You missed the point i was making! Superman didn't meet those villians till AFTER HE BECAME SUPERMAN. BUT Smallville has him meeting them before he's superman. So is smallville just trying to reinvent superman to keep up with all the other newer heros or are the makers just dump?
Besides Brainiac survives Season 7 as well. In fact he never dies, as he probably cannot(he's a computer virus) but in Season 8 he gets banished into an iron globe that is taken to the future.
clark was like a geek too! also smallville is not supposed to follow the other arc and comics 100% so yeah they can be friends in the beginning. Clark liked lana too!
Of course Brainiac doesnt look like that, but to me it's ok. James Masters did a fantastic job as Brainiac. Smallville sure have done bad jobs to characters like Deathstroke and Blue Beetle.
William Signs blue only removes Kryptonian's powers on Smallville but only when it's around Kryptonians, it's not fatal. Gold removes their powers permanently but Green is the only one that would kill Kryptonians. Plus blue hadn't been introduced uet
interesting i've never and would never watch this show.. cause it's not a Superman show, it's a Spiderman show. the writers wrote Spider-Man 2. i mean.. clark is a geek (that's Peter, not Clark. Clark was popular.) whose best friend is his future nemesis (Peter & Harry, not Clark & Lex) who longs for Lana (that'd be MJ, not Lana - Lana longs for Clark) and I could go on and on. However... this piques my interest. Kinda pretending to tie into the movie mythos. I like that.
@Arkanii1 u say smallvile is cheap but to be honest the effects they made in smalville out of 10 seasons probally high chance that cost more than your life-time savings kid.

they didn't intend to to go beyond him first becoming superman who would want to watch a 10 season lonh show of superman just fighting meteor freaks and stopping crimes

They wanted to just earn money like stupid so all the vids i have seen are such aa cheap production that it hurts... no effects i can do on my nokia 3100 better effects then this series did... srsly it was all about money and they earned more then enought...
