I find it hard to use any gun besides hellshock. I keep farming for other guns I see recommended but unless it's a fight where you really need corrosive, I just don't see anything else holding a candle to it.
i dont have any of the DLC but the hellshock pistol literally carried me through the game with Zane because the clone also got one, it switches between shock and fire so it can melt shields then melt people
I don't know if katagawa jr is bugged or what but I can take him down in about 5 seconds at the beginning of the fight with either the kaoson or sand hawk. Seems like whenever his shields are gone he automatically dies without any or much damage to his red health.
for Tediore guns with variable reloads, the best reload to get is 1 where it explodes and then mirvs into 4 homing grenades. combined with the 2 ammo per shot variant this will empty the mag fast and spam explosions for maximum damage. With the right anointment this can be a truly evil combo on any tediore gun. On a good Tediore gun its extremely OP.
You need to make a part 2 asap, the buffed Hellshock and theBeacon need some love. Hell, both can melt just as good if not better than the gargoyle and the flipper. Like seriously, the Beacon comes in all the elements, has higher splash damage and has a 25k variant (granted that it is rare and for some reason most of the ones dropping are in the 14-20k range)
@@IcyTechNique It's a Maliwan pistol from the new DLC. It's essentially a different take on the Hellshock. You need to fast travel to Bloodsun Canyon - Presentation Room, go up the elevator with the fancy wall and there's a mini boss called Jerrick Logan in one of the nearby rooms.
The first of the new weapons I found was the Flipper... and it has been a godsend. That thing chews through enemies like a skag through a skull. The version I got was Incendiary/Radiation, but I usually leave it on Radiation. Now, if I could only get a better anointment for it...
It's a sick weapon! I've gotta shock/radiation version that I used exclusively for the Quartermaster fight until the last phase and then my OPQ carried me rest of way, that gun still wrecks at level 57!!
It's bull, it may work for everyone else but it doesn't do anything on mayhem 10 my monarch is level 60 mayhem 10 does 4143 x 4 it just doesn't work for me I gotta tick away at even a tink reloading 10 times to kill anyone and I'm using moze damage build, am I doing something wrong?
@@shanedonaldson4587 dude wth? Are your modifiers shitting on you or something? Monarch should wreck 10/10 times also with moze use the monarch with the mindsweeper com it turns bipod mode into a whole different beast (just be careful of the blast radius)
It's hard for me to find builds with my characters. Then earlier today, I used Moze's Iron Bear on Cpt. Traunt with Mind Sweeper and... well, easy grind now.
Right now the root is glitched. It will randomly cause an explosion right on top of you even if you're shooting at someone from a distance. I thought my build was wrong until joltz mentioned it on his channel

The thing about BL3 is now every character has a top ten . I think Robins Call is top 10 for Flak . The dowsing rod with stackbot and pearl , build your perks up then release the grenade . I’ve done up to 10 million damage . Could you do a top 10 for each character please .
There’s a Jakob’s assault rifle that released with the new dlc and I got a masher version of it. I couldn’t believe it cause I haven’t gotten any legendary mashers other than Maggie which is a masher normally that doesn’t say it.

I see you had The Sandhawk and Lob... those are probably my #11 and #12. Honestly Hellshock might get bumped from my list since the Beacon can be a slightly better Hellshock. I hate using the Anarchy so I didn’t include that even though it is extremely powerful. Great list!
I tried farming backburner. Took about 40 min to kill the boss that drops it (was doing it on m10) only to get green and purple loot. At that point , I was like: f* this shit, not doing that silly fight again.
Marcin Stangel - Jeez... you gotta get some better gear. That fight should take less than a minute. A corrosive Cutsman work well. The Complex Root should also take down Agonizer quickly. Are you on PS4?
I found a pistol recently "Expert Hellshock" (has fire / shock elemental effect (you can switch between)). I find it extremely good in m10 against mobs. Runs out of ammo quick. But seems to do a lot of damage with the Amara's elemental ricochet build (whatever is that called).
Was playing the new DLC (just started), and got bucketloads of new op legendary guns, including The Root - this thing is just ridiculous. Went to test it on my nemesis - the m10 Agoniser 9000 )was struggling with it previously). Using Anara's : Ties that Bind on trash and killing trash with the Root, melted not just trash but also the boss itself. It was mental, how trivial this boss suddenly became. ;)
Oof! Might wanna farm a random location...like slaughter shaft to level up first before jumping into the dlc. That's what I do, so all the weapons drop on level.
Krakatoa with a splash damage Moze is an insane weapon. Especially for mobs. I can shoot into a large mob and kill one and the splash damage from the spawned volcano will wipe out multiple other mobs with each kill spawning its own volcano and setting up a chain reaction.
But like I have some of these and you are dealing waayyyy more damage and mine are 60 m10 with decent annointmesn so wtf I needa get my amara leveled up
Amara has serious damage potential, makes her a lot of fun. Make sure you're specced into indiscriminate and are consistently proccing your action skill end anointments.
I also didn't feel like it does anything for my Zane. Then I got one with sntl cryo annointment and gave it a try. It melts everything... Just make sure you don't switch weapons, don't reload manually and you'll kill everything in two shots top.

Hellshock is a staple at this point. If the hell shock didn't get nerfed there is no point in talking about it because it is still so good.
Hellshock and or Beacon are never not in my loadout anymore. It's the other 2 or 3 guns I switch up here and there.

Yeah, after you break his shield the damage will go through and deal massive damage. One recursion round is all you need.
I can one shot him with the Storm, even if you miss the orbs drain his shield like nothing.
Dude hitting him right at the start with one recursion shot and then watching him die 5 seconds later is amazing

I play Amara (the ricochet build) and I have Expert Hellshock (which btw dropped from a locker in a town LOL! ), it's crazy how much damage it does.

The Kaoson with Moze is hard to beat. The Flipper does more damage if you're close enough to land all the projectiles.

True Hunter mode . Or play with a new character on a different account and just do the dlc get the pearl and trade yourself. I’ve got 4 of them
You can also reset your story progress in menu when starting a game, then pass dlc 2 again and youll get up to date reward for lvl 60

Tried the Root sniper and it was underwhelming ... the only weapon from the DLC that can keep up with OPQ and Kaoson is the Gargoyle
kaoson sucks compared to root
Try using the complex root with an artifact, which gives you extra splash damage... but be careful - I don't know if it's a bug, but it's crazy ;-)

Lobs I've seen come between 28k-40k base damage. 40k cryo lob is the strongest I've gotten.

I still use my 2 versions. 22 mag with 1% increase in dmg per hit until you miss, and a scope. 28 mag with no scope.

Use a phasezerker build that’s what I use on my amara and I insta kill 90% of enemies and destroy bosses.
I feel the list is rather bias considering most of the weapons you showed are elemental and tou play amara, but great vidoe nonetheless!
