    Its clear you care about your customers and our vans. Thank you for taking the time to put together these videos for our benefit. Nicely done... this is on my to-do list now for sure!

    John that looks awesome. It’s amazing how much that upgraded the look. You probably saw the owners previous attempt at painting and thought this guy needs help. Thanks again…………

    Cool!! But for the first row of tape use the green Frog tape. The blue tape is great for latex but the solvents from rattle cans can soften the glue behind the tape and make a mess peeling off.
    I'm a cabinet maker and my finisher only uses the green frog tape for the first row around the piece you're taping off .

    Another great tip! Did mine last month- btw that little black plastic cap at the rear pops right out, makes for easier masking.

      Does undercoating help with road noise?

    • @boosttv5688
      @boosttv5688 8 месяцев назад

      It just looks so much better. As far as road noise not at all. That would be a tire change for me. I switched from a All-Terrain tire to a Highway Terrain Tire. These Vans have a lot of road noise

    Thanks so much for posting, I thought my only option was to rip out interior and replace. This is so much simpler. Can this same thing be done to the factory wheel rims? You have a video tutorial for that?

    • @owloffroad
      @owloffroad  23 дня назад

      Wheels would not be worth it. By the time you take them off, dismount the tires etc you could get a new wheel. If you really like the factory wheels you would have to have them powder coated

    Great video! I'm eager to start my sprinter conversion this summer and plan to install several Owal Van products, especially the monster box and Pismo bumper. Quick question: My sprinter has an OEM electric step with yellow rubber rims. Any tips on painting them? Thanks!

    Hi,
    Nice video, thanks
    Is there an alternative product for the "Rust Oleum rust reformer" that I can buy and deleviry in EU ?
    What is the name of this kind of product ? Any "rust reformer" gonna do the same jobs?
    Thanks

    • @owloffroad
      @owloffroad  6 месяцев назад

      I wish I could offer some more advise but I am not sure what products are available outside of the US. Any spray paint that is intended for metal (has self etching etc) would be best.

  • @wesrc

    • @owloffroad
      @owloffroad  8 месяцев назад +1

      Use an adhesion promoter on any plastic and a rough up any paint then use raptor liner or similar. We have some videos on this

      If you cannot find it then I would do a metal etch primer and a matte black paint over the top. Here is the link to the US Amazon listing: www.amazon.com/Rust-Oleum-215215-2PK-Stops-Reformer-Spray/dp/B082QNSC2T/ref=sr_1_12?keywords=rustoleum+rust+reformer&qid=1706729762&sr=8-12
