Thanks for doing this video. I went and got the CGS Mod 9 and I couldn't be happier. I didn't care about the size at all other than the performance. And the CGS Mod 9 doesn't disappoint at all. It is quiet for its size and I'm happy. Thanks again.
Thanks for the video!!! These are the exact 2 supps that I'm considering buying. I just needed to narrow it down to one. Thanks! ...and thanks for not talking over your shooting like other idiot YT do when they do a supp video.
Rugged tone is better, mod 9 is more high pitched. But it will very gun to gun and ammo which is used. I say go with the cheaper option of the two. I'm going with the mod 9 just because it had dimples on it, too match the sig zev p226.
Thats funny, to me on my speaker it sounds like the Mod-9 has a half-step lower tone. I bought the Mod-9 because Rugged did not bother to bring a pistol to the event where I shot both and CGS had theirs on a Staccato. So far I'm happy. FWIW, With identical ammo, the CGS has no FRP where the Obsidian 45 does have.

Rugged has one of the best warranties in the business… no questions asked and a 2 business day turnaround from the time it hits their shop.
Mod 9 sounds quieter to me. Which do you prefer?
Both sound great with the host in the video I preferred the rugged’s Tone
I didn't realize 165 gr sub was so quiet still
