Definitely check more Jack Stauber stuff I really like: "Opal", its a creepy distorted story of a little girl "Hamantha", it's a creepy distorted story of a little ham girl "Lime Bean Man", it's a creepy story of a little guy The majority of his youtube stuff is basically micro stories that looks like a metaphor for some dark stuff with some minute songs, some of this songs got a full lenght after Edit: Just be sure to be in a good place before watching those
Super glad to see this today!! Jack Stauber (you're saying his last name right) is an indie pop musician from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I'm pretty sure he started making music at 14 years old, and released his 1st album "Finite Form" at 16. I do think I could've worded my description of the song better, maybe by saying it was only _slightly_ darker sounding than his usual work. His visual work is incredible in my opinion. I'm pretty sure he made a clay model of a body and used it for that shot in the chorus. Lots of his animations are meant to be a little unnerving. There are a couple professionally recorded live videos of him. I'd suggest "Me Night" at Mobile Mystery Lab for his signature vocal shenanigans, though you won't get much instrument-wise. He's a lot more of a pop musician I guess. Glad you enjoyed it!
His best vids are all like this but are all under about 1 min, heres a list of some of my favorite mini pops. “Two time” “Keyman” “New normal” “Fighter” “Shattered molars.”
Jack Stauber's micropop tends to have even darker subject matter. A clear example is "Dinner is not over" (ruclips.net/video/AUAVzOeejhg/видео.htmlfeature=shared). That being said, Jack's "Gettin' my mom on" is on the sillier side and it has such a funky vibe™.
Ayyyyyyy, Jack's stuff is wild. His adult swim special Opal is an experience

I'd like to point out that the Total Recall face was clearly huffing silver spray paint.
I highly recommend giving Obsession by thornhill a listen! or Arkangel, both songs are amazing and I think you'd love the band
