Winter Park Ski Resort Colorado 12/10/2022

It's a beautiful bluebird day at Winter Park Ski Resort in Colorado. Lots of happy, eager faces as the lifts start up and distribute the skiers and riders across the mountain. There is a lot of terrain open in the early season. The slopes are perfectly groomed with some powder stashes for the more adventurous.

Small world I was on the mountain that day too! It was a couple great bluebird days in a row with some nice fresh snow heading into the 13th.

Hello did you drive there or catch the train? My trip is the end of the month and the train is sold out to winter park on the day that I'm visiting.

How do the drives from Denver Airport to Copper vs Winter Park compare?

Copper is straight off I-70 @ 1.5 hrs, very easy and manageable, Winter Park is a little shorter drive, more winding roads and highways towards the latter 1/4 end of the drive. Obviously, both recommend 4WD/AWD vehicles.
