And even if the Sniper is alone, uncharged headshots do 150 damage. That's enough to one-hit-kill Scout, Engineer, Medic, Sniper and Spy - 5 of the 9 classes in the game. An uncharged headshot and a bodyshot does 200 damage - enough to kill Soldier, Pyro and Demoman. @@tbotalpha8133 Then its not about a sniper as a class, but the good team composition. Any class preforms better if its a part of a coordinated team. Sniper just dies to anyone entering his no no zone, quick scope headshots are atribute of the god snipers mentioned above meaning that there arent many of them.
@@lizard_wizard7246 Ah yes it's fine that one class out of nine fundamentally breaks the close range combat design because it takes "skill" to aim for the head even though that class doesn't have to worry about literally any other skill-based mechanic in the game and all other classes need all of those mechanics on top of aim. You say movement is important in TF2, but sniper is hitscan and thus movement is irrelevant to him - you can't dodge an instant-hit bullet. More importantly, he doesn't need to worry about movement himself because he has all the time in the world to move out of the way of the incredibly slow projectiles, or otherwise because any hitscan gun other than his does about 4 damage at his optimal range. A class being countered by itself does not mean that that class is balanced. And no, spy does not counter sniper in any universe - stand next to a sentry with the Razorback and instantly become immortal to anything except the mirror match. The only real ways to deal with a sniper who can headclick competently are the vaccinator (which destroys your actual pushing ability most of the time) and slamming your entire team into him at once (a character needing to get 1v5'd to actually die is very balanced, yes?) There is no counter class you can go to fight a good sniper standing next to a sentry gun with a Razorback, except for sniper itself. Period. There is a reason that this combination is often used in Highlander leagues (the closest thing to a pub environment with all skilled players that exists in tf2) and why teams entirely play around their sniper in serious competitive tf2 (outside of 6v6 5cp, where the gamemode construction and unlock bans restrict this playstyle). They're simply the strongest class if they have any degree of team support, and even if they don't they can snap-shot to kill their aggressor (even an explosive-jumping class will usually be under 150 from the jump and the fall) in a situation where a medic or engineer would already be dead.

I was playing huntsman in a free items server and I accidentally turned tryhard mode on, missed most of my shots and placed third place on my team before I had to go to bed.
try practicing with the pyro's flare gun, it'll help you with tracking, and then try leading your targets with the huntsman on a map with bots like tr_walkway, it'll help your huntsman aim and it can also slightly improve your flare gun aim
Aight so hear me out. I recently joined a 2fort server and i was killing a sniper a lot. I thought he was about to rage but he complimented me. Most wholesome shit I have experienced

As someone who got invincible a week before they increased its drop rate, that bit had me dying. Now, when I go run ICC for the mog sets, I just see The Lunch King... But no king rules forever.
In case any one is wondering when it starts: 1:20

It took me forever to realize his kill noise is "Retired" and I at first was hearing dominated somehow. Thank you jojo memers.
Lmao I thought it said “entire”
@@cursedheavy8860 I can see that. Also thank you for informing my pants were down as i actually just got out of bed.
Now i have no idea why i thought it was "throwing fire"
I kept hearing “Get outta here”
I always hear "get outta here"
I like how his kill sound is straight up just the jojo RETIRED
I love how panic twitches are a Rifle Sniper's worst enemy and a Huntsman Sniper's best friend.
For me, it’s the opposite. I can’t freaking hit anything unless they’re standing about 10 feet away from where I’m aiming when I’m using a rifle, and when I use the huntsman, I have a serious case of the unregistered headshot disease, even though my aim is far more on point with arrows than rifles.
I think it’s just far easier to hit Huntsman shots if you have ADHD and a cocaine addiction
@@Aflay1 ah, so it is the same as playing demo when drunk.

I love how SoundSmith is still getting achievements after years of gameplay
These are super basic achievements, like killing a medic with a full charge. Any sniper worth his salt has got _that_ one. Probably an alt account.

The huntsman is terrifying when in the hands of the right person. That person is literally anyone because it doesn’t matter or require actual skill
It requiers quit a lot of skill actually.
You have to at least lead your arrows a little bit
Using a bow takes skill no mater if it's a videogame or real life.
Am i the only one that never headshots with better hanzo
It doesn’t require skill to use, but it definitely does have a high skill ceiling
Fun fact: soundsmith tf2 got 4 achievements this episode.
9:35 bruh that heavy you killed who was legit using his melee called you a hacker

i have a funny story about the huntsman. i was playing a casual game of 2fort when a trolldier joined the enemy team, but he was bad so he wasnt a problem. then i was trying to shoot the enemy snipers from the battlements and i accidentally killed the trolldier with an arrow while he was rocket jumping, wich got me an achievement
