I haven't got to shoot the ramjet and afterburner combo yet but I have shot all these others at one point in time or another. I carry a shadow daily, but I'll say the hyper comp from Zev is softer and flatter shooting.
Definitely! I love shooting it. For me the shadow system triggers aren’t great and the grips aren’t as ergonomic as the zev pistols too. I’m sending both my shadow Systems to rocket city to get the stippled. Thanks for watching.
Agree. ARC is supposed to be coming out w a new improvement that will be featured in the 320 build. Supposedly if you have an original glock based ARV you will get a deep discount on the new version.
@@alexmiller6848 well I’m in CA so I had to pay 2800 bucks in the secondary market since it’s not on the roster. I would buy it again so I do think it’s worth it.
Arc with Shadow. - really idk - I have 2/4 and my buddy has a mac defense ported and it’s definitely flatter, but it’s Also on the dr920 + a full size tlr1 instead of 7a on compact frame. Longer frame and light definitely going to play a part. Bottom line- doesn’t look like you can go wrong depending on your budget.
Thanks for this video! You beat those other guys to the punch. I had Mac Defense do a 5 port on an s3F barrel for a 19 slide. It is definitely smoother than a single port. More progressive. I imagine it’s very similar to the hyper comp. But she is a dirty girl. Not just residue on the gun, but my hands were black after 100 rounds. Probably was due to being an indoor range and (unlike the HC) the slide reciprocates over the ports. I have a ramjet on order. I will be interested in comparing the two. On a side note, i had a single port cut in my g48 after falling in love with the Arc thread on comp. I think the Arc on the 43x did better than the MD 48 single.
Yes you hit it on the head w it being a more progressive distribution, but I’ve never had an issue w it dirtying my hands. Optics get really dirty though. Thanks for watching. Let me know what you think of your ramjet
Yes I agree and that’s the great thing about the hypercomp, that and it feels flatter. The zev grip will also feel more ergonomic in the hand. Can’t go wrong
@@OctaneAndAmmo well thats also the thing, im running the ramjet on a gen 3 19 frame, so I’m not sure if ergo’s had a big deciding factor i. Your comparison as well.
@@Redwood_Partisan the hypercomp to me performs better all the way around. But to your point the ergonomics aren’t great on a shadow systems. I’m send them to rocket city to help that
@@ThePatriotQuya there is a new one coming out as all the gen 2s will be based on the compact chassis. You may want to wait a few months just for the the flexibility in the modularity. Either way, it’s a great gun.
That’s how I grip now. Before in the gun industry it was a lot of having support hand canted forward aggressively. Now it’s more neutral. More of a passive grip, I believe Ben Stoeger (I think I said it right) and Velox training group have a videos out on this.
@@OctaneAndAmmo that’s great man! I’ve been trying to get into his course but have been sold out (for states around me)! I lived in CA and carried just a stock 19, I’m now in the free state of AZ and love it. Cheers 🤙🏽

Nice video man, yeah been using some ported barrels but looking at zev
It’s a fun gun to run.
They need to make a 4.5 inch hyper comp that would shoot amazing
Ya you should prob make your own by sending it to monsoon. Not as good looking but would do the job.
I have all three and by far the Hypercomp is the flattest and softest. Radian is second and ARC last. All nice weapons.

@@slymeszn on the port yes. It’s more of a square chunk port than the current circular one.

Ya they are all awesome but they do each feel different.
I was thinking about picking up the arc and I'm glad I saw this before
They changed the port on the barrel to make it more of a chunk port. Much better now.

I've shot all three, ARC don't do much, Zev has the most muzzle rise compensation, Radian and the Agency Sage Comp are both in the sweet spots.

115 S and B and Blazer Brass
