- The "Bowed String" sound makes trouble.
The string waveform seems to be switching to some kind of tom noise, about 8 times I hit a Key. Did anybody else know this problem, or have a idea what the problem is?
I own this synth for more than 20 year and I have never heard this problem before.
Have you ever found a solution to this problem? Thank you.
it sounds like a single voice or envelope is defective, like the early synths or samplers where you can activate or deactivate voices to avoid this kind of behaviour. anyway, I dont own a k1 but that was my tought. does it happen with other sounds?
By effects I think you meant patches (individual sounds). This is normal if the battery goes dead and that will happen if the synth isn't plugged in every year or so. If the battery was dead, the synth will copy one sample patch to all patch locations. This is why all the patches sound the same. You can never recover your modified patches unless you saved them on a computer as a sysex. However, as TausendAugen posted, you can reset them back to factory new condition.
Hi, I have a Kawai K1 ii with all the factory patches on it, and I was wondering how I could save these patches and download new patches to my synth. I have no idea how to do this so any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
