I originally thought the third version of virulent junkyard’s OST was the best but as soon as I listened to this version of the song (which is now), I instantly changed my mind. You’ve done a beyond epik job remaking this and thank you for doing so!!
After almost a month of this version being in the game, I take back everything I said about it not living up to V3. Both are fucking great: V3 is a more casual approach to the previous versions while V4 is more upbeat, more frenetic and the clash of instruments works. I love both of them equally and I'm glad you're not letting any of the hate get to you. Thank you so much finn, long live Virulent Junkyard!! 🙌 ❤

honestly this ost update adds, among other things, noise. Just noise. It’s the best way I can figure out how to describe it; like more sound yet less… enjoyment? what’s the word? It’s like you *may* have overdone the effects in the music a bit… yeah I reflect most of the other commenter’s opinion. V3 was better.
This is a good ost, question: what happens if anyone uses this ost when it’s VJ only, is it because you will think that no one gave you permission or you will think it’s stolen?

In v3, I could hear each of the instruments and they elements mix together properly and made the song good. but in v4, feels like too much sounds are not mixing together and did not made the good effect unlike v3. think the instrument sound that has strong reverb affected to this. and seems like some instruments from v3 that gave more intense and vibe has removed. And the end part of the song does not decrease intense unlike v3 and I think it makes me feel like the song is less completed than v3. but the 1:10 was better than v3, it gives more intense and good to listen.
this new version feel way too repetitive as the same melody keeps getting used over and over again, and the ending doesnt feel as "rewarding" and "emotional" as the last version
I agree to some extent, my biggest complaint is that the entire song now feels too bloated with instruments; it's all drums, kind of like how most FE2 tracks play nowadays. And yeah, reducing the ending piano to 2-3 seconds felt odd. Other than that, the song still keeps the third version's vibe and I'm glad Finn got to remake my favourite map OST.
Honest opinion: yeah this is better than v3, the piano part at the end of v3 is overhyped (and if any of the commenters disagree with me thats -not- okay don't -actually do- argue with me over it)

V4 is better than V3 in my opinion, V3 established a new kind of drum beat but wasn’t for a map like this, map is mid-fast paced, not fast paced. However I do miss the piano, however this version is better because it’s more balanced

Initially, I didn't like this one as much as V3, but this hits a lot different in-game. Both are very good songs.
