Tried this last night, used a pork butt. I did velvet the pork pieces (1/2 tsp baking soda for a half hour, then rinse well). Substituted food coloring for beet powder, and added chunks of bell pepper and onion. Soooooooo good. Even husband loved it.
Oh man! What a trip! I was totally craving these ribs the other day. Back in the day, I use to go to this Chinese place and get 2 entree with chow mien and fried rice or white rice. Anyway, I use to get these ribs and they were super good. Let me tell you. That sweet sticky glaze stuff was hecka good. Lately, I’ve been eating meat. Only because it’s been on sale. I’ll try your recipe video, thanks!
Thankyou! I think we all have our favorite Chinese place with hella good something or other...lol that was a perfect way to put it! I hope you like them just as much, good luck! 😃

Looks yummy. What kind of oil did you spray the air fryer basket with? Thank you
Hi there and thanks! I tend to use mostly avocado and olive oil in my Evo spritzer. 😉
😋
let them sit longer with the red food coloring
What are the ingredients in the Chinese 5 spice?
What setting did you use?
I used the Air Crisp setting @390° 🙂
No air fryer, but do have a convection oven and a wok. Comments?
An air fryer is essentially a mini oven
Set on 350f, 40-45 minutes. Brush on the sauce every 25 min
