Driving Tour of Atlantic Blvd (From Commerce to Monterey Park) [4K]

Commerce is a city located in southeast Los Angeles County, California, United States. It is usually referred to as the "City of Commerce" to distinguish it from the common noun. It is bordered by Vernon on the west, Los Angeles on the northwest, East Los Angeles on the north, Montebello on the east, Downey and Bell Gardens on the south, and Maywood on the southwest.
Determined to avoid the higher property taxes annexation to any neighboring city might bring, a hardy band of residents and business leaders set out in 1959 to incorporate the City of Commerce as the 67th city in Los Angeles County. On the low hills to the east of downtown Los Angeles, these volunteers proclaimed their intention to establish a model city with unique advantages for industry and residents alike.
Today (five decades after incorporation), Commerce is a dynamic city, which has effectively recycled old heavy industrial sites with high technology, office, warehouse and retail use. The city has exceptional recreation and social service programs and provides superior-quality public safety, transportation, and community development services to all residents and businesses located in the city while cultivating a unique small-town ambiance enjoyed by all of its citizens.
Monterey Park is a city located in the western San Gabriel Valley region of Los Angeles County, California in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, United States, approximately seven miles (11 km) from the Downtown Los Angeles civic center. The city's motto is "Pride in the past, Faith in the future". Monterey Park is part of a cluster of cities with a growing Asian American population. Monterey Park has consistently ranked as one of the country's best places to live due to its good schools, growing economy, and central location.
