It's very atmospheric, the voices are clear and play with each other! They play together, and the surround sounds of the voices are also very good, the voices are really atmospheric....... All sounds are very natural and captured.....But in a way that doesn't distort and doesn't wash nothing......Amazing...!!!!! Congratulations on your persistence!!!! Gusztávius
Thank you for videos and quality content you post. You inspired me also to build Lumine, waiting for parts already. I highly appreciate your skills and competent approach of building audio equipment.
Great components and very nice craftsmanship. Two suggestions: 1. the woofer opening should be chamfered from behind it will have more room to breathe and will have less compression and reflections. the crossover components are very nice and very large - they take lot of room in the enclosure - not sure if accounted for and also these will reflect sound back to the cone of the mid-bass. Placing the the large crossover out of the box will give you more space to treat the cabinet acoustically. Good luck mate!
I appreciate your two wonderful suggestions. I will support them altogether. Although the internal volume of the enclosure is optimized, the problem of vibration remains. I should further optimize the flow of the air flow including the port. You are a wonderful friend for me. I respect your advanced knowledge. Good luck master!
Nice work. Two questions; Would not those big capacitors and other crossover components decrease significantly the internal box volume? Did you use any stuffing or filling inside the cabinet and how much? Thanks

Thank you for videos and quality content you post. I also decided to build speakers like this. I found drawings where the outer dimensions of the speakers are 7 * 13.5 * 9.5 inches. But nowhere can I find the thickness of the wall and front panel. Please quote these measurements when using American walnut. Sincerely
www.madisound.com/pdf/Lumine1cabinetdrawing.pdf There are three things you should consider: 1: Volume of X-OVER parts 2: Standing wave 3: Internal volume Assuming that the thickness of the board is 18 mm. In DIY, the influence of the installation environment, baffle step compensation, and volume of parts is larger, so such an assumption is acceptable. By the way, I extended the box in the depth direction.
@@seaslyd Thank You for your prompt and detailed reply. It just seemed to me in your video that the thickness of the side walls is quite large, about 30 mm. and since this is pure wood (not MDF) I decided it was intentional to reduce resonance. Ok, then I will build the front wall 35 mm the other 20 mm. Do You think it will be okay? And by the way, how much did You increase the depth?
The low frequency characteristic depends only on the internal volume. Therefore, increase the depth direction so that the internal volume increases by the same amount as the volume of the X-OVER PARTS you use. Use the simulation app to observe how the volume changes and how the low frequency characteristics change accordingly. You already know the T.S. parameters required for it.

Great speakers and terrific job building these speakers. I’m puzzled by the parts you use for the crossover. You use more parts than on the drawing. I like vekry much to duplicate these speakers. Could you please provide the changed drawing of the crossover an list of parts of this crossover?
Antiresonance occurs when low ESR capacitors are connected in parallel. However, X-OVER does not output that frequency band. Connecting very small capacitors of polystyrene or polycarbonate in parallel produces a fascinating sound.
Thanks for your response! The smallest capacitors look alike but are they the same? Could you please specify the ones which are used here? Partly this is visable in the video, partly not!
Thanks again for your quick response! I’m beginning to get the picture: In the Tweeter circuit 3 capacitors are used parallel. 1: Clarity Cap 12 MFD, 2: ERO MKP 1832 0.47 MFD, 3: one of the 2 small copper foil capacitors (the one with the text SG2B 152J); In the woofer circuit also 3 capacitors are used parallel: 1: West Cap C 45805 12 MFD, 2: ERO MKC 1860 0,47 MFD, 3 the other copper foil capacitor (the one with unreadable text). Is this correct sofar? Can you tell me which copper foil capacitor is used in the tweeter circuit and which in the woofer circuit?
That is one extraordinary crossover! The build quality here is to be commended. Bravo!

www.6moons.com/audioreviews/sonics/argenta.html
www.geocities.jp/info_rakugakusha/Eigen_3.html
