  • The ASU Core Research Facilities house state-of-the-art equipment, including the Bruker Ascend 500 MHz NMR.
The Ascend 500 is an automated 1D and 2D Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, or NMR, tool used in experiments that serve synthetic chemists in organic, inorganic and polymer chemistry and material science. This instrument determines atomic level structure and quantification (purity) of soluble molecules. The NMR probe is broad banded permitting NMR investigations involving virtually all NMR active nuclei. Minimal user input is required so data collection can be performed by non-experts.
As a research institution, ASU is at the forefront of innovation. Powerful equipment like the Bruker Ascend 500 MHz NMR allows ASU to continue to advance research.
