I how exactly what you mean. My mom cooked alot when i was young married woman and in those days i wasn't really into cooking. My husband did most of the cooking. Now i am doing alot more but my mom don't cook all the recipes she used to. Her cooking style has changed alot. I can still get the basic recipe from her then customize them a bit.
