Nonetheless, since I live in the US, your adventure reminded me how we drive in snow-bound Wisconsin. In the winter at least the clothes one is wearing are helpful. In your case, I admire your resilience to be wearing all that bike gear and then venture out in the desert with the heat of 54 degrees. I hope you took enough precautions to not get dehydrated and a heat stroke. Similarly the ladies with you must be some brave women to accomplish this. Congratulation and I am glad that you are safe.

You seem to be a little inexperienced on sand dunes, remove quarter of the air from your tyres to get traction. This was one of the ploys used by the Israeli army to win the war in Sinai desert.

What a journey! I am glad you got out of the sand-piles on the road. You saw some wildlife, that was fun. Especially nice was the little shady jhupri, with the friendly guy who gave you cool water to drink. It had the look of a "chati" on deserted roads, or a "rest shack" as they call such solitary stops in the Mojave desert of California. I love your smiles, simplicity and the undaunted spirit even when you are in very adverse situations. Chalte raho aap!
Good ride.. The ride from Jaisalmer to Munabao is very pleasent in month of Nov- Dec. The army people told not to come during summer coz of sandstorm and hot weather.. Munbao is good place.. U should have stayed in Khuri instead of Jaisalmer.
I dont believe ki itna sand hota hai... Pahli baar realise hua hai kitna extreme conditions mei yaha log aur bsf wale rhte hai..ye toh snow se bhi jyada mushkil hai.. Ek baar toh jaisalmer side jana banta hai.. Salute to bsf jawan..

@@arunipad6121 both,tyres to get even traction, single tyre deflation would lead to one wheel spinning faster than other.
@@redeemer1167 right... Also once stuck..the Enfield lady was revving insanely which got her stuck even more..
