They started out constructing violins for the classical world- all hand made, then archtops then looked at vintage old Gibsons and Martins, and made similar spec. Recently in the electric world they have innovations such as El Ray and Romeos and Juliettea. My fave the E10 00 SS/v like a truly vintage L2. The Romeo is possibly best electric….
Beautiful guitars, and a great value! Its good to note that they aren't made in a typical Chinese factory, but rather handmade by much more skilled workers.
Love Eastman Guitars. I used to own a guitar shop and we were Eastman dealers. Very nice instruments. However, let's not call them budget guitars. A guitar such as the E40DTC has a sell price of $2600 which is outrageous for a guitar made in China. A comparable USA Made Martin (upon which this model is based) can be had for perhaps 20% more. I am not knocking Eastman - and if you play one side by side and like it better, by all means follow your heart. But don't go looking for what is being described as a "budget" guitar. These are very expensive for their origin (again, no disrespect to the luthiers who make them, I'm just stating a fact) and not budget. The top end of Eastman a decade ago was $1,200-1300 at which point in time I would have agreed that they were budget. Now, not so much... That's a lot of money to pay for a Chinese-made instrument and makes the decision, in my opinion, far more difficult... add $500 to your budget and you've got a fairly comparable Martin or Gibson (in the case of the SS style)
The Eastman E40 has fancy abalone inlays, raising the price considerably. It is not a fair comparison. The E20 is roughly half the price of the Martin, which is a more fair comparison.
You couldn't be more incorrect. What are you talking about? An Eastman E40 D TC ($2,600) is comparable to Martin's D-41 which retails for $5,199.00. Oh, and the Eastman is a far-superior guitar as well with better tone woods (Adirondack Spruce tops vs. Sitka Spruce on the Martin). The Eastman's are grossly UNDER-PRICED. Finally, unlike Martin's, which are almost completely machine built today, the Eastman's are entirely hand-crafted by Master Luthiers in China (you can watch videos of these artisans at work, here, on RUclips). The tops on Eastman's are voiced as well (while the Martin's are not....). I'll say the quiet part out loud: Eastman makes better quality guitars and they sound much-better too....That's simply a fact.
This is not a budget guitar and you lied to us. These are perfectly fine high quality guitars that are cheaper often than Martin. But they are not a budget guitar and you just did clickbait to get people to click on this video.
How can cooking in oxygen free environment be called ”natural aging”? I would suggest artificial … and also, I don’t agree that it removes all moisture. It surely removes ”things” from the wood yes, but that must be in a selective way of different wood material … and of course some water will remain
Yeah I don’t really like the fact they call these budget guitars but you got to take into consideration for instance the E20D. Yeah it’s around 1500 bucks but it’s compared and holds its own up against 3000 dollar guitars. Each price point is like that.
Lol would you relax and do some research @thc2stoned619 These are Eastman’s top of the line models… Equivalent/Close to Martin top of the line models, which are about $4k-$5k more expensive.. Their cheaper lines PCH and lower OM models go for much less, which are very much worth it for hand crafted guitars..
That music in the background is so distracting.
Hi! It's the E10D-TC that comes with Adi Top - Mahogany back & sides. The E20D-TC comes with Adi Top - Rosewood back & sides. 👍
Ah yes! Sorry a slight mix up in the video. Thanks for pointing it out!

Gotta appreciate the craftmanship that goes into these brilliant guitars! Eastman really are something special! 🔥

What is the cost of a martin with the same specs?
An Eastman E20d-tc is $1800 when a martin d28 is $3200. Definitely a lot more than $500 difference.
@@jasonmoorman8019exactly. The only reason why I’m buying the e20d is because I don’t have that d28 money

I have an eastman e3om on the way . Almost no demo videos the model 😬. Hoping its amazing .
What's that song playing in the Background? sounds nice.
Actually it is totally irritating. The song is probably OK, but I can't concentrate on what he is saying.

You're welcome
Is the pch series any good? Like the cheapest pch. Good or no?
Yes, they’re handmade like all of their guitars but with their beginner luthiers!
Model for model, these guitars all offer exceptional quality for what you can find from other producers at their pricepoint.
As good as Martin or Atkin?
Brilliant guitars
Such a joy to play!
Budget 🫣🥲🥲🥲🥲
The om is tops but still isn’t cheap but is cheaper than a Martin om
Eastman E40 TC RRP £2,500: what part of 'budget guitar' do you not understand?
It’s a demonstration that Eastman’s high end is about half the price of Martin’s high end.
OMOM!

Not their budget guitars misleading title
Play more, talk less ‘ be more interesting to hear that sound, nice playing by you!!

Talks for 8.5 minutes plays for 20 seconds tops...now we all know what HE sounds like.
If people had reached out to him with their love, he may have never had committed suicide?
What?
🎉
I have a ac120ce $850 cad, well they were;. They are budget eastmans.😐
Definitely not a budget guitar. Get real!
The 30em is quite budget friendly tho

£330 for the cheapest version is not really a budget guitar :(. And the ones you showed are over 2k each, very budget friendly hahahahahahahahaha
Guitars are high precision, labour intensive, detailed things to manufacture, £330 might be a fair chunk of money but it’s nothing for a guitar…
Lol would you relax and do some research @thc2stoned619

dang man kill that music playing over your voice.
Sorry but once you pass $1500 it is not a budget guitar
Couldn't enjoy the song with that guy talking, how rude!
