Sabrina, I love watching your school videos and seeing how important school is to you, how dedicated and determined you are to do the very best job you can. I wish you all the luck in the world in your preparation for the MCAT and in your upcoming school year. I'm out of school, but if I was still in school, you would inspire me to do even better than I did. Keep up the great work! You're gonna do awesome!
+jendley From someone who has had multiple medical school interviews..... my biggest regret is that I didn't get more involved with a meaningful volunteer experience or two starting my freshman year of college. I did get more involved my junior year (I learned I do better in school by balancing out my academic life with other activities) but my lack of volunteering my first two years has been called out in my interviews. Also focus on getting good grades. Bad grades never go away. As for the MCAT.... it took me about 800 hours of studying over 6 months to get a 34 on the old MCAT. Do what works for you though. One of my friends got a 36 after about 30 hours of studying and another a 22 after 1000 hours of studying. Do not underestimate the test or take it when you are not getting the score you want on your practice tests (and do start practicing the "Critical Reasoning or Verbal" section of the test. Good luck. It's a long hard road...... I've seen many people break during it.
I wrote the old MCAT ( last year) and have lots of friends doing it this year! But yes, when I first started studying, I too didn't realize the exam was fully computerized! not to worry though, you get scrap paper and pencils to work out problems (still not the same, but better than nothing!). And TPR is honestly SO thorough and amazing, I used that last year
I had a roommate from Alberta who would say I am going to go "write a test". Lol. In American English to write a test is to make or create a test. We say "take a test" for what to you is "to write a test." You guys also say Eh and Sorry for everything. Y'all are so polite it's funny.
I'm in medical school and I really enjoy your videos! Good luck with your MCAT process. When you get into med school it'll be a whole new ball game. More work than you could ever imagine lol.
Please keep doing videos on studying and everything you go through that has something to do with your college or school studying life! it actually really helps me
Keep up the great work! Your college videos always me make feel motivated for school! You are an very intelligent, hard working, and extraordinary person who will someday make a change in the world.
May God bless you to score well on the MCAT and get into and graduate from medical school. Although I am an engineer, I respect those who study and practice medicine. I wanted to study medicine, but I fell in love with math, physics and solving problems.
Pleaaaase an SAT video really need it how to prepare and some tricks that helped you or websites or books you used , love your vids Sabrina thanks in advance that would mean a lot !
Im not interested in medical school, but i love watching your videos because they provide with so much motivation... I'm pursuing a doble major in ChE and Physics and your videos help alot! Thanks
I am from the uk and we have the UKCAT. It probably the same sort of thing but, wow!! You have to study so much. When my brother did the UKCAT he said it was like an IQ test and it is hard to study for it but you can only practice it with passed papers. I think that what the new MCAT is going for ( more of a IQ based test). I don't know I might be wrong.
I'm so glad I'm a business administration major lol. I'd love to minor in accounting though. The medical field seems so stressful! Props to anyone and everyone who chooses it!!
Hi! I have question regarding the Princeton review. Definitely it's amazing and do you read every single chapter, taking notes? Or just solving the ques.? Because reading everything for sure takes time.
The hearstart thing is perfect. I Remember cramming everything into 2 months before MCAT it was really stressful. . And try doing as much question as u can Best of luck ♡♡
+amberjena93 I am going to take the mcat in april. I can't take a course so I am self studying. Was Princeton better than Kaplan or examcrackers? I have limited funds so I really need to find something that is good. Did you do well?
im a biochemistry major too!! we literally have like the same pathway. except i am a sophomore now so i am going to start studying for the mcat next may and take it in winter and again in spring like u said
Andrea Tooley or "A Doctor in the house" is currently taking her specialty at ophtalmology at Mayo Clinic and she makes a lot of videos an blog posts for premeds and med students. You probably know her but if you don't you should really check her content cause I think it'd be so helpful to you :)
Hey Sabrina, I graduated engineering with a 3.4 and it has been a couple+ years since I took my last science class. I feel that I need a thorough science review what would you suggest for that? Also what type of extracurricular activities do medschools typically look for?
I get so excited every time your new video pops up in the subscription feed. Really like these study related videos, i'll never get tired of them :)) Can't wait for more of these videos
Hey, I was wondering what medical school do you plan on going to or what are good ones ? I'm only 17 but I'm really interested in the medical career. Also I really like hearing about your college experience and the things you're preparing for
Is the sociology review in the test prep book enough for someone who hasn't taken a sociology class in college? Or is it highly recommended that one should enroll in a sociology course before taking the MCAT?
I also want to study biochemistry !!💖🏥 one day a teacher told me that there is a scholarship that could paid 1 or 2 years of college based on your GPA (3.8+) and since my GPA is like 4 something I really want to apply. Does someone know more about that scholarship ? Thanks
Hey guys i'v q i'm a nursing student in second year and i just realize after volunteering and get more in a medical life that i really NOT interested in care (nursing ) , unlike treat , SO MY Q IS i can get the MCAT exam even if i am a nursing student?

+Reza .R Do whatever you are passionate about. You still have a couple of years before you need to decide your path anyway. Passion trumps natural skill pretty much every time academically in my opinion.
ukabeauty MCAT:MEdical College Admission test conducted in U.S. and Canada. Like its marks play major role if u r trying to get into a medical college der
Sarah Meg In U.S. it goes like this High school then 4yrs of PreMed College then 4yrs Medical College/University then after that Residency(3 or more yrs) u become doctor PreMed just prepares u for Medical college then u write MCAT ,scores of which decide which Medical college u get into then after MEd school u write USMLE(United States Medical Licensing Exam) scores of which decide which residency u get into(Like Family Med or Surgery or Pyschiatry etc.) and then u become a doctor U cannot prescribe stuff or operate on patients until u complete resideny. Thats.Thats when u become a real doctor So basically its High school-------->PreMEd College--------MCAT------>MEdical College------USMLE------>REsidency===> Doctor :P
It's horrendous. trust me... Do as much practice tests as you can. And, as of now, many tests out there are not truly accurate depictions of the test -__- so the more practice you do the better because you get exposed to as much variety as possible. Goodluck! :)
PLEASE make a video after you have taken the MCAT describing your experience
Yes pleassseeee

How did you do on the MCAT? What exactly did you use to pass it? Please let me know asap. Thank you.
