Dude this is such a good explanation, you make it look and sound so easy. Looks very good so far man
Hey thanks! I am glad you think so and are liking the looks of things so far. Appreciate you watching and leaving a comment.
This is exactly what I have been looking for to learn show to diy dioramas! Tyvm!
So dope definitely gonna try this
Awesome! Thanks for watching
Nice dollhouse bruh
Carbon scoring is dope and so is this video, I’m planning on making a diorama that slides perfectly into my book shelf
Thank you! Love Carbon Scoring's channel. That sounds awesome
Looks amazing. Really like how detailed it is. Looking forward to part 3!
Thanks
You're welcome! Thanks for watching and for the question. I appreciate you.
Looking so clean and crispy
Thanks Steve 🙏. Did you start your build yet?
@@vascotoys no. I’ve been really busy with work and travel. But these videos are keeping me inspired and motivated!!
So good.
😄
Looks so clean and detailed even before painting!
Thank you! Not sure if you saw, but part 3 where I paint the piece is now live.
Loving these videos. I appreciate you doing these, thank you
And I appreciate you watching! Glad you like them 😁
Nice
🙌
Im a new subscriber I'm glad I found the channel I enjoy the content I'm starting too watch the older stuff now . cheers.
Thanks Dylan! Appreciate the sub and you watching the other videos
感谢你,很好的教程!我也打算做一个。
Thanks for watching!
Coming along great, man! Loving the little add-on parts that give it some character, like the raised row of bricks between the two sets of windows.
Do you design your own 3D prints? I’d love to print out some different types of windows to experiment with, but I’m not sure where to look exactly.
Awesome work, looking forward to seeing the progress!
Thank you! Glad you like those brick features. Yes I design my prints in Tinkercad. I sell my physical prints, but I don't sell the 3d model files. You might be able to find some stuff to experiment with on Thingiverse though.
😮
Glad you liked it! Thanks for checking out the video.
where can we get the stl file for the windows? keep up the good work
Hey Eric! I designed the windows in Tinkercad. If you'd like to buy some of the physical windows, let me know. I sell those, but I don't sell the files.
@@vascotoys how much for the windows?
@@TheNaldy3193 the smaller ones are $6 each, the larger ones are $8 each. Shipping not included in those prices. Email me at vascotoys@gmail.com if you are interested in buying.
This is awesome good sir! May I ask a question? What do you mean when you say “Check that the side of the diorama your cutting against is a 90* angle, otherwise the lines aren’t going to come out as planned”?
Thanks for the question and for watching! If you don't cut brick lines against a straight edge, it will make all of your brick work look wonky. That's what I mean
What size do you do your bricks at ie: length and width of one brick?
Great question! The bricks are 1" wide and .25" tall.
Hey you said your distance between each individual brick, but not the initial lines? What did you use for the first brick lines? Thanks so much
Hey! The bricks are a quarter inch tall and 1 inch wide. Appreciate you checking out the build.
@@vascotoys
Im sorry to ask for clarification here, but this seems off, are the windows 2” height? Asking because qaurter inch bricks dont seem to be big enough, and on your video nearly 8 bricks fit along side tour smaller windows, so do you mean the bricks are half inch x 1” apart
@@ToploadedGaming no need to apologize. Yes, they are a half inch tall each, not a quarter inch. My apologies. I've been working on another project with different dimension bricks currently, which was the reason for the mistake.
Nice work bro, but how much do you charge?
Thanks! Commission pricing is driven by size and details. The bigger and more detailed the more expensive.
can you give me dimensions of the top floor windows?
Sure! They are 62.44mm x 100.54mm
So question how could I hire you to make me something like this?
Hey! I do commissions, but I am booked up for the next 2 years.
HEY WAS WONDERING IF YOU ARE SELLING ANY DIORAMAS AND WHAT WILL B THE PRICE ????
Hey Salvador, everything I have for sale is on my eBay and website. Links to both are in the video description.
i need a tip. I'm making a diorama inspired by yours. I have now engraved all four walls with bricks. Unfortunately, the other side has now bent. What can be the reason, what can I do about it. thanks for answer.
Hi! Was the foam you purchased already warped?
Hey thx for answer, the Plate was flat, but i was able to solve the problem by making vertical and horizontal cuts on the other side as well. then the plate was straight again.
but whether that will always be a good solution for my next project is another question.
@@olzen6507 oh ok. Are you using XPS foam? It sounds like you might be using something like project foam which does warp if one side is painted / carved and the other isn't. Happy to help answer any questions I can!
Yes maybe thats the reason. 👍🏽
@@olzen6507 yes! If you can, get yourself some XPS foam. That won't happen with that material.
where did you get the t square?
Hey Jason! I think I got it at Hobby Lobby, but here is a similar one on Amazon - amzn.to/3RmjmjZ
Heads up that this is my Amazon associates link.
@@vascotoys hey bud I just found your channel I'm watching your dynamic dustys video now lol mad respect for you and your work!! But yes I really need a T- square because I'm not sure if I got any excellent eye when it comes to angles and or squared cuts but everytime I build a Dio with like brick or anything when I hold it up it's just not square like it may wonder left or right or to high or low lol it's very nerve racking so thank you
@@jasonpatchen1912 I'm so glad you found the channel! Thanks for the kind words and for the views. Yes, a T-square will really help you correct that problem. I had the same exact issue when I started. Using a regular ruler makes things a lot harder than using a T-square.
