Let me clear 2 things for people who are confused lol 1 - Diluc was NOT alive nor existed during the time the tyrant ruled old Mondstadt (Stormterror's lair), It's probably one of his ancestors. 2 - The little "abyss mage" was Venti. That was his original form, he was originally just a little anemo orb.
Venti’s true form is so adorable but I feel so sorry for his friend :( It makes his death line “oh no...my lyre...is...broken...” so much more sad then it already is knowing that it was Venti’s friend’s lyre.
Just a not so friendly reminder: Venti's friend never got to see what he fought for. He never got to see the birds soar, he never got to see what life was like outside the barrier. :(

(godammit, i forgot the city's name, i will fix later) happened 26 centuries ago (2600 years) while the destruction of the Lumine/Aether's world happens 500 years old i guess, so mage abyss was not a thing until in the present (in game's lore), sorry for my long text, my bad english, and most mistakes in the game's lore...

For what we've seen in the game so far Monstandt is really an important place based on the lore and many SUS characters ( Venti, Kaeya, Albedo,etc..) and yeah I think Diluc is really a special character considering his lore and backstory. I really wish we can get a glimpse of the Archon War or the Cataclysm more cause I'm soo invested for the lore in this game.

This lack of candidates vying for the seat among the Seven meant that Barbatos was the only one who "won" the battle for the title. He took on the appearance of his dead friend in order to honor him and became one of the Seven. In this form he is called Venti (meaning wind). He appointed lesser deities as protectors of the land, calling them the Four Winds, which includes Andrius, Dvalin, and later on Venessa I think.
this is the only time in a whooole game when I wanted Paimon to shush it, idk, that seemed so personal yet Venti and Paimon don't really get along so well. I'm glad traveler sends her away after venti tells his story but it still felt weird when she was there. "oh paimon remembers, it's called the storm terror's lair now! :) " pleeeaaaase it's like the game telling you "here's a little recap of what you've learned if you did not care to listen before :) " ,

people misunderstood Decarabian, he only had the barrier around old mondstadt because he was at conflict with andrius, andrius was threatening old mondstadt with snow so decarabian formed the barrier to protect the citizens, however people misunderstood this action as one of a tyrant's thus the rebellion formed and respecting his people's wish to be free, allowed the rebellion to kill him

Vanessa was the Head of the Knights of Favonious before Jean. I doubt shes in the era when Venti became Archon.
