I'm afraid the Keb Agile isn't currently available in a Women's fit. They do produce a 'curved' and a 'standard' fit for Women, though, so I imagine they'll come eventually. Harry
Do they fit more like a pair of joggers but with the robustness of being a fjallraven trouser? Because I have a pair of the regular kebs and they have too much excess material on them for me to feel they fit me great, however I do love my kebs I would prefer a tighter fit?
I agree, Fjallraven really need to make the Keb trousers slimmer as in the wet, they can be a nightmare including a trip hazard due to the excess material. The Agile trousers look good 👍
Helpful review. What do you consider to be the temperature range that you’d wear these (without a base layer)? How far low could you go with base layer leggings? Can you roll these up to your knees on hot days, or would it be too uncomfortable or slip down?
Whilst something of a personal question (everyone responds to temps differently), a rough range for these trousers without a base layer would be 5c - 25c, obviously there's some leeway either side of this by using the venting zips and if you're moving more. With a base layer on underneath you'd probably extend that range down to -5c. When you kneel down do the kneel on the G1000 areas? The knee reinforcements look too high up the leg. I've found the same on the regular keb trousers too even in the long leg version.
They should do, but I can't say we tested when the video was being filmed unfortunately. We used to use the Vidda Pro trousers in the shop and the knee pads were in the perfect spot though, if that helps.

So I have a pair of vidda pro in 50/33-34 waist and I’ve put in a bit of (pizza) beef. What size would you recommend for the agile. I’m currently aRound 34 waist but do I need to go to 52. 36” waist.
If your Vidda Pro trousers still fit you in the waist then stick with the EU50, but if they're a little tight we'd recommend going up a size. It's worth pointing out that they do fit a little slimmer through the leg than the Vidda, but do have stretch, so if you wanted a more relaxed fit then the EU52 could be the winner. Plus it means more room for pizza...
Is that the normal green color way or is this video just heavily color corrected? The ones online and in-person I've tried on are REALLY green, same with the blues. And the black is too dark for the summer hikes these are made for. I wish every Fjallraven pant had at elast 1-3 more nuetral/reserved colorways. It's really the only thing stopping me from buying this pant. Every single fjallraven pant should be released in light brown/khaki. Otherwise, these are my favorite general trekking pant by a mile. Can be outfitted for all seasons, super comfy. But just going to stick with my neutral MidSummer pants for now. Thank you for the great in-depth review!

It's just lighting. Studio lighting will exaggerate colours, whereas when we filmed, the lighting was pretty flat. Same as if you were looking at a flower in dusk - it would seem less saturated than in bright sunlight. So yes, this is the standard green colour available to the public. Harry
I not sure about using wax to protect from wet weather, surely there must be a pair of trousers in the range that are waterproof and can keep you warm when not so active in winter.

I have some Keb Tourers with such "reinforcement", which is wearing out. Fortunately, since it's not structural the trousers are still OK. It's just as well that Fjallraven have only used the G-1000 where it either won't be subject to wear, such as the pockets, or is merely an overlay, ie over the knees and the inner ankle area. Fjallraven have dropped the seat overlay from the Keb Lite with these Agile Kebs, an admission of it's uselessness as a reinforcement, IMO.

@@sorwrang Hi Søren, that's certainly what all Fjallraven's hype about G-1000 has led people to believe , but it's simply not true. Trousers I have with panels of G-1000 and softshell are compromised by wear on the G-1000 whilst the adjacent softshell is unworn, despite being subject to the same abrasion. G-1000 is a material long since superceded in usefulness by superior technology in softshell fabrics and finally, without admitting it openly, even Fjallraven seem to be starting to steer away from it, using it as a non structural overly only. I've had issue with polycotton panels on other brands trousers too, notably my Lundhags Makke pants.
The colour featured in the video are the Laurel colourway linked in the video description, they do come out greener in person compared to how they came across on this video. I think they have gone too far with the features. Why do you need so many pockets when you have storage space in your jacket and rucksack? For me, less is more!
I like the thigh pocket thing. I keep my phone handy in one and wallet or whatever in the other. I don't like stuff in my jacket pockets as there's always a faff with backpack straps every time you access them. Never met a jacket with useful pockets when wearing a pack.
These pockets are in front of your thighs, not aside. I think with every step things inside of them will poke your thighs, not to mention when scrambling.
@@Babel7078 Hi Rade, front-mounted pockets like these are less flappy than side-mounted pockets and keep stuff in them out of the way of rocks and branches. Definitely a feature I look for on any outdoor trousers, they're the best option for items you'll need quick access to, IMO.
They look ridiculous. This current fashion for a skinny fit really irks me. I have a fairly "normal" body and most stuff suits me but I will not be considering these. All that money to look like a combat ballerina, no thanks. (I own normal Keb trousers.)

G-1000 is laughably overrated in terms of its fabled "durability", in fact, I think I'll go mad if I hear one more reviewer trot out that old G-1000 durability myth. It's polycotton, after all, and has nowhere near the durability you can find with softshell materials. It's Fjallraven's signature material, however, and they're stuck with it unless they admit after all this time that it's rubbish. I've experienced severe and premature wear from Fjallraven trousers made from various weights of G-1000 and from my experience with Fjallraven trousers made of softshell and G-1000, its the G-1000 panels and particularly the seams at the crotch which have let me down. I like the cut and fit of Fjallraven trousers, however, as I can't easily find my size - Euro 44L - from other brands. I used to find Mountain Equipment's trousers in a 30 Long were great but ME's just aren't right for me in recent years. Having tried Kebs, Abisko Lite and Vidda Pro Ventilated, and experienced disappointing early wear with all of those, I've long felt that a predominantly (or preferably, entirely) softshell trouser from Fjallraven would be a solution to the wear issue, having had a pair of Keb Touring trousers (structurally, entirely softshell) for four years with NO WEAR!, apart from cosmetic damage to the G-1000 overlays. The Agiles look to be pretty much what I'd need for warmer weather. A slim cut, like the Abisko Lite (nice but fragile) but beefier and effectively softshell, with overlays of G-1000 where they can't do any harm if (when) they wear out. Now, where to find my size? UK retailers just won't stock my size so I'll either have to find a European dealer that still delivers to the UK. or buy direct from Fjallraven, who have a non - EU warehouse from which UK orders are despatched. Edit 2023: I've had a pair of Montane Terra Missions for nearly a year, purchased about a week after my initial comment. Much used and still as good as new. They will take braces and I'm using a set of Mountain Equipment braces with them. A Small Reg are just right for my usually Euro 44L frame and they're a comparative bargain too. Sorted.

They're a bit like normal keb trousers but with less bagginess on the lower leg and some additional room in the thigh. Harry

Spot on. For fast hiking I only need 2 pockets in the trousers and Montane Mode Mission trousers are perfect for cold weather.
