good explanation, few important points to make notes for examination point of view in easy language.
-The power centre changed from EIC to British crown.
-GG of India got the title of Viceroy and became direct representative of Crown.(first viceroy-Lord Canning)
-This act ended system of double government.(Board of control and court of directiors)
-A special secretary of state was appointed for Indian affairs with full power known as '' Political head of India"(First SOS-Lord Stanley). Assisted by '' Council of states"(15members).
-All the Authority and Function of Governance of India is put under control of GG of India(viceroy), with assistance of (executive council).
***overall
Governor general k pass ( executive council)the,aur secretary of state k pass (coucil of states)
the. aur GG resposible tha SOS ko aur SOS responsible tha british parliament ko.
