I could tell that he was Korean by his accent but when he started with the: lah, meh, sial and all that I was actually thinking whether he was mixed Malaysian lmao
I have different opinion on these issues actually. 1. Malaysians tend to like those who have fairer skins compared to those who are tanned. It can be different for guys though, cuz guys may look good in tanned skins.. 2. We have mak cik bawang here.. but we dont usually talk about people’s face, but some people get their body shapes criticised a lot.. but this usually happens among close friends or relatives only la for joking purposes.. no random people will come to you and say that you’re fat or what.. but kids might get bullied in schools for being fat.. but this is not common 3. Won’t touch on the education system, but it can be better.. but Korea’s education system looks like a torture.. how can a young teenager stay at school from early in the morning till late at night.. we do that as well, since we have to go to the morning school, religious school, n tuitions at night.. but we’d still come back at home between those periods.. 4. Malaysians are against LGBT since we’re an Islamic country. However, we don’t mind if u keep it to urself, but openly promoting it, is a BIG NO.. like if you wanna be gay, just be lah.. but it’s better if you can change, but don’t force everyone to accept you for being gay.. even most gay people in Malaysia are against those protestors who want Malaysians to openly accept the LGBT culture, since we know it is not right to do so.. but it doesnt mean that people will bully you for being gay.. but just don’t do it openly 5. Manglish. Mm.. if u stay further in rural areas, and u speak in English, people might give a weird look.. especially if u speak in english between people with the same race.. it’s better to speak in our own mothertounge.. that’s what most people think.. that’s the same thing for me as well when I was still young, n i stayed at kampung.. when KL folks came back to the kampung n use ‘i u i u’ , i’d feel like they’re being arrogant.. u’re at kampung, so speak ur native tounge lah! That’s what I thought.. but now, I’m already working in KL, n I use ‘i u’ most of the time in my conversations.. lol.. n people around me tend to get annoyed with my so-called british accent as well.. hahaha.. but yeah.. it’s a good thing if u can speak fluent english.. but some people will give u that weird stare if u speak in english in rural areas.. but they wont judge u.. it’s just a bit uncommon i’d say.. but still, it’s ok cuz most Malaysians can speak and understand basic english..
Yes...for no 4, me personally...i dont discriminate friends who i know is LGBT, but I am opposed to people who wants them to be publicly embraced an accepted....and make it legal....for instance, make same sex legal, changing ones biological gender in official documents.
All those 5 points u said are true. I also have some gay friends, as long as they keep it to their selves and doesn't cross the line. I dont mind.. But if possible.. I hope they can go back to human nature of man and woman like how it supposed to be

General knowledge and philosophy taught in schools is amazing. While I want Malaysia to learn about saving the environment from Korea! Malaysia never actually taught the people how to recycle, reuse, reduce until recently about reducing the use of straws to save the turtles! Other than that, nothing so much change maybe some restaurants/shops started using paper bags or biodegradable plastics and that's just it
actually there are some school in malaysia that have extra classes till 10 or i can say 10.30 pm(week days only or if we're nearing our exam they will take our weekends and public holiday too). my school did those extra classes (focused on Form 3 and 5 as they'll sit for PT3 and SPM). for me, i think it is necessary to do that because students these days get lazier and lazier in studying (including me LOL). at least the teachers can prevent them from failing any subjects.

The best education stamps from a lil bit of Korean education system (KES) and a lil bit of Malaysian education system (MES) . Korean education is more intense and Malaysia's education is more chilled. In Korea, students take extra curricular lessons. In Malaysia we have extra curricular activities where we join clubs and play games, sport etc depending on the clubs you join. Of course we have additional private lessons outside of school but it is subjected to the student. Not everyone goes for private lessons anyways but it seems to me that in Korea, most of the parents are forcing their children to go to private academies and cram school during school break whereas for us, we go vacation or have fun during our breaks. MES allows students to be more creative but we lack discipline. As such, we tend to procrastinate a lot even with time. We would often say we are otw but actually we are still at home. In contrast, KES produces students who are more discipline and productive because they have so many exams they need to pass. However, students do not have any time for their own self development so students who arent interested in having a career as a doctor, lawyer, engineer etc will have a hard time figuring what they want for their future because all their lifes, it has only been school and textbooks. So what Eumi said was right. Both education system lacks in their own ways
I truly appreciate on your comment! I have read your opinion from start to end! and I totally agree with your opinion YES Me & Eumi believes that KES & MES has contrasting characteristic! And True that both educatio system need in 'Balance' I personally want KES to have more activity sections to grow social ability for students in Korea!!! What i felt from MES were students are quite pro-active on their activity that Students in Korea!
@@malibirdtv9549 i was thinking if oppa would even read since i wrote so long 😂 i guess this is why most Korean and Japanese who ends up studying in Malaysia likes it better here because of how chill and proactive we are in club activities and such because it was highly emphasised by our government that these skills we get through all these activities would help us in our future career because companies are looking for people who are proactive
Thanks for your positive view about our beloved country. Hope you enjoy staying here. For the LGBT point, as a Malaysian, I'm also glad that the acceptance for LGBT group is quite huge in Malaysia. However, the percentage of the population to be pro and anti LGBT are still around 50%-50%. Most non-Muslims and moderate Muslims here are okay with LGBT group. Meanwhile conservative Muslims+Catholic+villagers are saying Nay for it. Despite all these, there are quite number of LGBT (especially transgenders) have been succeed and become public figures in the country. It's not impossible to see transgender being very famous businessmen, actors, politicians (even the number is decreasing), and even activists. What i can say here is the equal numbers of the pro and anti LGBT (liberal vs conservative) in this country have made our sosial system balance. I wish there will be no more Islamophobia, no more homophobia, no more inequality exist in any countries in the world 😊 . All humans deserve love

For education system actually students in Malaysia attended at least 2 type of schools and tuition at night.. 7am-1pm - regular school, 1-5 pm religion school, night most of the have tuition at night 8pm-10pm. And for Malaysian parents if you are not in a science stream, you are a bad student.
@@malibirdtv9549 its true that in malaysia students from science school or science students will look high, good and clever.. and they will receive special treatment at the school compared to students from other classes..😅
MaliBird TV yup..if you are not from the science stream class then you are not that “successful “. So from our childhood they wanted us to be either doctor, lawyer or engineer.. if not these three they will say “dulu taknak belajar rajin-rajin”.
Science stream students choose according to the malaysia official exam's result with better/good scores. Science stream students are smarter according to results during my time😊. Art scream students is not 'BAD'student and not all parents will think this way nowsaday. As for non-muslim student only need to attend 1 regular school either morning section or afternoon section but some student will attend tuition after school.
As a Malaysian living in Korea for 5years I think you really got a good point on LGBT! Especially the covid-19 cases happened last few weeks in Itaewon.. got my attention on the LGBT prob(?) in Korea. I think most people in Malaysia do respect them as a person and a citizen of the country ( I think is because we live in a multiracial country so we are used to accept the differences between people), however here in Korea people still talk about them as a rubbish.. or monster.. or a patient with mental sickness that should be kill for good😳 which is quite shocked as we are now living in 2020.. just hope that someday they will like to talk about it instead of making hate speech🤐 Besides, I think education in Malaysia really got a huge gap regarding which school you study in, which is quite sad.. However, kids in Korea really need to study very very very~~ hard to get into a good university.. and that’s not the end of it.. fresh graduates here are also facing high unemployment prob too😭 Korean need to go for charity work, take exchange student course overseas and take part in a lot of exam to get some ’license’ in order to get a job(or fail to get a job)...🧐 therefore.. yes, Korea is a good country that let me have chances to learn new stuff and Malaysia, a place where I grew up without a lot of stress 😂 영상 재밌게 봤습니다!! 화이팅입니다! 🥳

I heard Korea has a very high rate of suicide especially among students, just like in Japan and to some extent, Singapore. Is it true, and does it have to do with over emphasis on education especially science and mathematics?
I could tell that he was Korean by his accent but when he started with the: lah, meh, sial and all that I was actually thinking whether he was mixed Malaysian lmao
Maybe,,, call me Koreisian hahaha?
I have different opinion on these issues actually.
1. Malaysians tend to like those who have fairer skins compared to those who are tanned. It can be different for guys though, cuz guys may look good in tanned skins..
2. We have mak cik bawang here.. but we dont usually talk about people’s face, but some people get their body shapes criticised a lot.. but this usually happens among close friends or relatives only la for joking purposes.. no random people will come to you and say that you’re fat or what.. but kids might get bullied in schools for being fat.. but this is not common
However, we don’t mind if u keep it to urself, but openly promoting it, is a BIG NO.. like if you wanna be gay, just be lah.. but it’s better if you can change, but don’t force everyone to accept you for being gay.. even most gay people in Malaysia are against those protestors who want Malaysians to openly accept the LGBT culture, since we know it is not right to do so.. but it doesnt mean that people will bully you for being gay.. but just don’t do it openly
5. Manglish. Mm.. if u stay further in rural areas, and u speak in English, people might give a weird look.. especially if u speak in english between people with the same race.. it’s better to speak in our own mothertounge.. that’s what most people think.. that’s the same thing for me as well when I was still young, n i stayed at kampung.. when KL folks came back to the kampung n use ‘i u i u’ , i’d feel like they’re being arrogant.. u’re at kampung, so speak ur native tounge lah!
Ikmal Hariz totally agree with no 4..
I hope they can go back to human nature of man and woman like how it supposed to be
Ikmal Hariz Truly appreciated in your comment!

The true scenario about LGBT according Malaysia laws is people have their freedom to express their identity/personality/gender through looks, fashion, lifestyle & daily conversations. But for me when I was a student, I loved my extra curricular activities over studying and I skip classes just to enter school tournaments 😂

actually there are some school in malaysia that have extra classes till 10 or i can say 10.30 pm(week days only or if we're nearing our exam they will take our weekends and public holiday too). my school did those extra classes (focused on Form 3 and 5 as they'll sit for PT3 and SPM). for me, i think it is necessary to do that because students these days get lazier and lazier in studying (including me LOL). at least the teachers can prevent them from failing any subjects.

I have read your opinion from start to end! and I totally agree with your opinion
YES Me & Eumi believes that KES & MES has contrasting characteristic!
And True that both educatio system need in 'Balance'
I personally want KES to have more activity sections to grow social ability for students in Korea!!!
Simple is beautiful

Ohhh... yea I heard about this as well like
is it true that Malaysia parents want their child to study engineering & Science background???
I think most people in Malaysia do respect them as a person and a citizen of the country ( I think is because we live in a multiracial country so we are used to accept the differences between people), however here in Korea people still talk about them as a rubbish.. or monster.. or a patient with mental sickness that should be kill for good😳 which is quite shocked as we are now living in 2020.. just hope that someday they will like to talk about it instead of making hate speech🤐
Besides, I think education in Malaysia really got a huge gap regarding which school you study in, which is quite sad.. However, kids in Korea really need to study very very very~~ hard to get into a good university.. and that’s not the end of it.. fresh graduates here are also facing high unemployment prob too😭 Korean need to go for charity work, take exchange student course overseas and take part in a lot of exam to get some ’license’ in order to get a job(or fail to get a job)...🧐 therefore.. yes, Korea is a good country that let me have chances to learn new stuff and Malaysia, a place where I grew up without a lot of stress 😂
