Going back and watching the original, the thing on the TV when the guy breaks it, shows a character that odly resembles Pepino
Tall guy, cone like head, large body, even the chefs hat!
It has a face at the top. I cannot unsee that now.

Fun fact: Grinch's Ultimatum was at some point a secret theme for the christmas demo (and i believe the song for some joke grinch-related demos too)

it was called the grinch race if i remember? and the thing was the first 3 people to beat it or something would get access to all the patreon demos and also just a free copy of the game when it came out
@@greenhead352 I don't think he didn't give permission, it's that it's pretty much impossible to get into contact with the guy, at least at the time, he really kept to himself.

There's also unused track called "Tower's Ultimatum" that was remix of the Grinch'a ultimatum in pizza tower like style.

It has been said before but it is kind of interesting having the D rank as one option, as it is a difficult rank to get on any level. You can usually get at least a B even if you do badly, and A is easy enough to obtain. For D you have to actively fail, lose points and skip point gain, Peppino chose the weirder hard to achieve rank rather then the easy one. Perhaps all this fits in better with the original Grinch's Ultimatum though.
also if you get any rank higher than d it will stay that way on the gate with no way to get it to d
The only stages where you could reasonably get D while actually trying are the bosses.
I think I actually got a D on the First leveld When I played for the First Time, All because of those fork knight motherfuckers who I always bump into lol

I found out about grinch's ultimatum through pizza tower because there is a demo for an unused level called "strongcold" was supposed to use this song as a secret hopping theme. The devs weren't able to get ahold of the artist so they weren't able to use it
The lack of dialogue is greatly appreciated. What a wonderful piece of work.
I had considered at first, but I think in the end, having noise speak his heart out with woag, conveys the message better.
Idk why, but unlike the other Grinch's ultimatums..this one feels the saddest..is there really no hope for Peppino? Will nobody ever find out about his struggle? He dances, for he doesn't know...
