You guys need to promote this channel more. Millions of fans of college athletics and this video only has 791 views despite being up for 13 hours. I have learned SO MUCH from these videos and I look forward to them every week! I would love to see more people benefit from all the work that goes into making them.
The NCAA's desire to drag out the full game longer and longer for commercials with the "2 minute timeout", and yet limit the length of something exciting like overtime is absurd. These videos are great none the less. They should play them at halftime at games.
The rules committee is made up of coaches on a rotating basis, not the "NCAA." The committee is who decides the OT and other rules. In terms of commercials, that is based on TV contracts signed with (mostly) conferences.
It makes no sense to have a 2 minute timeout while also stopping the clock on first downs inside of two minutes. It’s bush league garbage from a clueless rules committee
The replay system has made the sport unwatchable. Games are CONSTANTLY stopped to review an insignificant play or innocuous tackle for targeting. Fans aren’t paying to watch an official stare at a monitor all game!
@ncaaresources Would love an explanation for the waived off targeting in the Bama Vandy game that resulted in a player being injured for the remainder of the game.
Your overtime rules are idiotic. There should never be more than one overtime. Whoever gets the ball second should have to play for the win. Start the first possession at the 40 then second team to possess the ball has to play for the win

Great videos. I especially appreciate the zero tolerance for brandishing a weapon.

The 2 minute timeout doesn't add an extra commercial, it just gives them a guaranteed spot to play one of the commercials they are contracted to play

Odd choice not to cover the targeting on Cal's QB.
They never cover incorrect calls
Cal plays football?
@@T_Mo271 they forgot they did at half time
@@nikoyochum6974 They did last week on an illegal batting in the Army-Temple game. But they don't seem to do high-profile plays.
