The thing with the graduation system for Dream was that SM expected they would have younger trainees they could debut, but if we look at the ages of the SM Rookies we got introduced to then their trainees were around the same ages as the graduating Dream members (Shohei was the oldest Rookie and 96 liner, and everyone else was 2000-2004), so the graduation system wasn't gonna work out, it was a good idea tho. Also they didn't anticipate that Dream would become so popular that fans were so attached to the lineup that they were petitioning to cancel the concept and keep them all together.
Yess and it wasn’t going to help the fact that after mark graduated four members out of the 7 were going to graduate too (in case the graduating system would have stayed) so that would’ve leave the group with only TWO members and taking into consideration what you said it would have been a whole mess. The infinite members thing isn't quite new. For example there's a legendary Jpop girl group called AKB48 (2005-present) that currently has 44 members that has a similar concept of constantly adding more members and expanding their market. Kpop was historically based on Jpop, so I'm sure AKB48 was an inspiration for SM. And Dream's graduation concept also isn't new. Best example I can think of is the iconic Puerto Rican boy band Menudo (1977-present) that has had around 46 members so far. They keep the members young while 'graduating' the older guys. Fun fact: Ricky Martin (if you know him) started off in Menudo!
Xiaojun, Doyoung, and Chenle were each showcased on Lee Mujin Service. They were a great showcase of their vocals. That can be for later though...when you guys have gotten to know the groups!
for variety shows, I would recommend NCT World 2.0 which had all the members present at the time (23 members) for individual units : fill it up for 127 7illin in the dream for Dream dream plan for wayv

NCT is one of those groups that have a very large discography, but the music is genuinely really good. with nct 127, most people start off with their ‘Cherry bomb’ or ‘limitless’ EP’s. they are one of units that release a lot of full albums too, ‘2 baddies’ is my personal favorite. for nct dream, I would recommend the ‘we go up’ and ‘hot sauce’ albums (glitch mode is my personal favorite tho 🤞🏾) for wayv, I recommend the ‘take over the moon’. dojaejung only currently have their debut EP ‘perfume’ that is also very good. nct u also put out full albums too. it’s really fun diving into nct music. I say take ur time as it’s so much it can be a tad overwhelming sometimes 😭

I do remember hearing about NCT Hollywood and NCT Japan but the NCT Hollywood never happened even though there were talks of it. The newest NCT subunit NCT Wish is actually their NCT Japan group. Lol I think it is their Japanese subunit. I don’t know much about it though because they did recently debut.
