Just finished my theory test(May 2023) and secured 44 out 45 in it.. I would like to suggest everyone to read the handbook properly and line by line.. u can go for solving mcqs on websites as practice ONLY. Mcqs Will NEVER be the same nor tricky if u read the handbook line by line at least once.. also, don't just focus on the signs... keep knowledge of basic things like what should you check first when an electrical system is not working? Ans: Fuse... and lane questions like who should u give way on roundabout? (Traffic from left side) or when is it permissible to keep your hazards on? Options: in fog, in rain or during heavy traffic.. etc.. read the handbook.. good luck

I passed my exam yesterday (June 23) there were only few question abt sings
Some examples are
1) police man signs
2) roundabout indicator while entering and going straight
3) exhaust system catalyic convert use
4) sign of no u turn
5) if you want to turn left in 3 lane road which road you will use
6) on highway if somebody wants to overtake what will you do ans- overspeed
educe Speed
7) if you are dazzled due to approaching vehicle what to do ans- reduce speed adjust mirror
8) children sign
9) if bus dropping children flashlight on what you will do - ans wait and have patience stop your car
10) min speed on freeway ans 60 km/hr
11) 3 second rule
12) emergency vehicle what to do
13) if another driver is rude what will you do ans have patience
14) flashing amber light for ans - warn the driver
15) if you see white continue line ans you must not overtake
16) you must signal when ans all of above
17) where you can not park ans - inside the tunnel

Hi all,
I wrote my test yesterday, and as others have mentioned, the videos on YT are definitely not enough if not misleading. I made the stupid mistake of relying on RTA videos for AD test (not one question came from those videos and I wasted my time, those videos are relevant for Dubai NOT AD). Some in YT comments helped to refer back to the booklet and hence I am responding if this can help others.
You need to go through the booklet properly page by page. Unfortunately, Abu Dhabi theory exam has a lot of theory/factual questions that you need to memorize (One Q was on full form of ABS, you can imagine the rest).
Some questions on breaking system, aquaplaning, fogs, what to do in an accident, roundabout rules, color of a particular type of sign, order of traffic precedence, use of hazard lights, and some questions on lanes. Only one question on signs. You have to respond to 45 questions in 35 minutes. The trick is to finish the questions within the first 15-20mins and then revise. I got 40/45. Hopefully it works out for you.

Read signs, road marking purpose, , one way two way trafic control, aquaplanning, use of lights and hazard lights, situation when camel or animal crossing, car loading, car transmission system, baby seats, seat belts, car insurance tenure, roundabout, turns(rught left and u). What u can not do on motorway( no stopping, reverse.. Read more from book about it) current speeds like motorway speed 140. Speed in urban /rural freeways, speed in parking. Cover whole book and these topics if u go for abu dhabhi test.

@@walterramos5001 no dear, i have given exam from al ain abu debi region and only 2 question were from signs. All theory basis from book. Go through book. I have read book twice and got licence in 1st attempt. Only book will guide you properly. I have failed theory in 1st attempt because i followed utube videos. But 2nd attempt cleared because of book. So read book as much as possible. Red highlighted box in book support u more. If u need my help u can msg me. I will guide u more. No issue.
