I definitely hope they re-sign Rico, assuming it’s for a decent price, which I think it would be reasonable, it’s not like he’s totally proven. With that said, I don’t want that to stop them from taking a RB fairly high, it wouldn’t stop me from taking Jeanty but I’m starting to think he may be gone by the time the Cowboys pick in the 1st.
Do not overspend on Rico. Draft a guy with the 3rd round pick. Use Luepke more. If you can another one with a 5, if you can. It'll be fine. If he signs at a reasonable price, then that's fine, too.
Dispite being a tough runner & our RB room bare, Rico has never been one to make defenders MISS, so he is really old in terms of RB's. Too much mileage to resign & he has FA talent (average) Draft a Playmaker or 2 @ RB, Get Impact DT's and get rid of the duk!
Saying a guy with fewer than 250 career carries has too much mileage is interesting. That's about the average number of carries in 1 season for a starting RB.
@@sarkastro LOL Ok so your not aware of the RB position. He has always been battling injuries because he lacks the talent to make players miss. He is a FA (low) talent and his best days are already past. Get younger, fresher Legs that are much more skilled than rico.
Names. Jerry Jones killed this season because two names: Elliott and Cook. Had a top twelve-ish back already on the roster. What the hell is that, Mr. Owner?
No, the Cowboys do not need to resign Rico gathers Rico gathers is just an average back. A diamond doesn’t type back. You can get any time in the draft so don’t even go there. He is nothing special. It’s just that you’ve gotten yourself so low in the thought process that he looks incredible to anything you got so let’s hold the horses on that.
I'd give Rico a 2 year 8m deal right now and draft a runner in the 3rd
EXACTLY what I was thinking. Nobody is going to give him a huge contract. Except the lame Jerry-led Cowboys.
Zeke should get zero carries. 2 carries is 2 too many.
Yes sign him
Rico and Skattebo let’s go
