If you look at it and slow it down it TECHNICALLY was a travel but people literally travel like that all the time in these 1v1s lol. If or you watch the way players pivot once they actually have the ball, you’ll see that their pivot foots really be floating 😂

This was one of the best refs I’ve seen. Called enough to let the players know I’m not letting that slide but didn’t call every single tik tack foul either. Dudes in the comments always crying about the refs but notice Tae stopped complaining and hooped because he knew what it was.

Tae seems to be an incredible at blocking jump shots every time I see him play. He legit had like 10 blocks this game

Tae already has game but him being taller and stronger made it tough for Fredo who just didn’t take advantage of attacking the top foot to open up space which Tae was using to his advantage on D. The defense from Fredo was shaky but idk why they were letting him get that stiff arm and the 2-hands on the drive off. Great bump tho 💯💯💯

Waiting on this fr. Fredo was the only one from Friga's "Game Season 2" that looked like he could hang with the 1st season group. But he got injured in the 1st round (and STILL won his 1). This guy is tough.

Fredo hesitated too much. He anticipated all the pump fakes because it was obvious. Worst mistake to make when facing somebody taller. Get to your spots and go with your move.
That’s the difference between NBA players. It’s easy for someone watching to criticize that aren’t playing. That confidence comes with repetition and knowing your next move is going to create space. Baron Davis, Billups, and AI have all talked about how they were so smart they could look at defenders feet/hips and know what move they had to use to get space. Again it’s easier to be a sideline “coach” so I don’t necessarily fault Fredo.
@@jamesonedwardsii4943 for sure, but I’m saying this as somebody who played varsity as a freshman standing 5’7. I hoop fr, that’s why I’m able to spot it. If you notice, all of Fredo’s points came from him doing exactly what I stated he should’ve did.
The refs lol. Check ball and Fredo immediately slaps/ fouls Taes arm most plays, gets no call. Same ref calls a bunch of travels that weren’t travels lol. Even if he thought they were slightly, what a hell of a swing in the type of calls he’s making lol.
The funniest part is when Fredo tells ref he’s not accepting the foul call and they give him the ball 😂😂😂

Honestly it looked liked Tae’s length really bothered fredo. Fredo is so used to using his height to shoot over defenders and Tae showed him pretty early on that it wasn’t finna go that way. Fredo attempted that same step out shot at least 5 times, he needed another tool in his kit.
Also the ref was actually very fair for this run.

Fredo stays fouling every defensive possession. I hate watching him play... I've watched 2 of his 1 v 1's and both times he hugging and keeps his hands on the offensive player and pushes them constantly... If the refs called every foul he would never get an offensive possession. I respect everyone's game and he can ball there's no denying that. Just isn't my favorite for sure.
