The reason the progress bar kept going even after you completed the level is because the progress is now based on verification time. Since its basically impossible to calculate the length of a level now due to being able to reverse the direction, it simply records your time as you verify and uses that to track a players progress after it is uploaded. What most likely happened is that the creator went back and forth at the beginning for a while before starting it, so you beat the level faster than the creator on their verification attempt.
I think RobTop will only rate like 4 levels mythic a year, so only the BEST of the BEST will get mythic. This level is extremely great, but the mythics will be EVEN BETTER than the level we saw (And Ever by Galofuf)
It's probably too early for Mythic at this point. Coaster Mountain acted more as the base line for the rate not necessarily the average, Legendaries seem to have a lot of atmosphere since both fit that criteria.
God Toxic Surge looks so cool, from the design to the camera use to the track selection. Too bad I am very bad at GD so it would take me forever to even come close to completing it!
Eric, you don't have to reset from the pause menu, you can enable hotkeys from the settings (can't remember exactly what it's called) and restart with r or fully reset the level with ctrl+r

I like platformer but I prefer the classic mode. Its easier to make fun gameplay for and platformer demons suck. I think the rush to make platformers will die down soon and we will get around 50/50 of each. People just want way more platformer levels because they are new and exciting.
Am I the only one who thinks that calling other levels "non-platformer" levels is weird? It kinda makes the other levels feel like an outcast imo. Also, when I saw toxic surge, I for some reason thought of scarlett surge lmao.

It's not the first Godlike/Mythic, but it is the second legendary.

I loved that the fourth level had a menu at the beginning. This is the sort of stuff I'm most excited about with the new update.
The only problem is that it lets you basically beat the level if you stay in the menu long enough.
@@zthaizi If you stay in the menu then it kills you at around 20%, before going into the main gameplay part of the level.
The Practice Mode song (Stay Inside Me) in the background gives the video such a nice atmosphere
