I absolutely love the blue ring, the crescent moon brooch, the Wedgewood necklace, the brooch with the pearls & leaves, the locket & especially the long glass cube & blk beads !!! Absolutely Gorgeous !!! Loved watching your videos !!! ❤️🙂
You have some beautiful pieces! I can tell you about the 1969 Wedgwood cameo. The subject is the goddess Hebe, one of Zeus's daughters. It was her job to be cup bearer to the gods. In this image, she is offering Ambrosia to her father Zeus, who is appearing in eagle form. This was a popular subject in Victorian art.
@@Dana-KillerQueenAntiqueJewelry yes Dana, thanks to you, I have a very beautiful Hebe cameo! I always get compliments when I wear her, which is often 💖
Thank you so much!! That is exactly the information that I love to learn about. I knew it was a scene from mythology. Thanks for sharing and for watching! ❤️❤️
I absolutely love the beautiful mourning brooches! And the Zuni necklace is gorgeous! I'm so happy to hear that you don't sell your stunning collection. I wouldn't want to sell any of them either! 💜😘🇭🇲
Thank you for sharing these wonderful finds. I love the Iris glass brooch and the enameled bow shaped brooch especially. The mourning cameo seems really special as well!
Love the opal ring! I also really like that you usually say what you paid for each piece, it's always interesting to hear as a hobbyst collector :) So exciting that you got yourself a presidium!
Hello! Love your videos!! The goddess holding a peacock is Hera the wife of Zeus king of the Greek gods. Zeus cheated on her a lot! So she used the hundred (eyes) on the feathers of the bird to spy on him!!😂 Really enjoyed your collection, I too don’t sell my jewelry, just enjoy sharing.. you have fabulous eye for beauty!!❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Sylvia!! I need to brush up on my mythology so I can better recognize these pieces. I appreciate the helpful info! Such an interesting story. Thank you for the kind words and for watching! ❤❤❤
Always love to see your videos. Missed you. Happy New Year! I really like the cameos. I bought a slightly broken Art Deco cameo and found out when I got it home that the brooch was 14K gold. I don't mind if they have some small issues. I will wear the brooch anyway.
Do you wear all these pieces or just collect them? I’d be interested to know how you style them with your Tiffany jewellery too. Do you find they can complement each other? 💎 💕 🙏
Both!! I do wear a lot of them. There are some pieces that I display and collect but don't really wear. Mainly fragile items and very old antique pieces that I am afraid of damaging. :) I do style the vintage/antique with Tiffany- a lot of Tiffany designs have very clean lines/simple designs so I find that they can mix in with more interesting antique items pretty well. That would be a really fun video idea to show some styling!! Thanks for the idea and thanks for watching! ❤️❤️❤️
The bracelet is beautiful but hopefully it's NOT Ivory, as it is illegal to buy it! It can be inherited but not sold. Last I read anyhow, beautiful either way.
Yes! It was sold to me as bone.. but I really think it is just resin made to look like ivory/bone material. Unfortunately I do come across Ivory items in jewelry lots from time to time. I just store them in a box because I feel they shouldn't be thrown away -but not sure what to do with them. Thanks for watching!! ❤️❤️❤️
Unless it’s changed recently, you can sell ivory if it’s older than 100 years. That being said I I respect people that don’t sell it, because that indirectly makes the sale of ivory old or not increase. :(
Beautiful pieces!! I love antiques! The first brooch you took at the end it seems to be Art Deco style . So pretty! All of them! 💖💖
Thank you so much! ❤️ I think you are right on the Art Deco brooch. I wasn’t totally sure on style- but it sure is beautiful! Thanks for watching! 😊
I absolutely love the blue ring, the crescent moon brooch, the Wedgewood necklace, the brooch with the pearls & leaves, the locket & especially the long glass cube & blk beads !!! Absolutely Gorgeous !!! Loved watching your videos !!! ❤️🙂
Beautiful items! That IS a peacock on the cameo. I collect peacocks - they always have that “topknot”. ❤
Oh thank you!! Appreciate the confirmation. I’ll have to remember the topknot! 😊Thanks for watching!❤️❤️
It's the goddess Juno/Hera (wife of Jupiter/Zeus) depicted in that cameo, you can tell because she is holding a peacock and a sceptre.
Thank you! It is a beautiful image- great to know what it actually depicts. @elspethdawitch

@@LittleBlueJewelryBox I actually don’t wear them much. Let me know if you would be interested.
The cameo with woman who is holding the peacock, that would be Hera, wife of Zeus.

This is a Great show and tell❤ look at Jason Adams it might be helpful to you and exciting.
Thank you so much. I love Jason’s channel- I am subscribed and his collection is AMAZING! ❤️❤️❤️
I believe the cameo white bracelet with beads. I think it might be 19th century celluloid.
Thank you for showing us these beautiful pieces. Just curious if you tested the amethyst glass.
It looks so real.
Nice 🎉😊
Happy New Year. Great pieces
