"There Must Be an Angel (Playing with My Heart)" is a song by the British musical duo Eurythmics, released as the second single from their fifth studio album, Be Yourself Tonight (1985). It features a harmonica solo by American musician Stevie Wonder. The song became a worldwide success; most notably in Ireland, Norway and the United Kingdom, where it remains the duo's only chart-topper.
The song has been covered by several musical artists, including Brittany Murphy, Fantastic Plastic Machine, Leningrad Cowboys, Luciano Pavarotti, Kylie Minogue, Jessica G. Pilnäs and, most noticeably, German girl group No Angels, who scored their second number-one single in Austria and Germany with their rendition for the reissue of their album Elle'ments in August 2001.

Love Eurythmics! Annie Lennox is one of the great voices of all time and Dave Stewart is a amazing producer and musician. And it's amazing that Stevie Wonder played the harmonica in the song too.
You're amazing, that absolutely is Stevie Wonder on the harmonica! This is a favorite of mine to get into a good mood and just sit in wonder at the vocal rollercoaster Annie is on! The song went to number one in several countries around the world but stalled out at #22 here in the U.S. and never charted on the R&B charts. I think their record label was just bad at promotion.
I don't think the U.S. liked 80s Brit Pop. They actually refused to let Annie Lennox into the country without her taking a blood test to prove she was a woman.
I will never understand how this didn't break into at LEAST the Top 20 in the U.S. As many of other Eurythmics singles as well.

This song was the second single of thier album ''Be Yourself Tonight'', after ''Would I Lie to You!''. Stevie Wonder played the harmonica in this song. This album was huge and the three first singles remains very iconic. The three first singles did very well in Europe, like in US, with ''Would I Lie to You'' (n.17 UK, n.5 US), ''There Must Be An Angel'' (n.1 UK, n.22 US) and ''Sisters are Doin' It For Themselves'' (n.9 UK, n.18 US) and all remains very popular back then in 1985. The last single of the album ''It's Alright'' was a hit in Europe, but didn't do well at all in US.

@@HaydenRUclips Hi Hayden, you're right too!! Anyway I've noticed that some reactors try to use some tricks to avoid the block. Someone Is blocking the video quite often, and someone makes some scenes unfocused. So I think there are some ways to solve or to reduce the problem. It would be interesting to understand why some video are immediately blocked and others not, even if you don't use any technique to avoid the block 🤔🤔 Empress has discussed about this matter in a Q&A video. Anyway it's a mess 😅
