    Albert is a complete antithesis to Barry. He’s the portrayal of what Barry would’ve looked like without Fuches and if he walked the straight and narrow. The real reason Albert was so pissed at the end is because Barry is not honest, Barry is wasting away the potential that he’s gained from the military; whereas Albert used it. Albert can’t stand the fact that Barry went down the path he went down, and destroyed the lives he’s destroyed, instead of saving lives like what Albert aspires to do.

    • @TheAsymmetrical
      @TheAsymmetrical 2 года назад +4

      How can you talk about Barry and "potential" without talking about trauma or mental instability. Take a look at any given VA and see what a system does with an endless supply of brutalised bodies trying to stick to the straight and narrow.
      Barry would be just as dangerous in LE given his deep rage issues. Albert is not pissed off because of some mythical potential, he is pissed because Barry is a serial killer who the system spat out and ignored despite every sign pointing to danger.

      Fuches is the only character in BARRY we don't really know anything about. Stephen Root once again showing why he’s one of the greatest character actors in the industry. He plays subtle, manipulative evil so effectively. This entire monologue perfectly showcases why Fuches is such a destructive force that destroys the lives of everyone he encounters even if it’s just to ruin the life of one. The dude is a full blown narcissist (as are most of the characters in this show) and can’t handle Barry being able to function and have a decent life without him. That’s why he’ll do anything to ruin Barry’s life as well as drag countless other people down with him just to satisfy his ego. Fuches’ and Barry’s toxic, co-dependent relationship is one of the most complex elements of the show. Just fantastic writing/directing all around.

    Fuches really could have had the “normal” life Barry longs for, or something like it. He could have stayed in Chechnya with the goats and girlfriend, seemed like a peaceful life and he kind of liked it. Then he had another chance with the Spanish-speaking family in the hills (that was hilarious - more goats and a young woman who seemed bizarrely attracted to Fuches, a grizzled, grumpy middle-aged man with seemingly no money or prospects). Both times he threw it away for the chance for revenge against Barry.

    Reassembling it with a round in the chamber.
    Not cycling the action to load the chamber prevents setback, especially if repeatedly chambering.
    Especially with 357 SIG's short neck (0.150 inches).
    Just a thought.
