Ok, so best way to level up would be by capturing 10 of each Pal. You get massive permanent scaling bonuses for each set of 10 Pals of the same species that you capture. The best way to accomplish that would be by collecting all of the Lifmunk statues and max out your Statue of Power capturing stat, the sooner you do this the easier it will be to capture higher rarity Pals.

I really don't see a reason to do this, mainly because if you immediately do that, you'll hit max level way too fast & end up with nothing to do pretty fast

@RaifuEnthusiast I don't think this is correct. I've been playing since launch day, and I'm still only level 43 with 60 hours into the game. It takes a LONG time to get a level after 35 or so. There is plenty to do in the game currently before you run out of content. I know you might think this due to seeing other streamers literally max out the settings and finish all the content in a few days, but with default settings, it will take you a couple weeks to get there with the comment I made.

The level 11 Chillet boss is a good early pickup. It's a really nice land mount and hits like a truck, I've kept it in my lineup since the beginning. Also... it's ridiculously adorable.

As a heads up, at about 23:33 the sound of a Lucky pal spawned nearby started playing in the background as you were capping the Caprity. Lucky pals are this game's equivalent of a shiny, and are not only larger, but also come with a random high-powered skill. Always try to seek these out, as they could provide your team with an unexpected power boost.

    Pal tip here:
You can breed an anubis at about lvl 23ish if you defeat and capture a Bushi and breed it with the penking. Its one of the strongest pals and a lvl 47 boss.
    Pro tip:
You can breed that anubis with a vanwyrm for a faleris and its probably the best flyer in the game.

Eikthydeer is one of the best early land mounts to have as it can damage pals simply by running into them and if it has the passive skill Swift, nimble, or runner it’ll have increased movement speed (all of said skills can stack for insane movement speed). Lifmunk effigies are essential for capturing power to make it easier to get powerful pals and easier to find at night. Some good early pals for your base/farms would be Lifmunk, Penking, Arsox, Tombat, Pengullet, Lamball/Cremis, Vixy…The latter three are for the ranch to gather free materials.

Not dying: Some pets heal you with F. Early game is the lamb I believe, Petalia for mid, etc.
Leveling: Finish the catch ten quest for each type. It's very effective!
Pals: Look into what it takes to breed an Anubis. He's extremely versatile for base farming and fights and breeds into a lot of higher pals.
Base spots: Save yourself headache and build on an isolated plateau that has no entry points. Raids are glitchy and unpredictable. Also be sure to build the base you plan to stand around in atop an iron ore cluster. Pals are more active where you are and late game remains very ore hungry.
Effigies are currently bugged. Spending your points make capture worse. 😅

    Ok.
Best way to level you the player is catching Pals.
The best way to level your Pals is boss fights either world bosses or dungeon bosses.
Capturing the purple Elk early and crafting its saddle is a huge early game boon as you can just run stuff over and throw balls at them.
The boar is a great early game miner it is its only job so it will focus mining.
Killamari is an excellent low level transporter for bases it has level 2 transporting it is its only skill in so it will focus it and they are nocturnal so they dont require sleep think of them like a base Roomba always cleaning. you can find them in dungeons and at night in the over world.

A few quick tips from someone who's 100% the game currently:
Use the different power fruit, they respawn so you can always get more.
I slot the most powerful attacks on the pets with the long cooldowns, I watch for when they cast all 3 skills and then throw out someone else and just keep cycling.
Basic firearms are pretty sad. Your pets do all the damage until you get legendary firearm blueprints later.
Any pet you can ride - when I start a fight I stay mounted and throw all 3 skills then hop off, they immediately have their skills back to use on there own.
Tons more but I don't want to write a book. If anyone has questions please ask and I'll do my best to answer.

2 things, 1) noticed you have level up points to use on your HP, STAM, ATTACK, WEIGHT the whole video 2) you can deconstruct the walls that are on fire and get back 100% of the mats used to build it effectively putting out the fire and saving the mats needed for rebuilding

From what I've heard Normal and Dark/Fire pals are the strongest types. The best way to level is to do the challenge to get 10/10 pals captured as it grants a huge amount of extra XP. It's also worth checking your Pal's occasionally as they have a bad habit of running outside your gate then not being able to get back in. I'd keep your multiple Pal's as you can combine multiples to make your favourites stronger.

During Nighttime, near your base, you can find Tombats. These pals can also mine ore and never need sleep. Daedream can also be found in that area and also never need sleep. For gliding find a Galeclaw, it's much better then any glider you can build (need the glove for it though Lvl23).

  • @malguskerensky

Couple of hints - Raids can be disabled as they still seem to be imbalanced, Combat revolves around the Pals; you pick the right elements to use in each battle to ensure victory. Pals will do the tanking and usually most of the damage, you need to manage them and capture pals. Each element/damage type has a counter in the wild. I would recommend making sure to space things out at your base or the pal pathing can work against you. Lastly look over your Pals at the base, there are indicators what they can do (farming, mining, etc) and you want to balance which Pals are assigned to tasks. One more tip, some Pals can be a secondary pet while you are in the field, to give you more damage; as you catch them a necklace will appear in the technology tree.

There is a guide in your journal that tells you what pal type is good against another pal type. Also swapping pals out during boss fights, next... I know there is alot to this game... when trying to capture other pals pull the pal you placed out to help fight back in their sphere that way they can't attack and kill the pal you're trying to capture. 10 pals of the same kind gives you xp boost, use your flyer at night and go find all green looking things... they help with pal capture percentage. Whew that was a ton lol

Early vid recommendation: For your iron farming base, only use penkings for water. They will water and mine so no need to double up. I believe Dinossom should be good for planting and i think does wood too. Get a few that have transporting as they will take the goods to the box for you so you can just pop in to make ingots and roll out. And of course a fire for the ingots.
For what pals to bring with you is 100% up to you. As you get ancient tech points you get the ability to merge multiple copies into 1 to power it up. And early pals good to consider for that as its faster to get them early on. Also look st the weakness table in the survival menu. Weakness typing helps DRAMATICALLY in fights.
Also if you can find Vixy i think they are called, put them in a ranch to ramp your arrows, pal sphere and coinage!

Levelling is all about getting 10 of each captured, avoid the Digitoi that everyone else uses for mining, it's terrible. Once you can breed get a celeray and a (~20) Relaxaurus to get an Anubus. Once you've got a couple Anubus then worry about getting them with good traights

  • @dfl8rms
    @dfl8rms 4 месяца назад

Early game - like everyone said, capture 10x of each pal to max out the bonus XP, to level faster and unlock the technology needed to expand your base. Some other tips I've used:
    - Get Vixy's for your Ranch - they dig up level 1 spheres, arrows, and gold coins in the ranch - an easy way to get 100+ palspheres.
    - Get your wheat plantation and mill going.
    - I personally like to breed my way to better base Pals. -- Anubis for level 4 handiwork and level 3 mining (one possible method here is a Relaxaurus + celaray), for cooking pot/furnace - Faleris ( Anubis + vanrym is again one possible combination), for planting/harvesting - either Petallia ( rushhoar + Nitewing) or Lyleen (Petallia + Mossandra) and then a dedicated water pal. Tombat is also another early game miner that works well. -- for your fire pal - use the highest level fire pal at your mining base or cooking. If going the route of breeding, you need other Pals - the cow, chicken, and a source of honey in your ranch along with a highly skilled fire pal to cook the cakes faster.
    - For going about exploring - I tended to keep the same pals in my inventory - ones that either had good Pal Skills (ie huggy fire or lifmunk submachine gun) that I could use to get potential captures down to the level I needed without using a ton of arrows. Or use the powerful ones and command them to not attack once they have the capture target to low health - this allows them to still soak damage giving you an opportunity to position the pal you are to capture so its back is to you and you get the bonus capture probability.
    - Egg hatching - skirting the desert / volcano to try to get large / huge eggs. (I also made sure in settings the egg hatch interval was 1).
    - last and most importantly - do what you find fun.
Regarding bases - level 15 will get you the third base, but as you verbalized, that's a ways off. I'd look at moving your starter base temporarily to the mining base and then placing your new "primary" base where you want to using what you've learned one pathing and layout. (I also usually carry enough material for a 2x2 foundation area to put down before I actually place my pal box so I can then expand a level base for all my storage etc. (craft metal chests at the mining base - start tearing down your current starter base, use the grapping gun to pull yourself to the pal box if overloaded and drop materials off in the mining base - rinse repeat until you can delete your original pal box)

When trying to capture any Pal always put away your attacking Pal when the targeted Pal that you want to capture hp gets low. Pay close attention to how much damage your doing and how much hp the pal has, in between capture attempts 1 tap with the bow to get the pals hp as low as possible.

Surfent is another good one for your party, since you have one. They can go over water without using stamina, increasing your exploration range, and while riding them they have some very nice distance attacks that are often better than your arrows.

Carry weight boosting pals. Cattiva gives you a 50, kingpaca gives you 100, lunaris I think is 80....but, you can stack it. Use this team to transport between mine base and main base. I would use a base for breeding and farming, one for mining and then a main. I try to put my secondary bases in un-raidable locations so that I can really put my defenses to the test and not worry about messing up my supply lines. I won't give away good base locations though my friend. You gotta explore for it.

I've already seen people mentioning that you should focus on capturing 10 of each pal. That does wonders for your level.
My two favorite pals are the direhowl as a very fast land mount once you get the saddle, and the celeray as a very effective glider once you get the gloves (way faster and more stamina efficient than the glider your using, but you need to have a celeray on your team).

Foxparks flamethrower is pretty strong at lower levels. Just have to make the gloves to be able to carry him. Chillet is available as a level 11 boss near your first base. Great pal I’m still using in the 40’s and a decent mount. Lifmunk’s smg is very strong. And Fuack is one that most people sleep on. His ability is a body slam that does tons of damage. Hope that helps!

you might want to take a peek at the survival guide ingame that tells you a good amount of info how stuff works. Also for pals to bring with you direhowl and any flier, direhowl with saddle is fast and good for dungeons as it is small enough to move about in them. Also before you go into dungeons /caves they will tell you a level of the place you stand still just outside it and look at it.

Another bit of info a lot of people have missed: you can assign pals from your party to work at your base just by throwing their sphere at what you want them to work on. Work priorities and pathing are still an issue this early into development, but if you need help crafting and other pals are busy, have a handiwork pal in your inventory like incineram or penking and throw them at the bench to have them help you!

You need to select the guide then look for elements. Screen shot the element table and when you have the right element pal the bosses are easy. You don’t need to fight just dodge around while your pal gets them low enough to capture. Once you use the element guide the game gets much easier. I’m level 29 now and the pals get much larger and cool. The turtle in the desert is best miner. Get 10 of them (extra buff for 10). Hope that helps

    My personal Team setup:
    - Galeclaw for gliding (preferably with Speed Skills)
    - A Flyer (Nitewing -> Vanwyrm -> Helzephyr -> Faleris) (preferably with Speed Skills) I normally only breed for Speedy Faleris
    - A Ground Ride (Eikthyer -> Wolf -> Rayhound -> Fenglope) (preferably with Speed Skills)
    - A Healer (Teafant -> Lyleen)
    - A Fighter, Incineram is a good pick
Sometimes Loot Increase Pals like Pengking, Orserk or Faleris
Base Pals to breed ASAP for (as already mentioned here a lot)
    - Anubis (Top Priority), they make mining so much easier and is a key Pal for further breeding
    - from Anubis to Faleris (Tier 3 Kindling (Cakes!) and Transport)
    - Verdash (later mixed in a Lyleen) for Planting and Gathering
    - Jormuntide (get a Relaxasaurus for that ASAP) for Watering Tier 4 (though Azurobe or Surfent might suffice for starters)
My Bases have about up to 10 Anubis, 2-3 Faleris (later Blazamut and/or Jormuntide Ignis) and a Rayhound for Electricity. Some Verdash, Jormuntide if Farms are present. I always have some ore present and have other stuff at the first floor. I use one base for Ore, Farming and Breeding, the other one for Ore and Crafting.

  • @alielaur
    @alielaur 4 месяца назад

For your team, pay attention to your pal’s abilities. Some of them power up a pals of a specific type, or a specific pal. Example: Swee and Sweepa. If you want a powerful pal for early-ish game, nab a Sweepa and a full team of Swees because a Sweepa is stronger for each Swee in your team. It’s kinda boring imo, but with the right passive abilities, you can just plow through most fights.
Personally, I love the designs of the dark pals, so I guess for the time I’m a ‘dark trainer’ or whatever 😂? So, I have a Hoocrates, who increases the attack of dark pals in the party, but also can carry his own for a while in combat. Vanwyrm for flight and comes with some good fire moves against grass pals, and while mounted, effective moves have added damage (so, headshots). Maraith as a ground mount I’m using because her design is one of my favorites in the game. Her single jump is nearly a double jump, and they are also on par with gliding - which compensates for her not being the fastest. While riding, it applies dark damage to your attacks which is helpful in fighting common pals. Finally, two Daedreams. With Daedream (also Dazzi and maybe some others pals of different elements?) they will stay out with their necklace and fight alongside you while being impervious to damage. Granted, this is only one default move - a ranged dark attack. You can throw them out to fight, and my Daedreams do great damage, but don’t have the best HP so I usually don’t unless someone else is getting a rest. (If a pal’s HP is low, call them back before they are knocked out and they will heal! Given they are fed, anyway.)
This is just my current party makeup, all are easily obtained before level 15 except for Maraith. I got her in an egg. Before that, I was using Incineram Noct, (the dark variant of what you are using) who also came from an egg. Just look at the abilities of the pals and pick the ones that suit your play style. If you like mounted combat, pick something like Vanwyrm who gives you extra damage while mounted. If you like the fire pals, build a party of fire pals and add a Rooby. Catch everything not only for the xp, but to fill your paldeck and look at these abilities.
Ultimately, this game is so popular not because it’s ‘the best’, but because it’s really, truly fun. So… HAVE FUN! 😁

And funnily enough one of my most powerful pals is a Fuack i picked up early (The tiny blue duck like things) . He has the Musclehead passive and i gave him a couple good fruits i found. Hes a beast.

The Tocotoco raid is the one I hate the most. Those colorful bastards are built for one thing: blowing themselves up. Hell, if you hatch one, the only move it knows by default is "Implode", Palworld's equivalent of the Pokemon move Self-Destruct. When it comes to base fires, while I've been lucky enough to never have my base catch fire so far, some research into it has shown me that at present the most effective way to combat it is to outright demolish the burning pieces before the fire spreads.
As for tips on levelling, catching and killing Pals is certainly the easiest way to gain exp, especially if you aim for catching ten members of a species (like ten Lamball for example). Any extras or those with traits you don't want (like "Destructive", which causes their sanity to drop 15% faster, or "Bottomless Stomach", which is the same for their hunger) should be sold to Pal merchants or the Black Marketeers. Both types of Pal traders will buy any Pals - and any captured humans as well. From what I've seen in my own game, the Pals Vixy, Mau, and Mau Cryst are the best in a ranch if you want money, as the Mau and their Cryst variant (an ice type) exclusively produce gold, while Vixy (an adorable little pup) digs up gold, arrows, and regular Pal Spheres. Having a Vixy or two in a ranch (which can hold up to four Pals with the "Farming" skill, the little fence icon at the end of the list) end up digging up enough spheres that you can save your Paldium fragments for the stronger sphere types.
The Skill Fruits that teach moves are a precious resource, yes, but the beautiful thing is that they seem (from my own experimentation) to be able to teach their designated move to _any_ Pal. There's also over three hundred Lifmunk Effigy collectables in the game apparently, so while collecting those would be a boon to increasing your catching efficiency, it's one hell of an egg-hunt to do. And as for guns, I got lucky and when exploring the volcanic mountain in the west (Mount Obsidian, I think it's called), I found a village on the southern shoreline that had at least three different merchants (haven't explored the whole place yet), and one of them at the time was selling a scrapmetal pistol (forget it's actual in-game name at the moment). It's kinda expensive to repair for me, as one requirement for repairs on it is High-Quality Pal Oil, but as I'm at least twenty levels away from unlocking it in the skill tree, it was a massive boon. It's damage output seems to be roughly on par with the basic crossbow (a bit higher, but not like the jump from the 3-shot bow to the crossbow), but the fact that I can shoot six times before reloading is good, and it's actually what helped me take out an actively hostile Pal that snuck up on me in an area where things were about ten levels above me.
And as for Pals to have on hand (sorry for the jumbled ramblings, brain jumps around a lot at times), You've got several Pals I don't (like Incineram), so I can't say one way or the other on them. However, I'm personally a sucker for the cuter ones. I have a Dazzi and Flambelle on my team (both hatched from eggs), and they are surprisingly effective. My Dazzi hits like a bus, and after pumping up her stats a few times by feeding Pal Souls to the Statue Of Power, she can tank pretty well, too. I also have a Jolthog Cryst on my team, and it's special ability (once you unlock the gloves for it in the tech tree) let you throw it like a grenade. I also have a Vanwyrm I rescued from the Free Pal jerks, and without the forced level-synch that happens to Pals higher level than you that you own, Vanwyrm is my strongest Pal, being level 26 when I freed her, and I think she's Lv29 now. Dazzi's my next strongest at Lv23 before level-synch. So, if you ever get one of these Pals of your own, I think they'll be very helpful.

I want to start by saying your original video turned me on to palworld and now I have 100 hours into it. So thank you ❤. My only real advice for you early game is to get tons of ore. You're jot going to have a lot of great options for automation at your current level other than tomcats found at night and rushoars. They are the brown pigs you can ride and charge at ore to manually farm ore quickly. You can party up with 4 cativa to help your max carry weight and 1 rush ore and go farm.

I didnt finish my thought. You want all this ore to craft a ton of higher tiered balls to help you level. You want to catch 10 of everything you're capable of catching to power level.

    Get them Pals!
Heads up you can right click to instant transfer between inventories, also pressing R autostacks so you don't have to drag things across.
Also selling Pals is good and all but try keep some with no passives or good passives for breeding later.
As always love your content! Keep up the great work.

Bonus exp from capturing helps leveling a lot. It's also scaled to your level, not the level of creatures you capture. So getting low leveled ones isn't a waste. Later on killing random dungeon bosses yield way more xp than any capture.

Basically in the beninging i used Eikthdeer + Nightwing to travel all over the place, the other 3 palls were basically cannon fodder, but having good travelling mounts i really handy, you can find a lot of chests all over the place that give you goodies + Riding a mount while fighting gives you more health to spare because they hit your mount instead of you. Also for early game finding some Vixies and putting them in Pal pens will give you tons of goodies like Pal spheres, arrows and even some gold! (There's so much more dude it's unbelievable) Would have to write a whole essay.

The whole point is having your pals do the heavy lifting, riding a pal makes it easier to hit both of you, instead of the pal distracting while you stay safe, & swapping it out for another pal when it's low

Basicly i just fast capture 10 of the same pals for the bonus EXP they give, it's a good way to level up quickely.
Also "Sealed arena bosses" are not that important imo, Dungeons (the dark caves u saw) on the other hand can give Skill fruits to teach to your Pals and sometimes they can give Weapon reices for better quality ones that are available on the tech tree.
I got an Uncommon tier Hand gun recipe before i was able to unlock it in the tech tree, tho i needed to get ammo for it from cindicate member cause the ammo for it it lock behind tech.

Eikthyrdeer/Eikthyrdeer Terra with swift is best early game to late game, it can double jump which is great, try to have a variety of element pals on your team, as your pals lvl up they learn to attacks, you can switch their attacks in their info screen.
you will need allot and i mean allot of ingots late game so putting a base were these are no ore nodes will hurt you allot.
feed your pals jam filled buns, berries alone are insufficient.
    wixen are great workers
you really need to recall you pal when your target has low HP ...all your doing is getting your target killed
lvl weight to 1k, stam to 200 and the rest into HP, all other stats are useless
