My settings for tweaked 4 3 linear. Deadzone 4 Response 1 Yaw 220 Pitch 180 Extra yaw 220 Extra pitch 120 Ads yaw 125 Ads pitch 110 Ads extra yaw 120 Ads extra pitch 80 I find these super snappy but also very stable when strafing and hipfiring.
Honestly none of that matters at high level knowing how every gun shoots and how to manipulate it slightly to shoot where you want it to is most important once I learned that I'll beam on any setting

Honestly bro, I've been having a rough 2 seasons. Switching mains, overthinking, trying to find the right controller settings...etc. I've tried a lot of tutorials and nothing seemed to work until now. These controller settings fit my play style and absolutely BEAAAMMM. I'm feeling so much more confident and balanced with my gunplay and gun choices. I honestly was gonna give up on the game until now. It's CRRRAZZY how much a little bit of fine tuning can change your ENTIRE game. Seriously!!!
I feel a lot comfortable with a response curve of 6 it helps me a lot with recoil control and i don't lose aim assist as much with a repsonse curve of 0. It's just a personal preference that i found

Also, condolences for your grandmother, may her soul rest in peace PS Outer Threshold feels better on 3% because you are hitting the threshold to ramp to max speed a little bit sooner. You aren't flicking your stick to its limit just to turn fast, it kicks in slightly further from the edge. It's like a reverse deadzone for your acceleration
3:34 "Button Hints does not matter" I strongly recommend having it ON if you're playing BR mode with friends or BR ranked, because it will add a helpful icon hint to items your teammates NEED for upgrading e.g. if they have blue mag and you see a purple mag, it'll have an icon showing a raised hand. This system also saves you from needlessly pinging stuff they don't need (so in the example, if they have purple mag already then the icon wouldn't show up.) If you're strictly playing solo or on playlists that don't rely on upgrades (TDM/Control/etc.) then you may opt to keep it OFF to reduce visual clutter just a little bit more.
I agree that hold to reload and tap to use is much better but i was constantly having issues with trying to reload while behind someones knockdown shield. Pulls you into revive animation.
Maybe turn around when reloading behind shield? I'm not sure it would work but there are a lot of situations in games where looking away changes input priority

I am 0 dead zone, 5 response curve 110-135 ads. I used to play linear until Evan on tsm pointed out that linear causes you to overshoot and undershoot a lot. I knew 0 recoil control so on linear it made me think i knew how to control guns because they were smoother. After learning recoil control, recoil combinations. cheat codes within the stick. I then noticed that you can 1 clip on linear or classic or anything in between. This helped me realize like district says that there is NO perfect setting. And it is why all pros argue over classic and linear. Classic is like a built in dead zone. turn dead zone off turn response all the way up and notice how now you don't have stick drift. lower it and watch more stick drift cone into play.
i'll have to watch this later. I play on Bumper Jumper settings, as that's what i did when halo 2 and 3 were competitive. Do you have settings for that?
Just watched the video and so far I'm really liking the higher sense. I did have a question though about the tap/hold to interact or reload. Have you ever heard anything from the Devs about them adding a prioritize setting, where you can keep both on tap, but then if you're say at a door, you can prioritize reload, so it would change to hold to open the door, tap to reload, or vice versa if you had prioritize interact. MW2019 did this and it was super helpful back in my warzone days, and I think it'd fix a ton of the issues Controller players have with reloading behind doors.
@@awakendgaming Yeah, ik that. I was asking since District has some contact with devs if it's possible to implement something where you can choose which to prioritize. So essentially, tap for both, but if you're in a situation where there's an interact, I was using doors for an example but really any interact (and to pick the interact if there's more than one, just looking at the correct one), and a reload opportunity, then there's an option... You can either tap to reload, hold to interact, or tap to interact and hold to reload. I know it generally has less things going on than Apex, but Warzone 1 did this and it worked super well, and I think it'd be an awesome feature for Apex.

I've always played apex with tap to reload, and even before I switched to apex a few months ago, on warzone it was tap for everything, but prioritize reload... I tried it after watching this video bc it's obviously the best option, but I just keep getting fucked in fights bc I don't do it right and am always out of ammo😂😂... Don't get me wrong I ik it's a skill issue, but I feel like there should 100% be a prioritize button.

i play with LB as crouch on hold, and RB is jump. means you can have any movement tech going whilst having full control of your aim and movement sticks.
When it comes to stick height, would you recommend switching from tall to short? I use Kontrolfreeks, and have always used a tall one on my right stick.
No. Taller is better. Obviously not too tall. It really depends on the length of ur thumb. However taller than stock stick height is better for aiming.

I usually play high sensitivity and have been trying to find a good sensitivity for myself for a few days but nothing feels good to use. This is honestly why i haven't ever been able to stick with the game. I come back every couple of seasons (since season 2) and stop playing after a few games bc the game just doesn't feel right sensitivity wise
I use the razor wolverine v2 on ps5 , here’s a tip.. it has 15 dead zone built in(which is terrible) but u can just put your dead zone on 0 in game and it works

as much as i hate configs/scripts and things that cut corners, when it comes to being able to tap strafe on controller i feel configs are a must strictly for movement/tap strafing. id like to see a vid on that and how to set them up and how to tap strafe
Go to alc controls turn on per optics then change everything to 3.2 . Now leave per optics on but turn off custom look controls. The per optic will save and overwrite your aim settings but you have to turn off the regular per optics settings that are not in alc. then change your sensitivity to 4-1. These settings are 100x better then any alc settings by a long way don’t even try me.
Maybe I miss something in the video, but how he does slide jump while holding Y and press A to jump. Not to mention that his right hand is controlling R3. How to do all the actions with one hand?

Side note. Get a controller like the 8bit Ultimate that uses the Gullikit thumbsticks. NO STICKDRIFT EVER. It uses magnetized hardware.

He mapped the back buttons on his controller to the face buttons so he doesn’t have to take thumbs off the sticks.

2 options: be gentle in the transition, or just go straight to hardmode and learn to git gud thru lots of practice.
Are you saying it's spinning around on it's own? If so that means you have stick drift, and need to increase your deadzone settings until it stops
