anxiety, but whenever I dye my hair it feels like I'm turning over a new leaf. It gives me a burst of self confidence and happiness. I've been dying my hair natural colors like red and black and brown since I was 12. Back in 2014 I bleached my entire head for the first time and dyed my hair a bright purple color; it was one of the most liberating experiences of my life! I had something come up where I had to dye my hair back to brown and it REALLY bummed me out! I wasn't ready to go through with it, but I was obligated to do so. Eventually I got so fed up with it that I needed a change and I decided to get DUN DUN DUN a PERM😭 No one warned me about the perils of getting a perm, especially getting bleached hair permed!!!!! So my hair turned to mush; it was so messed up! I put it in a bun after I left the salon and then couldn't GET IT OUT! That same week I had to go back to the salon and have it ALL CHOPPED OFF. I had about an inch of hair left after cutting almost 17inches off, but that drastic change was just what I needed, and I didn't even know it at the time. I felt liberated like the first time I bleached my entire head. Now my hair is almost the same exact length as it used to be and I can have it any color I want!, so this time, instead of bleaching all the way up to my roots, I decided to do an ombre. It's SO much more healthy now. I used Manic Panic bleach and let me tell ya, that stuff is so gentle! I was so surprised! I have been using Manic Panic dyes for years now. They have always been so consistent for me personally and because I do all my coloring at home, I need a product that I can depend upon, ya know? Anyways, I currently have a brunette to bright red ombre, and contemplating about dyeing my hair again. I don't feel like straying away from what I know and love so this review was really great, because I trust you and I care about your opinion. I've been really curious about this new line of hair dyes. I personally LOVE LOVE LOVE the colors they chose! There really are so many brands that have pastel dyes, but I haven't seen a line with such a grungey aesthetic. I absolutely love it! Can I ask, do you think the darker colors would turn out better? I am really contemplating trying one of the darker colors. Regardless of what anyone in these darn comments is saying, Kelly, you do you honey bun. If you want to be blonde, be blonde! If you want to go blue go blue, because the great thing about hair is it'll grow out! Mine did! Love you dearly❤️ Stay True.
Such a great informative video! Wish you had my hair type 😅 but I referred this wonderful video to a friend that is thinking of dying her hair. Thank you ❤️
I'm currently rocking Dirty Mermaid and loving it! I've been using OverTone for a while, too, (in various shades of pink and purple) but I'm always down to try something new. I was personally very excited for some of the more muted colors because I have been searching for and dreaming of this exact shade of teal and I was ecstatic when I saw it! I'm really interested to see how it wears, after one wash I haven't seen any fading but we will see. I like to switch up my hair pretty frequently, so I'm excited to try more from this line. I'm thinking maybe an ombre look with Strawberry Jam and Chocolate Cherry? Mmmm those shade names are making me hungry! :P
blonde hair takes color in a very different way. I have been coloring my hair since I was 16 and I am the same color as you. it's very bright usually and Fades quickly color any color. when I used to do my hair medium Auburn I had the red and brown for about 2 weeks and then I had drab Brown for the remaining time until I colored again.
so i got notified that you made this went to watch it and it was gone. I thought you took it down, and decided to check out your channel today and it's here, but not showing up in my subscribed channels list. idk if that's happening to anyone else but wanted to let you know :/
Hey Kelly, can you do a tutorial on this makeup look? It's beautiful! Also I'm obsessed with your bedroom chair!!! thanks for being an amazing person and my idol! Xxx
< Can I get some advice please? > Hey Kelly, when I was younger I was super obsessed with dying my hair. And ofc being preadolescent me, I had no money to go to a salon or buy professional grade stuff and I completely rekt my hair (with bleach and whatnot.) I used to have pretty thick hair and now it's super thin. To be honest, I think I might have damaged my scalp with all the bleach; sometimes areas of my scalp are visible and it's one of my biggest insecurities. Every salon and every doctor I talked to said it'll grow back but now I'm 18 and it's a little better but it's still pretty noticeable. I just wanted to know- because I know you've been dying your hair for the longest time, if you had ever experienced something like this and if it will ever be better? I watched your hair video (correct me if I'm wrong- I watched this a while back) and you touched upon how you had to chop it off because it became so dead, but have you ever experienced thinning? If so, is there anything you would recommend to help it grow and thicken again because I seriously want to start dying my hair again. I've tried vitamins and supplements and there wasn't much improvement. It was such a great experience and I loved having different colors (lavender was my favorite,) hopefully there's something I can do! xx
When you stayed with the blonde I missed the pink lol and now I miss the blonde. Of course both look great but the Malfoy blonde was really growing on me. lol I love your reviews though because they are so honest and you answer any questions someone could possible ask.
Have you thought about arctic fox hair dye? thats what i use for my purple hair, but from what ive seen the Virgin pink mixed with the diluter they sell (arctic mist) is a really pretty neutral pastel! they are also vegan and cruelty free!
Will you ever go back to blonde or try a mint, blue, purple, etc.? I think the pink is positively and perfectly pink in every way and looks beautiful!!💖💟
Kelly, thank you for this review! I was really curious about the dyes. I know you said you prob wouldn't try any of the other colours, but (just throwing this out there) the dusty rose has those pink tones still, it'd be a lil something different, and I think it would look soo georgeous on you
Kelly you should totally try Good Dye Young's ex girl with fader I have tried a few of their dyes and have not been let down yet, I like to stay at the other spectrum of colors like greens, yellows and blues so I would love to see you try ex girl.
I've been wanting to dye my hair pink for years but I've only been able to do streaks. i always end up going back to black hair which is TERRIBLE if I want beautiful pastel pink! Hopefully I'll grow out my natural hair properly so I can bleach it and become a beautiful bubblegum pop princess like you!
RUclips didn't warn about this video wtf I can't miss a single one of your videos 😣 even if I'm not even going to dye my hair I just like to have my dose of Kelly Eden 😍😘 Oh and pleaaaaase can you make a tutorial about your make up in the second part of the video? I loooooove it it's so pretty 😍😍😍😍
I actually like that you kept the entire experience in on video rather than updating your opinion in unrelated later videos. I like lengthy videos as well xD I can actually get something done while I watch and not get distracted by comments. But yes! I loved that you included the extension bit and not only one wash, but two washes later and took your time with it. Have you decided if you are going to stick with this brand for a while now? oh and did you feel like you were getting a good deal for the price in comparison to overtone?
try iroiro hair color its super pigmented. You'd have whisk in a sulphate free conditioner to lighten it to the shad you want, I've seen people use olaplex #3 before also. You only need 30 minutes and its wicked easy to squeeze out every last drop :)
I think the reason why they didn't release set pastel hair colors is because you can achieve pastel tones if you only leave the colors on for the regular processing time (25 minutes). but if you want the full brightness of the product you can leave the color on your hair for one full hour.
I like the faded pink! It's very icy and cool, and still somehow captures the essence of blond while still having the color too.
I'm probably never going to dye my hair pink, much less any color. But here I am, watching this entire video because Kelly is just so stinking wonderful.
same.
Clarissa Lee same!!
Clarissa Lee My name's Clarissa and I currently have pink hair
It's because of Kelly is why I want to dye my hair pastel pink but where I work and live it wouldn't be allowed or accepted. *cries*
Same
OH MY GOD.... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE WAY IT LOOKS AFTER U WASHED IT AND IT FADED. It was like streaks of multiple different shades of pink, it was stunning. And looked fabulous when she had a slight pink on her eyes to go with it. Love it!
kelly if you read the card that came with the dye if you add white cindutioner you can get a pastel colour. you'd have to leave it on for 1-2 hours.
Hey girl! They're ALREADY re-formulating the hair dyes...atleast the grey one so far. But they're still selling all the "old" batches. I was going to buy Bunny but heard it was really light wash too. So I think I'll wait a month or so & see where the company is at with the situation

Omg I'm enchanted by that makeup! A tutorial of that unicorn smokey eye would be greatly appreciated and I love the glitter on the cheeks.
could you do a makeup tutorial for your makeup at the end ? it looks so pretty !!

Miss Eddie Blue thanks doll! it's actually a wig haha my real hair is seafoam green :D

(hugs) thank you so much! I was having a tough day and your comment really helped cheer me up
Oooh I really liked it after the 3rd wash! So light and pretty 😭💕
After watching watching your channel for like a week now, you've inspired me to finally want to color my hair. I've been putting it off for a while but I'm just gonna do it
Going purple💜
Kelly you're awesome.
I kind of like how it adds dimension to your hair with some lighter strands, but it is kind of crazy how quickly it fades.

I think you gave a very honest review. It's obvious you had both likes and dislikes and you stated them flawlessly. Keep on doing you Kelly! 💕
Thanks for the feedback!
Kelly Eden of course ily xoxox
I love having colorful hair. Thank you for this review and comparison to your other color you have.

Thanks for the review!! I put a drop of violet in my pastel overtone & that makes the perfect pink!!
Please do a tutorial on your entire makeup look! You look so beautiful!
Finally!! So happy, I've been waiting for this! Thank you!
It was very helpful to see the color over a three week period. Excellent comparison to ManicPanic (cool pink vs warm pink). Thanks!
this is probably the best hair dye review I've ever watched omg
Your makeup when you dyed the extensions!!! Glitter freckle squad!!!
I really love blonde on you, but pink is just as freaking amazing on you. You can seriously pull off any color 😍
I randomly watch your videos (I hope that doesn't come across as an insult) but this is the first time I've seen you with no makeup and your gorgeous ✨
Yes finally I can watch this! I don't know why this video wasn't working before but I'm so happy I can watch it now! 💕
about your overtone complaints; add in a couple drops of purple when you use it to counteract the orange tones
I love the color! I think it's really, really pretty and it looks great on you! I agree that your old hair dye fading into an orangey-peach color was not cool. The way this one fades is much nicer.
💖🎀🌸🎀💖

lovely review kelly!
been thinking about going pink for a while now, so this definitely helped.
maybe there are lighter and darker strands of pink because of how your hair was bleached. sometimes you do get those different variations of bleached strands when it develops on the hair. its hard to get it perfect all the way through but she definitely got it very close!
I thought it looked beautiful after you dyed it! But after that third wash it was stunning!!!!!!!!
love the way it looks, it's like a dark shadow pint root looks beautiful xx
I've been waiting for a legitimate review since they released them, thank you so much!
Have you ever tried Arctic Fox hair color?
Megan Albritton She tried the pink but didn't like it :(
Megan Albritton I wanna use their dye
Megan Albritton that's my favorite hair dye you don't even have to bleach your hair to use it
amethystviolet dreams you're so lucky for dying your hair
Alex Alonso I also tried the Virgin Pink and I don't really like it, I'm hoping it lightens into a bubblegum pink
I really like how it looks on you! If they make a periwinkle hair dye I'm absolutely going to try it!
I'm using you as my guinea pig! lol . I think the colour looks great on you! ;) xxx
Your hair is always so georgous. I don't think my hair would ever forgive me if I bleached it.
I use arctic fox Virgin Pink. It stays really well and it smells amazing
I loved the blonde so so much, but I think pink is just so you that it did actually have me feeling a bit confused while you were blonde. In saying that, YES!! OMG!! TRY BLUE!! It would be so fun, go for it!
*slams hand on table* BLUE HAIRED KELLY FUCK YEAH
Nikkie Hagedoorn DID I FINALLY FIND ANOTHER DUTCH PERSON
Nikkie Hagedoorn I wanna get this quote tattooed on me. thats how much I agree.
Sannah Bakker 😉 I have been found out
I tried putting pink dye in my hair before.
Omg your silver freckles are soooo cute!!!
I REALLY enjoy the long-ish videos
I love your makeup look at the end of the video! 😍😍😍
when it comes to colour description i trust what you say because of your background 😊
i currently have Dare hair dye in and its not my favorite (one wash faded to your second wash). i do love your honest opinion on things and the way you review things 😊 thank you.
Mine did! Love you dearly❤️
Stay True.
I want to try the sext hair dye!! it looks so lovely!! can you please do a tutorial on your sparkly makeup during the end on the video?!
It look great. I love that colors it give. I totally recomend it on you Kelly and others people since is so preatty.
blonde hair takes color in a very different way.
I thought you took it down, and decided to check out your channel today and it's here, but not showing up in my subscribed channels list. idk if that's happening to anyone else but wanted to let you know :/
shedevil nails It showed up in my subscriptions one day later!
Lunatique it's in mine now, how weird
Of course both look great but the Malfoy blonde was really growing on me. lol I love your reviews though because they are so honest and you answer any questions someone could possible ask.
you should do a makeup tutorial for the look at the end!! it's a beautiful look. Thanks for the review I wanted to know what you thought ❤
Guess who's back back again Kelly's back tell a friend
YAASS
Have you thought about arctic fox hair dye? thats what i use for my purple hair, but from what ive seen the Virgin pink mixed with the diluter they sell (arctic mist) is a really pretty neutral pastel! they are also vegan and cruelty free!
Will you ever go back to blonde or try a mint, blue, purple, etc.? I think the pink is positively and perfectly pink in every way and looks beautiful!!💖💟
Kelly, thank you for this review! I was really curious about the dyes. I know you said you prob wouldn't try any of the other colours, but (just throwing this out there) the dusty rose has those pink tones still, it'd be a lil something different, and I think it would look soo georgeous on you
I really really like the color! I just love pink hair on you- it looks so pretty. Almost like it was supposed to be your natural color. Haha. 💕
Love you Kelly!! I have been waiting to hear what you had to say😊
Thanks for your patience!
You are such a genuine person
I'm going to dye my hair pink soon too 💖 your hair looks great ✨
Kelly you should totally try Good Dye Young's ex girl with fader I have tried a few of their dyes and have not been let down yet, I like to stay at the other spectrum of colors like greens, yellows and blues so I would love to see you try ex girl.
RUclips didn't warn about this video wtf I can't miss a single one of your videos 😣 even if I'm not even going to dye my hair I just like to have my dose of Kelly Eden 😍😘
Oh and pleaaaaase can you make a tutorial about your make up in the second part of the video?
4:35 is when she starts
I think the reason why they didn't release set pastel hair colors is because you can achieve pastel tones if you only leave the colors on for the regular processing time (25 minutes). but if you want the full brightness of the product you can leave the color on your hair for one full hour.
you look gorgeous with bunny !💖i used jello ( green) and i really love it. if you live the color for two hours it lasts much! beautiful channel😊😊😀💖
