Hello, my friend, I am not fluent in English, and I would like to ask you some questions. Is this shoe comfortable for walking long distances, gym exercises, and cardio?
Just ordered two(2)pairs of Endorphin Speed 2 for $155 total, using discount at Saucony online.
I used to really enjoy Winflo as I started running fairly regularly about four years ago. I had found them dirt cheap at Nordstrom rack and thought they looked cool😎 Kinda reflective silver upper with black heal wrap.
😄
Well that was my first pair of decent running shoes for many many years before that. I had abused alcohol to the extreme for 20+ years after honorable discharge from the USMC. I suffered liver failure and almost died in hospice. I lost about 50 lbs and left the hospital at about 115 lbs.
(skeleton with a belly) I'm 5'9
I eventually began to recover but gained back over 100 lbs when my appetite returned in full effect😋 I was still weak and couldn't run 100 yards without hyperventilating.
Well anyway...
That set of Winflo eventually got me back beating pavement and a junior high school track surface on a fairly consistent basis. I could feel rapid improvement in my strength and form and pace and stamina and endurance. I ended up running the rubber outsole off of the heals and whole outer edge.
In a way I feel I owe my recovery to the Winflo, so there's a soft spot in my heart for them. I keep hoping they will produce another model that could bring that magic back.
I guess I'm over the sentimental value by now. I'm pretty healthy as my liver is continuously regenerating and I never feel sick like that anymore.
I've run in several other shoes and become very interested in all the different aspects that go into a shoe and what you can get out of them. I still only try to find great deals though. No full price for me unless I knew it was the absolute perfect shoe for my feet and my progress.
I really generally only run 3-6 miles and not quite every day but nearly. Sometimes 4 days in a week and sometimes 8 days in a week😉🙃
Well, sorry about the rambling....
I guess, to make a short story long, I was curious what you think about my latest purchase.
(2) Saucony Endorphin Speed 2 / @ $77 ea
$155
You cannot go wrong with the Endorphin Speed, especially at that price. They are a bit unstable, but not bad. Honestly, a great do-it-all shoe.
The Winflo was also my first legit running shoe. I put well over 300 miles in my first pair of Winflo 5’s. They helped me lose 80lbs of weight, and literally used them 5-6 days a week at various distances. I’m also a bit nostalgic over the Winflo series as well, and this one may be the best, which says a lot because I loved the Winflo 7.
@@RobertHarridge thanks for the response.
Yeah, I couldn't say no when I'm saving more than I'm spending. They had 1 left in my size of two awesome color schemes (American flag and scarlet black)
I had heard mostly good reviews but you know everybody has a different foot and their own perspective.
I appreciate the feedback and the common emotional fondness for Winflo.
😄👍
You cannot go wrong with Saucony Endorphin Speed. Endorphin Speed has been my favorite running shoes in the last 3 years. I bought Speed 1 (two pairs), Speed 2 RunShield and Speed 3. All great shoes. Speed 1/2 are more leaning towards up-tempo trainer, Speed 3 is a bit more stable, more daily training type of shoe. I got them all at good discounts (30-40%). At $77 you had a great purchase. Enjoy!
The foam gets even softer. The Speed 1 that I retired from running at 400 miles was so much softer than the new pair of Speed 1. The medial side was not as supportive as it used to be, so I was limited to daily few miles, over that distance, my hips were complaining. If you have a very neutral gait, you might get more miles out of the shoe. These shoes are able to do it all. When new, I was able to take Speed 1 to 12-16-mile-long runs at tempo paces.
@@TolunayOrkun very cool. Thanks for the tidbit of reassurance. I think they arrive Monday and I guess I'll be testing out one pair on Tuesday. I had hoped to use them as an all around daily. I'm not serious enough to have a rotation of specific purpose sets. I wanted cushion and energy that will last. The sweet price deal was what convinced me. Sounds like I lucked out👍
So I just scored a pair of Endorphin Speed 2 and a pair of Triumph 19’s for a whopping total of… $85. $44 for the Endorphin Speed 2, and $41 for the Triumph 19, both direct from Saucony. I could pass that up.
Heard some saying it's actually better than Pegasus.
Are beautyful
Good shoe for daily use as well….
Good for daily running?
