    You make great reviews. Very detailed. I love how you show the way these bags look on you while you walk, so I kinda get a feeling of how it looks on me. Keep up the good work!

    The Aer x-pac version has all aquaguard zippers as well. The long/tall pocket in the main compartment can act as a built-in packing cube.

    Great Review again Danny. Would love to see you cover some EDC 3-way backpacks like the Timbuk2 Scheme convertible and the Osprey Aoede Briefpack.

    Just in time for me. The exact two I was trying to decide between. Although I love the Alpaka products I own. Aer x-pac version is the winner for me. I just pulled the trigger.
    Thanks for your detailed review!

    Hey Danny, just noticed- It appears that these both can self stand? Would be a very convenient function while waiting in airport lines

    Great comparison, Danny! I always come to your videos when interested in a bag. Although the Alpaka pack seems a bit generous with it’s advertised capacity, the slightly smaller size actually works for my purposes better where I’m thinking of using it as a larger EDC for work and also as a personal item under the seat. Currently using the Osprey Nebula, so size might actually be pretty comparable. Thanks again for another great review!

    • @dannypacks
      @dannypacks  7 месяцев назад

      Thank you for watching and for the support! That’s a good point on the similarity with something like the nebula and I do appreciate the versatility of the size on the Alpaka

    Are these bags available to see in retail stores? I don’t understand how you’re supposed to know how something is going to feel if you order online? Seeing a product on you will be very different from when someone else wears it.

    would you recommend the AER Travel Pack 3 Small or the knackpack 2 Medium?

    • @dannypacks
      @dannypacks  9 месяцев назад

      Thank you for watching! Overall I prefer the comfort, aesthetic and laptop protection of the aer, I would go with knack primarily if looking for something expandable that could maybe work a little better for daily and longer travel

    I have Aer travel pack 3 x-pac.
    this is one of my best backpack ever but I hate magnetic buckle. it's loose so easily. just put the backpack on the ground it will release. so annoying.

    Alpka should be a good contender but the volume isn't 35L... There's no way. The front pockets (everything on the flap) have so little volume to them. It sucks because I like that it has a lot of pockets

  • @DaemonViews
    @DaemonViews 8 месяцев назад +1

    So alpaka is just lying each time they mention a volume.
    In the previous video you had to take the city pack instead of the pro to compare.
    Kinda a pain from alpaka.
    I mean you can be off a bit but those measurements can't be off by a bit.

  • @Shielmono

    AER duty & shipping fee suck ass outside of Japan and US. you had to spend like 50% more on their bag than any other brand. 10 year and they still couldn't figure it out like other brand.

    AER is just a more polished, professional-looking backpack. Prefer the magnetic compression locks and quick-release buckles on AER, plus the thicker top handle. Simply a more thought-out Travel (larger capacity) backpack. Not a big fan of those "half-zip" style openings like Evergoods Civic, preferring the more full open of AER. The AER Travel pack is simply the "Varsity" backpack while Alpaka is the junior league.

      @tkozikow 10 месяцев назад +1

      I have been using the Aer Travel Pack 3 Small for about a year, but a friend let me borrow an Evergoods CTP26 which I actually prefer. However, I own 6 or 7 Aer products and believe that they are best looking bags on the market.

    • @kevin-sj3wt
      @kevin-sj3wt 4 месяца назад

      i dont consider aer because the price is twice the price of alpaka in my country, aer in cordura 1680d and alpaka in ecopak eplx600 or vx42, US product import tax is so bad 😅
