I’m from SEA, would often bike/trail run at Point Defiance in Tacoma. Recently moved to Nashville; enjoyed this little trip home P.S. roadtrip with my eMTB in an old VW bus for the move; explored every city I stopped in by ebike, it was great fun!
Definitely be cool to see what your trails were like over there! All I watch for really is love the ride around video's! I've got my emtb bosch full suspension 7k bike so these are not my kinda bikes but the video's are awesome!
grinn your in a city, just not LA :) Tac has some great things to do & see. [about 400 miles from here] for some more fun rides, hikes, views, go out the peninsula & the farther out the better it gets. Sequim, Port townsend, Port Angleous on up to the park area & Be wowed on hurricane ridge! look one way & mt Olympus w/glaciers - look North into Canada [Victoria - I have family there] and when you go to Victoria? take an ebike as there are some super things to do & see around there too. LA has some fun stuff, But in the PNW there is a different range of things to do & see. uh Stop signs? we dont need those on every street. some ppl are nice & know how to yield :)
What's with these brake cut off sensors they are on that baffang motor to not a thing we have on emtbs likes bosch etc that would be a hindrance for sure!
Good it's a 15x110mm boost through axel can get good set suspension forks on it later if need be! I've seen this bike on these trails with a friend and these shocks stuck down into the tyre completely failed so be carful! They do say not for trail riding or something but it was similar fireworks n 2ft jump the gave way on! He did get a new bike out it and they took it back to see what went wrong so they upheld the warranty!
Its intended to be a hybrid bike with an MTB chasis and wheels for excellent handling. Perfect for rough urban commuting involving plenty of potholes, bumps and bunny hopping off sidewalk curbs if necessary, not for off-road trail bombing! Its powered by a hub drive motor for a reason...
STOP CALLING THIS A MOUNTAIN BIKE FFS The one guy who broke his fork after four small jumps got a reply from Velotric admitting this is 'more of a trekking bike'. IT IS NOT A FFIN MOUNTAINBIKE.
ha ha I see your point and agree :) the city folk have a different definition of whats a mountain lol some go across a lawn and call it off road [yup kind a funny - I smile] my ebikes advertised as off road too, but thats a flat landers POV ;) it does a grassy flat filed "ok" so to them, that is off road :o for city trails [like in this vid] are ok for these ebikes, just dont jump dem roots, rock as the ebike just isnt designed for real trails. But in its purposed path it does well :) be a good ebike for park roads n trails. just dont jump a curb and your ebike will be fine. there are ebikes that "can" do that, just research before you buy. My next [well additional] ebike will be for mountain roads & some trails [within reason] IMO an ebike just hast been made that will go where my dirt bikes take me, Im aware of that. and one day I will find it :) until then . . . I walk or ride the ATV or dirt bike [Ive not skills to be a real mtn biker] it sure is fun to watch those that can do that tho.
Its a hybrid bike with an MTB chassis and wheels for excellent handling in rough urban environments, especially in snowy and slippery conditions. Perfect for dealing with plenty of potholes, bumps and occasionally bunny hopping off sidewalk curbs if necessary, not for off-road trail bombing! The hub drive motor should give gullible people a clue...
@@bellyacres7846 Ow yeah this is an excellent commuter bike, it will handle potholes a bit better then having no suspension at all. And yeah, you got wide tires so you should have some grip 'off road'. But even a real mountainbike from decades ago with it's measly 80-100mm travel and 'narrow' 2.05 - 2.20 tires, will not break if I take it on trail right now. I'm so sick of the deceptive marketing, it's like taking some sedan, take the rear doors off call it a sportscar kind of thing. No, this doesn't have the parts to call it a mountainbike. In fact I would call it even a dangerous misrepresentation. The factory supplied brakes are great... for commute and XC use... on not to heavy bikes. Not knocking on those mt200's I have them to, great XC brakes. But for a bike weighing as heavy as that, and calling it a mountainbike... I wouldn't want to do a downhill section, I know those brakes will start to fade real quick. If people want a capable real and affordable emtb, buy a Polygon T6 slap a tsdz8 and a framepack on it. Boom, capable real mountainbike with real reliable not going to break and have manufacturers claim 'ow it's not a real mountainbike, sorry' ... and with the DIY motor you get way more power with a much better delivery... this thing has a freaking hub motor ffs, mountainbikes do not have hub motors PERIOD.

FIRST! Will be my very first e-bike ever this coming winter!
Perfect step up over my Apollo Go electric scooter in every way, shape and form!
26:13 would've been fatal for an electric scooter!
Happened to somebody already!
Perfect reason for me to upgrade to this bike this coming winter!

The funny thing is no squirrels crossed him trying to delete themselves while he was in the woods 😆

And now you are a mountain biker 😜
I like these traveling videos. You should do more. You could probably write off all the expenses on your taxes as well. 😅

your elevation changes were actually less numerous and less drastic than where I live. Not sure why my city has such fucked up hills rofl.
