I met him when I moved to NY in mid 80s as he was the only who replied to my letters. He hanged out a few times , he invited me every time he performed live. One of the sweetest and kindest persons I’ve ever met! RIP Glenn

I met him once quite unexpectedly. My friends and I had just entered a nightclub and they had just done their act, as I was walking in he was just "There" in the foyer in those black leathers & I bumped into him, I apologised and he was very polite & actually offered to buy me a drink which I politely declined & that was It. I remember he wasn't very tall. I didn't know he passed away, very sad to hear that.

Thanks for sharing the video of Glenn Hughes grave site, I was wondering what it looked like. I'm surprised Glenn didn't have a picture of a motor cycle on the grave since he loved his bike so much. I sure would like to see what his bike looked like.
Does anyone know if Glenn had anyone stay with him in his final days or hours? I just pray he didn't have to die alone. It's been 20 years since his passing, but I still cry when I see his grave. I just hope someday I can visit his grave. He was loved by so many people, and I know he will never be forgotten.
Glenn Hughes was the best!, There will never be another like Glenn, he was one of a kind and died way too young. He was the reason I got interested in the Village People. I sure miss seeing him.

I'm surprised a sketch of a Harley wasn't put on Glenn's head stone since he loved bikes so much. I know Glenn wanted to be burried in his leathers and that Glenn requested Alex Briley sing (where do I go) at his funeral. Maybe he didn't get around or didn't want to say what he wanted on his head stone, that would be pretty tough to think about knowing your time on this earth is almost up. I just pray that Glenn accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour, I guess there's no way of knowing unless someone he knew can post it.
I hope he accepted the Lord as well,i thought about that while watching this.Life is so short ,i am 48 right now myself,yikes ,i cant imagine possibly being dead in two years.

I think that that cemetery is in QUEENS on 80 st not sure there is one in LONG ISLAND because the head stones are not allowed in some of them on the island I could be wrong ..i use to live in queens near that st JOHN 's one..
