Nice and helpful video, just want to clarify the meaning of gaps in your study, it does not mean dropping out of the university. It simply means there is a space of few years between one degree and another. For example, let's say chidera completed her graduate program in 2015, she started working for the next 5 years, then in 2021 she got admission to study for a post graduate program, masters degree. It means chidera had a gap of 5 years. Most of us have gaps. On the other hand a student who graduates, and goes back the next session to do her post graduate (masters degree) and completes it and goes further immediately to do her doctorate degree, has no gaps. I hope this helps!!!
@@dreams-fg8rk I just did my application through an agent of the university. Luckily I got admitted but it was a conditional offer so I had to take an English test and did well. Then I had to get my visa and prepare my documents. The agent asks you for the necessary document. They arrange and it make it very organized that it will be so easy to get a student visa. I applied for a priority visa so I got my visa a week and three days :) hope this helps
@@riyagurung7458 well tbh the facility is very good. They have a very good mixture of students from all over the world. I’ve been to the university only two times before the lockdown. The library is amazing. The technology is very good too like the laptops and the student services are also helpful and friendly. The only problem I have is their accommodation. It costs a lot and yet the services of the accommodation are not so good. I advice you find accommodation elsewhere other than the one the university offers. It’s your choice tho :)

Does having a relative or the fee payer already staying in the UK affects your chances of obtaining your Visa. I had this question because I thought perhaps they might think you might be trying to be permanently relocating but using the study visa as a way of entering the country

Yeah I think so. The interview is usually from ages 17-18 and above. I’m guessing you’re up to this age. But you could also confirm with your school’s international/admissions office
Hi Chidera, Very helpful indeed. I attended my biometric and credibility interview a week ago 4/9/2020 at the Ikeja VAC in Lagos. After submitting my docs & biometrics I joined the interview queue from 11:45 am till past 4pm. When it was almost my turn, the interviewer closed for the day and they promised to call the remaining six of us the following week. A week ended yesterday & no call from them. My course started 2/9/2020 and I'm worried about this delay. What should I do to get another interview?
Hello I have a telegram group for support where people ask questions and share their experience. I posted your question there. Top suggestions were: 1. The embassy hasn’t really been doing in-person interviews as much they’ll most likely call you 2. If they don’t call you, that shouldn’t be strange as they don’t call everyone. It might mean there’s no problem with your application so you’ll just hope to get your passport back with the visa in it 3. Track your visa application on the website. If you can’t track it, go back to the VAC to ask questions I hope this helps

John Angel yes they are. The only advise is that students from certain countries, especially outside Europe will have to self isolate for 14 days upon entering the UK
