Have been doing this for long using one dark liquid lipstick on the outline and blending quickly in with a nude shade. Thanks so much for bringing up that point that it has to be matte ive seen many people overline but the light always reveals the dimension of the real lip shape. You did it really well I’m going to try to find a dark liner as there is more precision than when using a dark liquid lip stick x
I tried it your way and it worked on my upper lip. The natural line of my lower lip is rather "pouty" so the overlining there looked too unnatural. Matte lipstick worked very nicely.

Love who you are! If you have big or small lips it doesn't matter or make you anymore attractive, you see ladies that have small lips that are just as pretty as one with full lips, and vice versa. I didn't come here for tips on how to make myself have clown lips by outlining to the extreme but to tell you ladies you are all beautiful just the way you are

My dad told my mom she had “chicken lips...because chickens don’t have lips!” As I get older, I’m losing my dad’s freaking gorgeous lips into chicken lips. This helps.
I have a small mouth and my lips curl in in the corners so my lips appear very small which doesn't suit my head shape in my opinion (I have a strong jaw and a small mouth so it looks kinda odd) so I'm really stoked to try this! I hope it'll give me a confidence boost

I think that this trick is very useful especially for girls who don't have big lips like kylie jenner's etc , however I believe that we shouldn't feel insecure . We aren't everyone perfect . Love your imperfections ladies ❤ . Be confident

I overline because my upper lip has color in only the cupid's bow (the rest, while fuller, is just the same color as my face-it's weird). I've never heard of this concealer trick, and it worked :-) my lips stretched out into a smile without thinning. Thank you!

I d pick a dark brown if you use full coverage lipstick formulas (like matte liquid lipstick) or simply a shade thats in the same colour family like your lipstick but slightly darker:) 💖

How about drinking something or kissing? Whenever I have a liquid lipstick on and drink something or kiss someone it makes it all disappear... I even went to sephora and asked what to do to prevent it, they made me buy a bunch of stuff but it didn't make a difference at all
There are different formulas with liquid lipsticks, you will need a super matte one. I know from experience that the "Kylie matte liquid lipsticks" (the "matte" is important!) definitely don't smudge. In return they really are quite dry and an absolute pain to get off but they won't come off unless you put something oily on them. Hope this helps

I've done that. IMO, the gloss makes your lips look more plump, than just matte.

Yes, I think it depends on your lip shape...on my lips gloss doesn't work if I overline! You just have to try :-)
