    As an experienced ringer I almost can't bare to watch this, not only ringing without sallies, but also without stays! Shear madness!

    It's a stupendous sound at 10.00 when they let the bells ring themselves down!

    Here they do have 10 bells only the treble bell was not rung on this occasion. There is a couple of videos on RUclips with the treble ringing as well. There are other churches in Italy with bells like this especially Bovolone where there is a video of english ringers ringing Grandsire Triples. There is also another church in Verona ringing like this.

    Why is the change ringing so slow and where are the stays of the bells

    • @Campanaronembrese
      @Campanaronembrese 3 года назад

      Because this is Italy, not UK

      the head stock helps with counter balance making them easy to stand upright the counter balance makes the bells turn very slowly so they don't really need stays

      Diese 10 Glocken wurden 1931 von Ettore Cavadini in Verona gegossen. Die größte ist 2003 von De Poli in Vittorio Veneto wiedergegossen worden. Die Kleinste kommt aus Österreich. Grassmayr hat sie gegossen.
