Just imagine the people who work for the show wearing these suites in the hot weather fighting all day. That would be miserable and awesome at the same time.
with the shields i took the velcro off and used a set of buckles. i added extra fabric where i placed my buckles at and it holds perfectly and with the extra fabric i dont have to worry about the suit tearing on me.
It wouldn't hurt to get a spandex suit a size bigger. They're generally made for an asian fit so they will run a bit smaller. Even if you size up, you can still take the suit to a seamstress, to make it smaller in some areas if necessary.
Honestly dude...the Gold ranger is has to be on my top 10 fav rangers...and I considered actually getting the cosplay. ...BUT there is something I noticed that through me off...the shield is so tiny...if anything it looks very snug....on the show when jason wore it, the shield was huge, looked comfortable....are they all like that when you order them??? Or can you ask for it to be bigger??? Again I love the gold ranger I just have to ask
Thanks for the compliment and I love the gold ranger as well. To answer your question in regards to the shield, it's a similar shield to the one used in the japanese Ohranger series more or less. The one used by Jason in Zeo, was designed by the folks who made the props and accessories for the series here in America. When you watch the japanese version, the shield bears more of a resemblance from that. The version I have is Aniki's second version of the previous shield he used to make for the King Ranger before. If you have seen his last one, the one I have definitely looks more screen accurate. As far as making a bigger shield, I don't think Aniki can make another one because this is a set size he makes all of them by. Honestly, it's hard enough to move around in the current shield. So I wouldn't recommend going any bigger because of how difficult it is to move in it.
ViperGuy84 ....oh well that explains alot...I never watched da Japanese original version of Zeo, my 1st sight was da Jason version so I was just so used to seeing that big shield lol but thanx for responding so quickly...just out of curiosity which is your favorite American ranger lol
Yeah, the Japanese versions of Power Rangers are normally better than what we have here. There's more backstory and it gives you the opportunity to know the characters better than the way we know them now. Plus the action was a bit better seeing how much of the footage in the American series was taken from theirs as well. As far as my favorite character, it's kinda tough to decide. I'd be lying if I said the Green Ranger from Mighty Morphin wasn't my favorite but he is. I like him more than the White Ranger simply because no other Ranger in all of the series' that have come out, have made as big of an impact on the franchise as him. To me, he was the most iconic of all the Rangers. But if I had to list a top 5, it would go like this from 1-5. Green Ranger(MMPR), Gold Ranger(Zeo), Omega Ranger(SPD), White Ranger(MMPR) and the Magna Defender(Lost Galaxy). I'm familiar with the other ones from the later series but these ones stood out the most in my mind as being my favorite.
Man, that looks awesome! I recently commissioned a suit from Aniki but I have trouble with the measurements. The pic Aniki sent my was of a flat looking figure and some of the references were hard to understand. Do you have any advice on where to get better measurements? Thanks.
Thanks I tried to pull off the look as best as I could. As for the measurement chart, it's the same chart that he sends everyone before he starts a commission. Since this is my 2nd suit I've done with Aniki and currently have a 3rd one in the works, I get my measurements from a tailor out in town. If you're having trouble knowing what to measure, the tailor will probably be able to read which points you need to better assist you. They are kind of a pain to figure out the first time you're commissioning a suit from him. But once you get all the points measured and sent off to him, he'll take care of the rest. Be sure to leave an inch or so for extra breathing room so you can layer up underneath. It's a spandex suit, so it'll be not only formed to your body but it will reveal a bit too much for others in public. Just a little FYI :)
Thanks so much for the fast reply! I will most definitely go to a professional tailor and have my measurements taken right. I've seen some costumes where the crotch area hangs way too low and that's something I would like to avoid, haha! But like you mentioned in another video, I'll ask for some room in the lower region to avoid any over exposure, haha! Oh, and one more thing, do the coffs on the gloves only come in velcro or can you get them with zippers instead? Thanks again!
No problem man, it's always nice to see fellow Ranger fans around on RUclips. But yeah, you definitely don't want too much slack in your suit otherwise it'll look too baggy. But you wanna leave enough in your suit for a better overall comfortable fit. I suggest buying an Under Armour long sleeve top and legging bottoms. I use this as well, so that there's no bunching or excess lines showing from the outside when others see your suit. It gives it one clean overall look as if it's formed to your body. If you start getting hot, the Under Armour also helps trap sweat and keep you cool for a little bit if need be but I wouldn't test that theory too much lol. Be sure to take breaks in between when necessary at a con or something. PR suits were never meant to be comfortable for that matter haha. As for the cuffs, Aniki only makes them with velcro for now. From what I've been hearing from others, he does listen to his customers feedback on certain things, so he's always improving on his work. He may upgrade to zippers later on at some point, but it requires more time and it may raise the price of his stuff. Velcro catches to spandex material a lot but I've learned to use painters tape on the overlapping areas to alleviate that. The velcro is also necessary so that you can adjust it to however much tighter you need to. I apologize for this comment being so long. Hope this helps and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask :)
No doubt aniki's stuff is top notch, but is it just me or is his gold zeo ranger chest piece's always small? everyone i've seen get this the bottom of the torso piece stops around the middle of the rib cage and it looks as though there is a large gap from it to the belt. Everything I've looked at from the show (especially the japanese footage) the torso piece comes down way further. I just watched the clip where the gold ranger summons pyramidas for the first time and his torso piece is MAYBE 2 or 3 inches from his belt. Call me picky, just a stickler for specifics :P
hey there dude. one just want to say i admire these two suits you got. real wonderful.... second i really want to get myself one suit for maybe next years Halloween... i really love the green mighty morphin power ranger suit. which do you recommend... the green mmpr or the red mmpr..... i know you mentioned in time it starts to wear off. i would like to get the one suit that would last the longest..... i would want to have my suit forever.... i wpould really appreciate the response and help. thank you
Hey man, thanks for hitting me up for advice. Glad you liked the 2 suits. I'll be adding a 3rd one soon when Aniki finishes it and will do an unboxing as well. As for what suit you should do next, is really up to you on personal choice. I do like both the Red and Green Mighty Morphin Rangers, so I can't really give you an honest answer haha. These suits overtime will develop wear and tear and it comes with continuous wear as all things do, if that's what your wondering. They don't however, get old by seeing yourself in a suit. It always brings that nostalgia factor back that you experienced as a kid. It's one of the many reasons I enjoy wearing these suits, because it not only puts a smile on my face but others as well. On another note, if you're really serious about commissioning a suit from Aniki, now is the time to do so if you're able. There are some changes that are coming to his ordering policy that I'll be highlighting in an upcoming video soon. Stay tuned for that and for a video of my new suit when I get it!!!
thanks alot bro. your the man. ill be posted though. keep doing your thing bro. ill make up my mind soon. i actually ordered myself the legacy morphere green/ white i might just go with the green suit. your videos kick ass and very help full. stay up bro.
Yes as of now those are the only 2 I've had. I have a 3rd one in the works from SPD and I'm currently awaiting Aniki to ship it out. I'll be doing a review of it when I receive it.
Yes these are very expensive and it's pretty much considered an investment. But what you need to keep in mind, is that these suits are made to order as a commission. It's virtually made the same way as the ones from the show. Aniki makes every suit by hand and it takes him 5-6 months to make just one complete suit. It takes him 3-4 months for just the helmet alone. He owns a few of the screen used suits, so that's also where he gets his references from when making the suits as well. Suits like these don't come cheap whatsoever, so it's definitely aimed for the more serious. Not saying you're not a fan, but you gotta pay to play when it comes to owning suits like these so I wouldn't consider the price a rip off. His rates for what he charges is set this way because of how much time and quality it takes to make them. You won't find very many if any, who can make a suit as good as he does and charge the same amount. Any other person would charge you more than he does trust me :)
The price really depends on the type of Ranger you are looking to commission. Mainly because each suit requires a certain level of detail and several months of build time in order to complete it. The Green Ranger from Mighty Morphin will run you around $1100 with shipping if I'm not mistaken. These suits are not cheap by any means, but as you can tell by the quality they are worth the money.
Dude that's sick man! I don't know if you Remmeber me but I met you at wizard world sac earlier this year! I just ordered the white/red from Aniki and hope to get it soon
I met a lot of people that day so it's hard for me to remember exactly. But thanks for the compliment. I hope you get your new suit soon, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I have another suit in the works as well with Aniki, and it may be ready in time for Power Morphicon next month. Are you going?
Aniki Cosplay, link is in the description. Facebook messenger is the best way to get a hold of him, however his communication in responding is slow. Give him some time to answer you back once you contact him. Be forewarned, that these suits aren't cheap whatsoever. Price I paid was $1,100 I think and it takes him roughly 6 months to finish a suit. Thanks for the compliment.
I have just a question that's somewhat unrelated if you don't mind me asking lol. So I just recently received my red PRIS full ranger suit from Aniki (yaay, finally lol) and I wanted to ask you how do I go about wearing it to a convention? I'll be taking it to PMC so yeah. I just don't want the helmet or anything to get damaged as I take it out to public. Plus, using the bathroom I thought would be kinda an awkward situation in a full body suit. I dunno, basically just what's the best way to make sure the suit and everything is still in great shape after taking it out in public? Thanks
First off, congrats on purchasing an Aniki suit. You'll definitely enjoy it that's for sure lol. I'm assuming you got an In Space cosplay? Very good choice as well. To answer your question about taking care of the suit, is actually a good question. What I normally do when I go to cons, is I usually have a buddy who goes with me. If I have to use the bathroom, he just helps to take off the shield and other parts of the suit I can't get to myself. What I normally do is take swigs of water so I can to stay hydrated throughout the day and I'm pretty fine. It also helps to drink plenty of water the night before and eat a good breakfast the morning of. Trust me, you definitely don't wanna scarf down a hotdog or too much food in costume and risk rushing to the bathroom for a number 2 or spilling anything on the suit at all. I do eat snacks like granola bars and light stuff, which my buddy carries in his bag when he's with me. I think the biggest advice I can give you if you ever decide to go out in public other than PMC or any convention, is to make sure you have a buddy with you at all times. Not only can he help you in times when you need it during cons, he can also keep the obnoxious people at bay. There's people like that everywhere, who find it funny to mess with someone who's different from everyone else because they have a costume on. And in turn, could end up destroying your investment. Aside from that, once you start wearing the suit for long durations which you more than likely will, your body will adjust to the awkwardness of it. Hope this helps :)
By the way, if you ever get a chance try to put up a video review of the suit you have. I'd love to see it and it'll definitely help others who may be in search of the same suit.
ViperGuy84 lol thanks, yep it is a Power Rangers in space suit. I was originally going to get something from Mighty Morphin' like blue or black but I dunno, In Space was always my favorite season lol. Aniki was also kind enough to include red mighty morphin cuffs free of charge though. I was really appreciative of that. Anyways, thanks a lot for the advice. I really appreciate it. I've never done a PMC before; let alone even going to a convention (its my first time) so I'm a little anxious lol. I normally don't make youtube videos but you know what, I'll give it a shot tomorrow and hopefully upload it within 2 days lol. I'll give you a shout out heh. I haven't found too many PRIS cosplay reviews on youtube anyways I guess lol.
I think it was around $1100 for the entire suit. The main reason I can't talk in the helmet, is because of the way it's shaped. It literally clamps my jaw shut. So talking in it is physically impossible haha. Most have to take the padding out of the helmet just to get them to fit. But I've managed to wear mine without doing so thanks to my small head. It does get a bit hot in the helmets over time. However, that's the price you pay when you wanna dress as a Power Ranger. Honestly you do get used to it the longer you wear it.
Well if the detail is that epic I think it's worth it if you got the cash haha :P. I just have a full Lycra symbiote spidey Lycra outfit which is a easy costume cause there's not much detail like helmets and shields lol. Cost £30. But the power ramger looks exactly like the tv costumes. Awesome stuff VIPER.
Hmm I never really considered doing an MMPR Red to be honest. I do like the Red Ranger but I've been trying to do ones that aren't as popular. To get people to understand that there's different types of Power Rangers out there, is kind of what I'm aiming for. Most of everyone who knows of the Power Rangers, are familiar with the originals and some of the newer stuff. So I try to branch off and do some odd ones that aren't really seen a whole lot or that most haven't thought to cosplay as. By the way, I have another suit in the works right now with Aniki. It's sort of a surprise but I've decided to do a Ranger from SPD this time around.
Sorry for the late reply. The shield was made by Aniki Cosplay from Indonesia. I'm sure there's tutorials of others who have made them online. Unfortunately, I did not make the shield sorry.
The feel of the suit really depends on the amount of accessories it requires you to wear. Some suits are simple and don't require a whole lot of pieces to put on, so it's very easy going and comfortable. Some of course like mine which has a shield and other extras, can get pretty cumbersome or frustrating when you gotta move around in it. Whichever suit you end up with, it's important to try it on and wear it for at least an hour or so around your house so you know what to expect. If you've never worn a spandex suit, Power Rangers is a good start for sure. Who would've known wearing one with a helmet, would make you the envy of many lol.
I'm looking forward to it. I've never been able to do anything like this. Never been able to go to a convention. This is just 1 step closer ...although, I must admit...zeo was my favorite series. Always wanted to be zeo 4 :-)
When you first put the suit on, it'll feel very different. But you'll get used to it in no time. Conventions are always fun to attend, especially if you can go in cosplay. Dressing as a Power Ranger, will get you quite a bit of attention as it is. And Zeo was one of my favorites as well. However I'm still going through my 20 season collection of dvd's though haha.
I love your video can’t wait to $ee you have a out door fight $cene after a new review I’m looking to grab a green ranger cosplay how do I go about sizeing the spandex suit & i$ their a cup for the crouch area to conceal my yurtle.lmao...I always wounderd this & how long does it take to get your order
The vision isn't too bad for the most part. It's the fogging in the helmet that becomes the issue. Be sure to invest in some anti fog solution, if you're getting any of these helmets.
Yeah being hot kinda goes with the territory of wearing a Power Ranger suit. Comfort comes at a price if you're trying to wear these things I'm afraid. Thanks though, I'll be at a few cons in the Northern and Southern California area this year. I may even attend Power Morphicon this year in Pasadena but we'll see.
There are slots cut out in the kanji symbol of the plexiglass that allow me to see. It's not the easiest of the helmets to see out of, but you get used to it.
Yes I can breathe in it. It's no easy skill, but over time you learn to train yourself on controlling your breathing when wearing the helmet for long periods.
If I took the padding out of the helmet, I may be able to talk in it. I leave the padding in it though for comfort reasons, although many others have had to take it out. I don't think you would want to talk in the helmet as much though because of how difficult it is to breathe in it. Either way, the Zeo helmets do run a bit smaller than most other PR helmets.
This review makes me not want to purchase this suit from Aniki, one trigger away from paying him. The smallest measurement and it can make your life uncomfortable (shield, knee pad, helmet, tiny parts on shield). Always assumed his/her/their products were high quality :(
+Chris Lam If you're not willing to do business with Aniki, then you don't have to do it. His work is very good in my opinion and at least during the times I've dealt with him. You're not gonna find a whole lot of individuals willing to dedicate their time in making a complete suit like Aniki's team. What you will find, are some very good reputable helmet, suit and prop makers for PR cosplays. But you have to do it all separately and it'll cost twice as much. If you're willing to go that route you can. Complete PR suits are not easy to come by and aren't something just anyone is willing to take the time to make for someone. Keep that in mind.
I'm most likely going to buy. This is the first review I have seen on the suit I've been wanting I just hope when I do receive the items I wont have any issues. I wanted to ask you if all the helmet sizes are one size?
Yes his helmets are designed for a one size fit all. The size will vary depending on the helmet you're requesting. He does have a measuring chart for his standard size, however I wouldn't use that since he bases them off of actual screen used ones he owns. So each one is going to be different in some way. As difficult as it is to have him answer a simple question, you will need to do your best in contacting him or getting an exact measurement from him. He can extend the size front to back but he can't change the circumference of the helmet fyi.
+ViperGuy84 Hey I just purchased the gold zeo ranger suit from Aniki as well, now just playing the waiting game after sending him the measurements, how does your suit fit? should your measurements be as "tight" as possible or do you recommend adding a couple centimeters to each measurements?
I'd say your measurements should be somewhat of a slim fit. Spandex in general isn't meant to be loose fitting to begin with. But if you want the suit to look right, it's best it fits a bit more on the tight side.
That helmet legitimately sounds like a super solid piece. Not like some hollow plastic shell. My only concern is the limited flow of oxygen.
Now i can straight up dress for quarantine in style!
Just imagine the people who work for the show wearing these suites in the hot weather fighting all day. That would be miserable and awesome at the same time.
One of my favourite ranger outfits! One song that would go with that is Black and Gold by Sam Sparrow!
with the shields i took the velcro off and used a set of buckles. i added extra fabric where i placed my buckles at and it holds perfectly and with the extra fabric i dont have to worry about the suit tearing on me.

Nice, looks great! Could I get trouble you to get Aniki's contact info? I've been trying to look it up all day
Search Aniki Cosplay on Facebook. Once you find his page, you can message him on what suit you would like to commission.
Thanks, right after I made this post...I seen your video with instructions on how to commission Aniki..talk about a slow moment...but thank you.
really cool!! haha awesome!
How much$$$ and where to buy??? Supa cool!!!!
Nice suite
ViperGuy84 I uploaded a review of it :)
Cool man I'll be sure to check it out.
How did you get the suit from aniki? I want to buy a suit.
Wowww🔥🔥🔥🔥
When you are done wearing gold ranger suit, where do you put the shield armor?
Jerry Rogers I just store the shield in the box it came in. Nothing really special since it's made of foam.
ViperGuy84 thank you.
WHAT IS THE PRICE?
Arc Trooper Rod 269, ur mom
lol
Awesome! How much is it and how come you can't talk with the mask. Wud it just make it hot in there lol ?
Where do you buy the costume from and how much so I can purchase this immediately
Will you ever do a mmpr red cosplay
Awesome dude
Thanks
ViperGuy84 if u want to be on my power rangers 4ever hang out just let me know
Thanks again for the invite. What's this Power Rangers 4ever hang out about?
ViperGuy84 everything about power rangers and cosplayers with power ranger cosplay shuts
Sounds pretty cool man. Yeah I'd love to be a part of it.
FUCKING SHIT BRO, YOU LOOK AMAZING!!!!! How much the full set run you? GOLD RANGER FOR LIFE!!!
how was that gold ranger shield made? seriously an instruction video would be great
Sorry for the late reply. The shield was made by Aniki Cosplay from Indonesia. I'm sure there's tutorials of others who have made them online. Unfortunately, I did not make the shield sorry.
Drat. The aniki prices are high as when converted from USD to AUD
What are you looking to spend on a shield? If you message him directly on Facebook about commissioning a shield, I'm sure he can make one for you.
Nice man how does it feel to be in one because I am thinking about getting one myself and doing a dance video
Lol hey man thank man
Great video!
I've been losing weight so that I can order the mmpr yellow... :-)
+Ashley Miller
Awesome I'm sure you'll enjoy the suit when you get it.
+ViperGuy84 Lol I bet I'm a bit older than you but I can still guarantee that I'm so far behind on my ranger series lol
try aniki-cosplay.myshopify.com/ be prepaired to wait
vorrei ordinare un costume! come posso fare?
the best suit so far
why he doesnt talk when he uses the helmet?
Breathing sounds like shrunk down Darth Vader.
what do you put down the suit to not show? is like another spandex that is more closer.
I use a compression top and bottom. Or you can buy just compression leggings on amazon or from a sports store.
Thanks alot
I love your video can’t wait to $ee you have a out door fight $cene after a new review I’m looking to grab a green ranger cosplay how do I go about sizeing the spandex suit & i$ their a cup for the crouch area to conceal my yurtle.lmao...I always wounderd this & how long does it take to get your order
how long did you have wait for shipping + receiving ?
Sorry for the late reply. It took about a week from shipping until I received my suit.
thanks for the info
Dude where did you get the gold ranger costume ?
Aniki Cosplay is who made the suit. Link is in the description.
Suffocate you in a helmetGold Zeo Pover Ranger?
How good is the vision on the visor?
The vision isn't too bad for the most part. It's the fogging in the helmet that becomes the issue. Be sure to invest in some anti fog solution, if you're getting any of these helmets.
Gotcha. I can understand the fogging part. My Mando helmet fogs up on me as well when ever I wear it.
ViperGuy84 is this black ranger?
I want one
How did you get the suit
awesome
Dude that looks just like the real one
How much did it cost?
I paid around $1200 for the suit.
Thanks bro, I guess I got to start saving my allowances
did ya get the suit ?😂
Where you get it
I wonder how the actors talk while wearing the helmets then!
They don't actually talk wearing the helmets. It's all done by voiceover.
Add me to facebook, find my name and look for the one of me holding a rubber duck! Lol
How much!?
Where are the breathing hole for this helmet?
Dimana bisa order cosplay??
MUSIC ZEO
How much is it
How much are the coustume plz reply
I paid around $1100 or so for the entire thing.
cool
how were you able to afford that
also is it hard to speak with the helmet on
I like your video
No sap that zack was the gold rengers I thought it was jason the gol rangers
Ashley Miller I like your smile
that is so cool i want to get that suit and i bet it is hot in the helmet its going to be real hot in it when u r posing for pics in conventions huh
Yeah being hot kinda goes with the territory of wearing a Power Ranger suit. Comfort comes at a price if you're trying to wear these things I'm afraid. Thanks though, I'll be at a few cons in the Northern and Southern California area this year. I may even attend Power Morphicon this year in Pasadena but we'll see.
nice ima try to attend my first con here in houston texas comicpalooza i heard austin st john is on tour and houston is his first stop!
I was just wondering how do u see under that helmet man
There are slots cut out in the kanji symbol of the plexiglass that allow me to see. It's not the easiest of the helmets to see out of, but you get used to it.
how long have you had the outfit for
I've had it for almost a year now I think.
what Web site you get it from
+TS1 DaGrimReaper Search Aniki Cosplay on Facebook.
Ok
7:51 Dark Vader Lol
Can u breathe inside that helmet
Yes I can breathe in it. It's no easy skill, but over time you learn to train yourself on controlling your breathing when wearing the helmet for long periods.
ViperGuy84 Have you tried talking with the helmet on as well? Is that a challenge too?
If I took the padding out of the helmet, I may be able to talk in it. I leave the padding in it though for comfort reasons, although many others have had to take it out. I don't think you would want to talk in the helmet as much though because of how difficult it is to breathe in it. Either way, the Zeo helmets do run a bit smaller than most other PR helmets.
Can you breath in That?
the ''gold'' :v
I97dm😢
Try and talk in it
Dude, if you're gonna buy multi-hundred dollar suites, invest in something better then the webcam on your computer to record with.
i hate power rangers SO MUCH
but it still looks really cool
Hi I was wondering where I could buy this suit? Looks amazing!
awesome
