Dude it is, in my oppinion, the best way to play FO4. 4's not a great Fallout game, but this mod turns it into something magical! ...Admitedly, it's more like H.P Lovecraft's magic then say, Harry Potter, but magical none the less!
@@matthewyeldig4608 I'll be honest, I tried to play this well before Tomato did either very early this year or the last, and while I absolutely adored the atmosphere, everything else felt kind of like it was crammed together from disparate parts, and the harry mason knockoff having terrible writing really kind of set a bad tone for me. And frankly, there are too many enemies too much of the time. And they can show up in places the game tells you are safe inexplicably. I'd probably adore it if that terrible writing was cut out and the enemies didn't like, beeline it to/near you at a constant stream. The sheer variety of the enemies (even if a lot are yoinked from silent hill) would be SUPER COOL if you weren't exposed to like, twenty different kinds of dude before you even reach the red rocket.

It adds a sense that Hell has come for Massachusetts. (A feeling I assume many Massachusians feel daly.) But I understand whay this might be seen as a bad thing.
boston,2024 we were all wrong. After the great election, the USA fell apart,and everyone who could,left boston to live a better life far away in hartford or concord. some even went tot he paradise philadelphia. only tomato,his family and the nightmares unleashed from his colon remained in the state
the horrible damage balance between enemies doesn’t help, having some HUGE MAN that can die in one hit, and does barely any damage, right next to a tiny fucking barely noticable spider that can 2 shot you before you even see it.
I had a dream where I played skyrim again, now this is making me want to play fallout again, and then the lack of space on my PC makes me sadge. Also, the Silent Hill music gives me a nostalgia high.
It's been a while since a Fallout 4 stream, honestly as much as the Fo4 modding community has been going down the pipes, there are some fantastic mods for it. The overhauls such as GRIM, Whispering Hills, FROST, Lunar, Horizon, and probably more absolutely breath life into the game I'd long would've abandoned. I hope he does another stream of this.
Well this modpack rips its aesthetic entirely from silent hill, even including a silent hill dlc size quest, but the gameplay of silent hill is entirely different from this evil blunt fallout 4, so I don't really know

I like horror games, but once you die 20 times to the same encounter, the atmosphere is ruined imo
