Great review. I'm just so glad he seems to be durable. Nothing is worse to me than spending good money for a figure that falls apart pr feels cheap. I just got him at target for $46.99.
I love him! As for the size, I think the only challenge will be finding a way to make him not stick out and look out of place among the other figures. This is the only neca pred in this size and although he goes with the rest of The Predator figures I find myself thinking of how to display him. Other than that I’m a fan of this, I think neca did an amazing job with the detail, especially on the dreads and claws for me. I swapped his head to the open mouth which I prefer and will leave like that. Lastly those digit grade feet almost remind me of xenomorph, especially the bending at the toes. I usually never have problems with articulation because I know right out of the box to be careful, but warm my figures up in water, but I always put them in a ziplock bag because I don’t want water getting into them. It’s always worked for me!

I saw this guy at target and passed him up on the first go round but then went back and purchases him. Boy am I glad I did. Aside from a couple minor issues (joints too tight for my comfort, etc... ) this figure is amazing. Didn't care for the film at all, but as far as amazing action figures go, this guy doesn't dissapoint. I think he is actually the highlight of my predator collection.

I wasn't really thrilled with the pics of this mega pred so I just about passed until my LCS got him in stick so I just picked him up & the pics didn't do him justice. I am really happy I bought one. I took 2 neca stands 2 get him posed to my liking but he most definitely makes my Predator shelf Pop. He should've come with the head & spine of the fugitive as an accessory but if you have an extra engineer skull n spine & an alternate masked fugitive head, some super glue & some paint you can make it happen!
Nice figure, thanks for the review. I wasn’t too big of a fan of The Predator movie, but I like parts of it and that’s only when the Predators were in it. I rented the movie back in December and I’m pretty sure the gauntlet gun is accurate. Overall, the figure looks amazing and it is massive, but I’m not a fan of the feet as most of Neca’s figures are not always balanced right, and this looks like a nightmare to try to stand.
If the mouth could open it would be perfect I don't know why they would make it that big and not make it with the mouth being able to open still a good figure though
Considering the size of this predator, it's hard to think that Neca can't make the same promotion for a Ghidorah figure having this one already in the market
I have no doubt they COULD make a Ghidorah, but I also believe them when they say it would be more expensive than they want it to be, because of 100% unique tooling and likely no reuse possibilities. With this Predator I'm almost certain they're going to make a 2nd one somehow to help with costs.
He would be the biggest figure but when you take that the ultimate predator made by Kenner was crouching in his pose if he stood up straight he would be taller than the assassin but with the ultimate predator you cannot adjust his height like you can with the assassin so ultimately the assassin predator is taller
When you said size are you talking species of predators or scale? Cause the have the 1/4 scale but that is of older characters and not intended for the main predator line. Also if you do have issues with the teeth not looking right you mentioned this earlier about the legs but heat with fix the teeth.

I'm a huge predator fan and collect most of NECA's predators and some Hot Toys too. But I am not buying this 2018 movie line. I will just assume that movie is fan-made and doesn't exist in the predator lore. That shit is just disappointing. Great review tho..
What did to think about the fugitive predator armor? Too human? It didn't look like predator armor. Wish he could have stayed alive longer. Seeing him get taken out so quick was lame and disappointing.

Ironically, biologically the Upgrade foot design is terrible for bipedals. It's why you don't see it occur in nature.
