I grew up in River Edge, retired and now living in Las Vegas. My parents lived on Taft Rd and were paying almost TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS in property tax! I was paying $5400 on a condo in Hackensack. I'm paying $640 in a guarded gated community. Paid fire, City and County along with a massive police department. I liked River Edge but...if I was still living in NJ, I'd be living in a dumpster behind Home Depot! I miss Shoprite though 😂
