im still trying to get an angle on how the game feels, the animations for the basic strings look kinda choppy and im hoping the commands dont feel that way. like im being redundant but i appreciate what j stars had to offer but this looks weird, art style and gameplay but i want it.
Yeah it looks wonky but according to the people who played it it's actually smoother than it looks. I already pre-ordered the game so it's not a problem for me. Just waiting for Friday
@@alexism9656 I've played the beta. You would think everything would feel clunky and stiff, but the controls respond pretty well and the combos are buttery smooth.
I played the beta and it is incredibly smooth! Everything feels fluid and connected. This is such a huge improvement from j stars victory versus, which was extremely wonky and just awful to play, this is 100x better!
The gameplay looks fun but what makes me dissapointed is that they started the story right the middle like sonic forces. At least the interactions between the characters are nice.

Gameplay wise this game is top notch. Story wise, not so much. Even the scenes just seem bland and boring. Not enough cinematic polish and flashiness.
